"Good afternoon, Father." The old woman bowed.

Father Justus nodded and smiled. He went downstairs with Naga. After reaching the bas.e.m.e.nt, the old priest approached a closed door and knocked two times.

"Good afternoon, Father." someone from inside the room said and opened the door.

"G.o.d Bless you." Father Justus said and smiled.

They went inside and Naga was surprised since he saw a huge altar with a magic portal. This is out of his expectation. This church is full of secrets.

"Young master Naga, we prepared this ahead of time. This is connected to a different place. A hidden island under complete jurisdiction of our Order." Father Justus smiled and informed Naga.

"I see." Naga doesn't know what else to say.

Father Justus entered along with a guard wearing an armor. Naga followed suit.

This portal is weird. Before, Naga can clearly see the other side like it's just a step away but after entering, they walked for about a minute before reaching the place.

"This is a sealed and compressed portal so the island's coordinate can stay hidden." The guard explained when he saw that Naga frowned.

"Oh, I see." Naga replied. He has high interest with this arcane art. He'll read about s.p.a.ce and portals after this visit.

Naga saw huge buildings. He saw a cathedral and different buildings around it. They entered an old fas.h.i.+on building located near the center of the island. Naga saw a huge open area with a fountain in the middle then he noticed a middle-aged man with white hair wearing a robe with a golden sash around his waist standing near the fountain. The man turned around and looked at them.

Without any warning, he saw the man generated a golden light magic.

The man summoned a sword made of light. He gestured in the air and the floating sword attacked Naga.

'Sssswwiisshh'

Naga frowned and jumped backwards. "Hey!"

However, what he saw next shocked him. The man jumped while holding another sword made of light and attacked him again.

Naga did manuever another backward jump and summoned the Bow of Great Flame. He also used Arcane Power Blessing. It's not completed yet but Naga needed to do something so he can defend or parry.

'Clas.h.!.+' Both weapons engaged in a clash. One made of light while the other one is made of fire.

When their weapons. .h.i.t each other, Naga lightly step backward and he bended downwards the wrist of the hand he's using to hold the bow. With the force of the sword attack, the incomplete bow which looked like a curved fire staff pierced the ground.

When the man in mid air lifted his sword, he noticed a swift kick coming from the the right that will hit his abdomen so he blocked using his right leg. He was surprised and jump backwards when he hit the ground.

After the incomplete bow pierced the ground. Naga used it as a stand and lifted his body for a swift left kick. When he saw that the man was able to defend it perfectly, he stepped back and didn't attack anymore.

"Hey. Let's stop, okay?" Naga said. He doesn't want to continue the fight.

The man looked at him. "You are a mage, right?"

He was surprised. The way Naga defended and attacked is not something a mage will do. He thought that Naga will summon a powerful barrier or attack using a fire or lightning bolt.

"Well, yes. But I am only an Arcane Expert. So, can we stop now?" Naga asked again.

"Hahaha. Of course." The man laughed.

"Old Justus... This kid. He doesn't know how to use Dragon Mana, right?" The man asked smiling.

"Yes Sir Lucas." Father Justus smiled.

"Oh. Kid, you're good. Sorry about that. I just want to try you out. I was informed that you're a mage but it seems that the report is wrong. You have the eyes of a warrior and not a mage too. Well, I'm not saying that you're stupid. What I want to say is that your eyes are overbearing." Lucas explained.

Naga just smiled. This man in front of him is strong and observant.

Father Justus and the guard was surprised too. This kid is really not ordinary. If he learns how to use his Dragon Mana, he will be a powerful legendary expert in the future.

"Common let's talk inside the Hall Of Golden Light." Lucas said and walked towards a huge door.

Meanwhile inside a small hut near the river outside of the city, two women are talking.

"Are you sure?" A woman wearing a cloak asked.

"Yes, master. We need to watch them closely. That group is not simple. They're not just traveling merchants." A young womam answered and bowed. She remembered her interaction with the kid. She was the same woman who delivered food to Naga.

"I'll report it to the council. But... Are you sure that they're not here for that thing?"

"I'm not sure but it seems that they don't know anything about it." the young woman said.

"We created our Proud Great Tiger Alliance not just to dominate the underworld and gangs of the city but for a higher chance of getting that thing." the cloaked woman stood up after saying this.

"I understand. I sent reports to the allied gang leaders. We can expect better results in a week." the young woman answered.

"Alright. The council is just using the alliance but be careful since they have experts too." the cloaked woman reminded her subordinate. After that, she left the small hut.

The young woman remain seated inside the hut. She's thinking about their next plan. They created a poweful gang in the city three years ago and organized an alliance with two local gangs. Those two gangs are rich and powerful since they have members inside the capital of the empire too. The Golden Tiger Gang has slave trade and brothels as businesses while the Sky Tiger Gang is prominent with extortion and smuggling. The gang created by the coucil mentioned by the woman is the Profound Moon Gang, they gained prominent through gang wars. They defeated the two gangs and instead of destroying it, they offered alliance.
