10 Chapter Ten

When she got up the next morning Madara had already returned from his morning exercise routine. While pa.s.sing through the living room she was surprised to find a large suitcase in the middle of the room. The suitcase was certainly not hers as her luggage was still in the bedroom.

Was this Madara's?

She looked up suspiciously and asked "You want to leave home?"

"I wanted to go diving, so I will be going to Maldives now" he explained.

Exactly when did he prepare his luggage? Did he plan a while back? Then pretend as if he wasn't going, sensing the doubt in her heart Madara said "I prepared it last night"

Oh, makes sense. She was a deep sleeper that's why even through the ruckus he made taking clothes out of the closet and drawers she still slept.

Seira headed towards the bathroom, she took an hour overall just showering and changing into clothes more suitable to go out to the airport. She wasn't fond of drying her hair with a hair dryer instead wrapping a microfibre towel around her neck to absorb the wetness of her hair.

*As lazy as FL is she does take care of her outward appearance, which woman doesn't like to look beautiful?

She changed into a slightly oversized cement grey sweater and dark denim jeans paired with simple single laced heels.

*FL likes to keep up her appearance when travelling, though she usually keeps it casual with jeans and jumper and s.h.i.+rt or tank top.

Fortunately Madara's height wasn't small, so, even in heels she was still shorter by a bit. Madara didn't bother to confront her about the heels and changed into a black polo t-s.h.i.+rt with dark jeans and runners appearing casual. Despite their casual attire, it looked elegant and nice due to their good looks.

On their way to the airport for their flight they took out their luggage separately and checked if their tickets were on hand before heading inside. It didn't take long for the two to become the centre of attention as they made their way to the check-in. The wait in the queue was seemingly endless, finally they reached the front and had their bags checked in.

They still had time before their departure and decided to eat takeaway. Seira was ahead of Madara already stepping onto the escalator, compared to stairs this is much better, it was also quite fun.

Madara watched her from behind, he looked around to find numerous men and women staring at them. The aura around him darkened as he sent a glare to everyone staring especially the men ogling her figure.

Seira remained oblivious to her surroundings, she had long gotten used to the staring and ignored it.

She stopped and waited for him at the top of the escalator, Madara grasped her hand with his. Noticing her momentary bewilderment he leant into her ear and whispered "Don't forget to act like a loving couple, you never know who we'll come across" Madara didn't know why he was making excuses, but this way all the annoying men in the building would know she was his.

*ML is slowly but gradually becoming possessive of FL hehe

Seira nodded her head in understanding, she never thought about that, it seems they would need to be cautious everywhere they go.

Hand in hand they walked by each others sides towards a ramen stall. Madara ordered on their behalf and the two sat at a near by table waiting for their order.

Madara already knew from observation that she did not like meat (except chicken) and ordered her vegetarian miso ramen (miso base) and himself, tori s.h.i.+o ramen with sea salt and shrimp soup base.

When they got their order they prayed before digging in. The taste wasn't bad, eating ramen made her want to cook home made spicy ramen.

She had to tuck strands of her hair behind her ears to prevent them from getting in her ramen bowl, it was inconvenient she had left her hair tie in her carry on bag, she didn't want to go through her bag and left it.

All the while, across from her Madara took notice of her trouble and a playful smirk graced his handsome features. He didn't intend on lending a hand this time, seeing her irritated expression caused by her long silk tresses was amusing. She rarely ever makes a change of expression, it was too rare of a chance for him to ruin.

Even her irritated expression was cute. Madara didn't know why he thought so or why his line of sight always followed her.

*Timeskip to inside plane

Maldives was very picturesque but the journey to Maldives was very painful, for their feet at least. Fortunately they were travelling during a season where there were not many tourists, thus flights and hotels were booked a bit more easily, but the ten hours and a half one way flight was a little too much for her.

*The airport FL and ML are at is Tokyo International Airport, it takes approximately 10hrs and 24 minutes from j.a.pan to Maldives according to 'travelmath.com' but I made it 10 hrs 30 minutes it's easier that way

Thinking about it, they practically made a half turn around the world by aeroplane. Along the way she basically listened to some music and slept, when she groggily got up from her sleep it was already dark outside.

They landed at MALDI airport at ten o'clock in the night and then proceeded to undergo security check. The hotel they had booked was on another island but fortunately it was not far from MALDI airport.

They had to travel by ferry for a while, after tending everything and running around everywhere they finally reached the hotel at midnight.

The two simply washed up and went to bed. Madara mockingly pointed out "You have slept all day, how can you still sleep more?"

She disregarded his words, his blackened heart is only envious of her ability to eat and sleep well, why should she give in to his provocations, better to sleep.

Madara watched her a sigh escaping his thin lips, why did he even say that? She completely ignored him and went to sleep.
