74 Sunset At The Restauran

Aftet talking to Old Samuel, Naga went to the manor's gathering hall where Draxus is waiting.

Draxus stood up and bowed down when Naga entered.

"Greetings, My Lord." He greeted Naga.

Naga nodded and said, "Good to see you."

The servants brought the food and drinks before closing the door.

Naga and Draxus sat down.

"My Lord, the kids are talented. We fought demon scouts and they did well." Draxus said proudly.

"Great. I am expecting a lot from them." Naga said and took a roasted chicken.

Draxus smiled and said, "They will not disappoint you, My Lord."

Naga smiled but did not respond.

He thought for a bit and said, "I need you to do something for me."

Draxus asked before drinking his wine, "What is it, My Lord?" 'Gulp.'

"I need the shadow emissary. Alive. We need to have a good conversation." Naga said and smiled.

"I see... Leave it to me then." Draxus responded with a sinister smile.

Naga told Draxus to initiate the plan before the shadow emissary goes back to the council. Of course, they will do it outside of the city's teritory.

"My Lord, do you trust the Gold Sky Palace?" Draxus asked after they talked about their plans with the shadow emissary.

Naga looked at him and smiled, "Why? Are you worried of something?"

"Yes, My Lord. The palace is too proud and arrogant. Their High King is dangerous and cunning." Draxus said.

"I understand. Don't worry." Naga said and smiled.

He continued, "Go, use this time to prepare."

"As you wish, My Lord." Draxus bowed down and left.

Naga stood up as well and left the hall.

He was about to go back to his house when Ian approached him.

"Boss." Ian bowed down and said.

"What is it?" He looked at Ian and smiled.

"Miss Bella wants to see you." Ian said with excitement.

Naga smiled and asked, "Where is she?"

"Central District, Gentle Book Restaurant." Ian lightly bowed and answered.

"Got it." Naga smiled and said before leaving.

"Boss, I'll get your ca..." Ian was interrupted.

"It is fine. I want to walk so just continue your training. It will be helpful." Naga said smiling.

"I... I understand, Boss." Ian responded and bowed down.

Naga left the manor's gate and walked straight to the central district. The people from different factions who saw him tried to avoid him. Only n.o.bles with good connection to the authoritive manor greeted him. They tried to leave a good impression.

Now, everyone knows that this regular looking boy is one of the most dangerous individuals in the city.

When he reached the central district, he easily saw the Gentle Book Restaurant.

It is an elegant paG.o.da with nine floors. There are two golden statues of scholars outside too. He saw a small garden with a lot of rare flowers too.

Two young guards immediately approached him. They bowed down and said, "Welcome, young master."

The manager of the restaurant went outside as well and approached him. She smiled and said, "Young master, the princess is waiting at the seventh floor."

Naga looked at them and nodded, "Thank you."

The manager escorted him inside.

Before he entered the third floor, the manager said, "Young master, the whole floor was rented by the princess. She is at the table near the window.

Naga nodded and said, "Thanks."

He entered the floor and immediately saw the princess. He waved at her and smiled.

"Good to see you, young miss." He said with a warm smile.

The princess looked at him warmly and said, "Yes. Good to see you."

She stood up and continued, "A Lot of people wanted to meet you these days. Some might get angried, do you think so?"

Naga lightly shooked his head and said, "I don't mind. Seeing you is a priority. Others should wait."

They looked at each other and lightly laughed before sitting down.

Two servants approached them and brought he foods that Bella ordered ahead of time. Another servant approached them and put three books at the table.

"I heard that there is a real royalty in your manor right now. Who is she?" Bella asked smiling.

Naga picked up a book and opened it. It was a red book with a dragon design on the cover.

He said, "A princess from a far away kingdom. Here for a business transaction."

Bella frowned and said, "A business transaction?"

"Yes. She will leave after that." Naga said and smiled.

He closed the book and put it back on the table.

"I see." Bella said with a low voice.

She continued and looked at the books, "Those are my favorite stories."

"Cool. I will make sure to visit this place from time to time to enjoy the food and the books." Naga said and smiled.

"We should always go here together then." Bella said with a warm voice.

"Sure. That's a good idea." Naga looked at her and said.

They started eating and talked about the current events. Naga was surprised since it seems that the city lord and the duke are giving more information now to Bella.

Bella was surprised with the developments with Naga's group. She was really proud of him.

She stopped eating and thought for a bit before asking, "Naga, will you still go with me to the royal capital?"

"Of course. Why not?" Naga frowned and asked.

"A royal princess is here. I heard that an important emissary will visit your great House as well... so I think..." Bella was not able to finished what she wanted to say.

"It is fine." Naga smiled and responded.

He continued and said before eating a good piece of steak, "I want to be with you anyway."

Bella was surprised and stunned. She looked at Naga and smiled meekly.

Naga looked at her as well and smiled.

"Th... thank you." Bella timidly said.

"You are welcome." Naga responded.

He looked at the window and he was mesmerized by the view. A beautiful and peaceful sunset is coming.

He said, "The view here is quite nice."

"I am glad that you like it. This is my favorite spot because of that view." Bella said and looked at the window as well.

The huge window is facing west. Here, you can have a good view of the sunset.

They are watching the sunset when Bella looked at Naga and said, "My grandfather broke off my engagement."

"I heard." Naga said while still looking at the sunset.

"I am happy. Really happy. But I am afraid. My grandfather..." Bella said worriedly with a low voice.

Naga looked at her with a warm smile but did not respond.

"Why?" Bella frowned and asked.

Naga shooked his head lightly and said, "Nothing will happen to your grandfather nor to the city."

He looked at Bella and said with a warm tone, "Trust me."

Bella became bashful and looked at the sunset. She's now more collected and calm.

'Of course, I trust you. I believe you. I will always believe you.' She thought to herself and smiled.
