42 The Deal's Rewards

She and Bella went to one of the mansion's secret rooms after Naga left. This room is where their grandfather, the previous supreme general, is resting.

"Sweet child, that kid didn't go here to ask permission. He went here to tell us that he wants the gem. The House of Iron Crow is extraordinary." The old man said.

The old man was average of height and just wearing a simple hemp robe but his clear eyes are sharp and powerful. His white hair is as refine as the mountain snow.

"I believe in them, big sister. Grandfather, thank you for not giving him a hard time." Bella said smiling.

"Them? Or just him?" The City Lord asked and smiled.

"Hahaha!" Their grandfather laughed. He was really happy today.

At this time, Naga arrived at their manor. Servants and guards are waiting outiside along with Bill and the two old men.

"Greetings, My Lord. Welcome back!" Bill said.

"Greetings Young Master Naga!" the servants and guards bowed down. They were informed about Naga's true status now in the House of Iron Crow.

"Hahaha! Look at you boy! Welcome back!" Old Drun laughed and said.

"It's been a while." Naga smiled at them and said.

Old Samuel just smiled at Naga then looked at the two people with him.

Draxus and Hextor were greatly surprised. They saw an old orc with strong scent of battlefields, A high elf with strong magical presence and a young man with mysterious magical presence. Both of them understand that this man is the one with the ancient prime. Naga told them about it before.

Draxus was really happy. Following Naga is the right choice. This group is so powerful and can't be offended easily even by the supreme council.

"This is Draxus, he is a man with a dragon bloddline and he is Hextor, a true dragon. They will be part of my Silver Sparrow family. And of course, part of our House of Iron Crow" Naga introduced the two and smiled.

"Greetings! We are Lord Naga's servant." Draxus and Hextor said.

Bill and the two old men smiled at them and greeted them as well while the servants and guards were shocked. They thought how lucky are they just by being servants and guards of this house. The group went to a large hall were food and wine are waiting. They talked about recwnt events too and why the elves are not here. Naga learned that his Silver Sparrow family is still on training camp and will be back in a week as the earliest. Old Samuel sent a messenger to the camp to inform them about Naga's return.

The following day, Naga summoned the book and read about s.p.a.ce magic. Then he read about the Moon Eater and he looked for any information about the Eye of tHe Great Serpent. While he's busy with it, Old Samuel spoke to Draxus and Hextor since these two should know what to do and expect. He wanted to exchange information as well.

Naga looked outside the window and was surprised that it was already evening. He went ouside the manor and walked through the forest until he reached an old hut.

"You came, young master Naga." A young woman wearing a hood greeted him.

"As part of the deal." Naga smiled at her and walked inside then sat down at one of the chairs.

"Here." Naga casually put the small box at the table.

The young woman removed her hood and looked at the box carefully before picking it up. The woman was Yuna.

"Thank you." Yuna said and smiled at Naga.

She continued, "What are your demands young master."

Naga looked at her and smiled. "First, the Profound Great Tiger Alliance should stay. If the current leader will go with you then we will need to get them a new leader. The alliance can help in maintaining the balance of power here and they are useful in some other way to me as well. They will operate as a separate ent.i.ty but... my words are absolute."

"That is fine. The current leader is yes, an officer of our cult, but he can stay and help you out. We will have a meeting before I leave the city." Yuna said.

Yuna is happy with this arrangement since her cult will still have connections within the city and they might be able to build better relations.h.i.+p with the House of Iron Crow.

"Cool. We can do the meeting at our manor. Second will be a treasure... something that will be useful to the city. Send it to the City Lord's mansion."

"Got it. We already prepared something for the city." Yuna said.

"As expected. You are a great business partner." Naga smiled and stood up. He walked outside the hut after.

Yuna was surprised. She thought that Naga will ask for more requests or treasures. For the Eye of The Great Serpent, their cult is actually to give some more as part of the deal.

"Young master..." Yuna stood up as well and called Naga.

"What? I don't need anything else right now. You are lucky." Naga said and smiled.

"But..." Yuna didn't know how to continue or what to offer. She wanted her cult to leave a good impression to Naga.

"If you insist... how about letting me read the oldest ancient scripture of Bakunawa? The Demon Ocean Scroll... Don't worry, I only need an specific information."

Yuna was surprised and aghast. Only few are knowledgeable about the Moon Eater's name and only the inner circle of the cult know about the ancient scriptures created by Bakunawa, himself. She wanted to ask but she noticed that Naga is far away now. She thought that he is just teasing her. However, it is a fact that Naga has knowledge about their cult. She didn't know where Naga learned about it since she remembered that before Naga didn't even know her cult's name.

"Interesting... You are more interesting than I thought. We will meet again soon." Yuna smiled and looked at the box she was holding.
