They are resting in the sofa and talking about what happened. "Hahaha. Idiots. Did you see it? They are treating Bill like he's their crown prince. This is really effective. Good work, Naga!" Nicholas, the blue-haired mage, laughed out loud and gave Naga a thumb's up as approval.

"Well, it is thanks to the orb as well. Look at you Bill, who will think now that you are actually a middle-aged man? You look really like a young lord. Wow." Naga chuckled.

"I'm still young, My Lord. I'm just 21 years old this year." Bill answered with a low voice.

'Cough.' Old Samuel didn't know that Naga was not aware of Bill's overall situation. He looked like a middle-aged man before due to half drained life force and damaged soul. He was a failed experiment human after all. The orb didn't just improve his magic power but also completed his soul and reflenished his life source.

'Agh.'

"Sorry?" Naga was caught off-guard and he looked stupid. Actually, they think that he's stupid right now.

Bill bowed and said "I was experimented on. My soul was damaged and my life force was..." Naga interrupted him.

"I'm sorry. Oh, please. My... my bad. I don't want you to remember it. Please stop. Sorry." He didn't mean it. He didn't know. Sigh.

"Thanks, My Lord." Bill showed his respect again to Naga.

It seems that they can't open up a new topic after what happened when Naga suddenly ask the old elf. "Old Samuel, how will I be able to use magic? Also, it seems that oscar is using a different one." Everyone frowned.

"Naga, you don't know how to use magic? You don't know to utilize force mana or arcane mana?" Dilan asked.

"So I'm right! The manuever you did with the chain before didn't contain any mana at all." Albert greatly admired Naga.

Oscar and Old Drun are both looking at him. "I can feel that you are a mage with a level of Arcane Apprentice. What are you saying?" Old Drun asked.

"That's right. I can feel it too however, yes, I never see you practicing any arcane arts. The way you attacked is not something a mage will normally do." Dilan commented this while focusing his eyes to check the energy around Naga.

"Lost your memory? I remembered you said that you don't know your name. What did your previous owner do to you? Poor slave." Old Samuel asked and felt sadness.

Naga doesn't know how to answer it. He tried to think about it and now he remembered that this body of his was trained in gathering mana.

"There are two ways of using magic. One is using the force mana. This is what soldiers, knights and other fighthers are using. You can imbued your weapon and body with a powerful magic. Good for attacking and defending. You can use elements too but this is lacking compared to an arcane user. However, there are many advantages in using force mana specially that it can be combined with a martial art or fighting technique most of the time." Oscar gave the general idea.

"Arcane mana is what mages are using. This is considered the true form of magic. Only an arcane user can be called a mage. This is a gift from the G.o.ds. They said that before only dragons and deities can use magic. Arcane mana can be used on more things compared to force mana. With arcane, not just elements but even s.p.a.ce can be controlled or manipulated. So it's good that you're actually a mage." Dilan said. He's really a proud mage.

Naga and the other men looked at Dilan with different expressions.

"Some mages are also bandits. Me and Dilan..." Nicholas was interrupted by Dilan.

"What? Are you telling Naga to be.."

"Oh, sorry." Nicholas smiled and everyone laughed out loud again.

"Anyways, hmm. There are six levels to the mage's comprehension and power. Arcane Beginner, Arcane Apprentice, Arcane Expert, Arcane Master, Arcane Lord and Arcane Emperor. t.i.tles like Archmage, Warlock and Grand Sorcerer can only be obtained when you reach Arcane Lord's level. Pretty easy to remeber right?" Old Samuel said.

"What's your level?" Naga curiously asked. Everyone wanted to know his level specially Dilan.

"I'm actually an Arcane Lord. But, I am only at the first layer. After reaching Arcane Master, all levels are divided into 3 layers."

Again, everyone was surprised. Dilan is full of respect now with this old elf. Old Samuel really deserves to be a leader of a high elves village. Naga was all smile after hearing Old Samuel.

"Tsk. As expected of elves magic comprehension ability." Old Drun commented.

"How about the Ancient Prime?" Naga suddenly asked.

"Prime, Chaos, Dragon and Holy are special types of mana. They can't be used by just anyone." Old Samuel said. He also said "I can control Chaos mana and I'm at Expert level but that's it."

They are looking now at Bill. This is a man with a pure Ancient Prime in his body. What a monster.

They decided to rest. Tomorrow Bill will meet the City Lord and the representative from Crimson Earth.

Naga learned that to control mana he needs to feel the magic essence in the environment, gathers it and create his own mana reserve. With continuous practice this reserve will grow more. He is at the Apprentice level so he is happy that he will not start at the bottom. There are a lot of things to do and he doesn't want to waste time just to practice magic. He'll start his training tomorrow. He will also study the old book more. Also, he was disappointed to know that he doesn't have any force mana. He can't do anything but sigh.
