30 Chapter 30.

It is not that he did not have any idea either, but the fact of saying goodbye to Erumäre left him with a great emptiness that made him lose focus. Therefore, he decided to take time to plan a trip that interested him.

Aldarion got out of bed to get dressed when the new servant, whom Cirdan arranged to attend, knocked on the door and entered. The new servant was a man this time, and brought him his breakfast.

The new servant left the tray of food on the table while he greeted and said good morning to Aldarion. - 'He seems nice and polite.' - He thought.

Aldarion got up and started enjoying his breakfast. He had been eating for a while when he stopped and looked back.

Behind him, Aldarion saw the elf standing in the same place while watched him eating in silence.

"Mmmmm... Do you have anything else to do or tell me?" - asked Aldarion.

"I was waiting for you to finish eating to tell you, just as the King ordered me, but since you have asked directly... I will tell you." - the servant replied.

"During the night, two different groups of guests arrived at the residence. Right now they are all gathered in the audience room and they are waiting for you."

"Me?" - asked Aldarion as he pointed to himself. - "Why would the King want me to be present?"

"You'll know if you hurry." - The servant replied simply.

'How much mystery, what will it be?' - Aldarion thought to himself. - 'In any case I'm going to finish eating fast. The sooner I get to the audience room, the sooner I'll know what's going on.'

Aldarion ate very quickly and he was able to finish his breakfast soon, until there were moments when he choked and the servant feared that he would drown, but at last he got going and left his room for the audience room.

As he approached the room, Aldarion began to hear some screams.

"You have to help us, our people are in danger! You can not stay without doing anything! Besides, do you think that if we fell it would not affect you and your people ?!" - The voice was deep and hoa.r.s.e, also showed how worried the owner of the voice was.

The guard by the door saw him approaching and opened the door telling him he could pa.s.s. Upon entering, Aldarion realized that Cirdan was leaning on his throne as he listened to the envoy speak and by his posture, he seemed to pay no attention to him.

At that moment, King Cirdan, who was sitting in front of all the guests, saw that Aldarion was entering and with a gesture of his hand he ordered the envoy to be silent. The latter was not bothered by Cirdan's order because he thought that, finally, the King was going to pay attention to him.

"Finally the last member of the meeting has arrived." - Outside of fulfilling the expectations of the envoy, Cirdan did not speak on the subject that happened to him. - "Aldarion, I like to see you have finally come."

"If your majesty calls me, I would not dare to go against your wishes." - Aldarion said while making a slight bow. Normally Aldarion would not be so polite, but when he was in front of the guests, he turned his face to Cirdan. This showed that Aldarion respected the elven king.

"Two different groups have come to my residence today. First I introduce you to the envoys who come from the Dwarf Kingdom of Belegost in the Blue Mountains. Before presenting their problems, I think I must first tell you about the second group. "- In the first half of the presentation the dwarf envoys were happy, it seemed that the King was going to give priority to his problem, but as he was listening to the second half, their faces began to darken.

"I think the second group will not need a presentation if they discover their faces." - After Cirdan said this, the second group of envoys took off the hoods that covered their faces.

When they saw Aldarion, his eyes widened in surprise. - "Duinhir! What are you doing here?"

The second group consisted of his brother's men and Duinhir was the man who his brother trusted in. That he was here was not good news for Aldarion, because it meant that his adventures ended up here.

'Seriously? My adventures have not even begun and they are over?' - Aldarion began to get depressed inside, but also the anger began to emerge.

"My brother could not take it anymore that I was not with him?" - Aldarion said angrily.

Contrary to Aldarion's expectations, neither Duihir nor Cirdan said anything. This was very strange to Aldarion, who was stunned waiting for a reaction while he looked at the two people.

Suddenly, Cirdan started talking. - "It is not your brother who has ordered them to come. They're here for another matter, but it's not up to me to tell you." - He said as he pointed to Duihir to tell him to start talking.

Duihir did not know where to start talking and he ducked his head to hide his gaze. - "My lord, I do not know how to tell you this, but... your brother... your... your brother is... dead." - Duihir had a hard time announcing such bad news.

When Aldarion heard the news, he was not stunned and did not know how to react. He could not say anything, but inside he now had different thoughts.

On the one hand, Aldarion did not care about the death of his brother, he did not know him in person, indeed, the death of his brother helped him in his future plans to make the faction of good win. But, on the other hand, his ability 'Role of the Avatar' made him have feelings for his brother that if it were not for the ability, he would not even have.

At that moment, memories that were not of his original self and that belonged to his avatar began to invade his mind. Memories of how his brother took care of him and protected him when they were little. Memories of how his brother and his mother were with him.

'Now I am alone. There is no one left of my family.' - Aldarion thought to himself as a small tear fell down along his cheek.

Aldarion did not notice, but more and more, his original self and his avatar were closer.

"How did it happen?" - He managed to ask Duihir.
