5 Dungeon Boss

"Huff... I guess it's time to face yet another foe. Honestly, I don't expect much from this, but I hope I gain a good amount of experience."

As I moved forward, I blissfully sang a song I created in my mind,

"I'm in a dungeon and I'm screwed.

I need apples and more food.

I don't feel hungry, heck I don't feel my face,

WHAT IN THE WORLD, IS MY RACE?

I'm a SKELETON! Heck Yeah!"

Walking through the dark cave, I heard clas.h.i.+ng sounds. The sound of metal hitting metal resonated in the dungeon. Now, I began murmuring my recently created song as I advanced.

'What the heck's going on?' is exactly what I thought as I walked towards the source of the sound. While walking, I faced no being along the way. Honestly, the vibe of the whole dungeon just made me curious for some reason.

After an hour, I encountered a large metal door, which slightly opened. To that I wondered,

'Where in the world is this stuff coming from? I mean, I respect the way this dungeon is built but really, how did anyone in this world manage to fit such a large door in the middle of a cave? And even if they did, why? Just why? Why on Earth would you do something like that?'

Wait. Is my statement even applicable anymore? Am I on some alternate version of Earth, or is this world something else? I mean, I saw humans here on this planets so...

Screw it. I don't know why I think of such useless topics to begin with. I'll probably check for that info later.

Getting back to the main topic, what happened next was, I entered through the door. 'Cause why not? I was just walking during the course of the past hour anyway. I pushed the heavy door and pa.s.sed through.

After walking a few more steps further into the cave, the door behind me closed. And ahead of me, a large dinosaur-like skeleton roared. The freakin' discourteous b.a.s.t.a.r.d! To roar in front of my face like that!

Wait. Did I just enter the boss room? G.o.dd.a.m.n it. And here I thought it was a safe zone.

As the skeleton roared, his metallic bone-shaped body clanked due to the movement of its bones. The wind emitted by the roar pa.s.sed through my eye sockets and filled my skull with air. It was then, I realised I had no brain to support this skeletal body. With the realisation that I was in fact brainless, I let go of the swords in my hands, I put my hands on my head and panicked as I spoke,

"I don't have a brain!!! I DON'T HAVE A FREAKIN' BRAIN!!!! F***!! I'M LITERALLY BRAINLESS!!"

After the roar, the bone-shaped metallic dinosaur then rammed it's head into my body. As I was pushed back to the metallic door, my rib cage cracked. I fell on the floor, with a few of my bones in the middle, crushed. I felt no pain, and I regretted nothing I did.

Enjoying this dungeon instead of taking it seriously is what incited happiness in me. I was already dead to begin with, so it's not like I really had the fear of death. For this reason, I always remained goofy ever since I entered this dungeon. Having fun was my priority.

Now I was happy with my journey. I required nothing more from it. And with this thought, I remained positioned on the floor, ready to die. And then, there was light. A bright yellow light pa.s.sed through my body and cast on to the metallic bone-shaped dinosaur. Was I finally dead?
