50 People From The Pas

Crip seemed to be in despair, looking on at Lucas whose lying in front of him. GhostBoy was also there, but cannot be seen.

Lucas laid down in grievous injuries —his eyes were all white! "Lucas.." Crip whispered in despair. "...was damaged?! WHERE IS THE ENEMY?!!"

GhostBoy bowed his head. "I cannot be seen or heard. Not by you." he said calmly. "Now then, time to eat this soul.." he continued, staring at the ball of soul on his right palm.

"Lucas!! Please wake up!!" Crip went wiggling Lucas, but he has no responses. Much to his despair, he just screamed out of the Virtual City loudly with, "LUCAS!!!!"

"He has already..." GhostBoy continued, aiming to eat Lucas' soul. "...dead."

The whole place whitened. A bright mountainous place was seen floating onto the clouds. Lucas was there, laying. He slowly opened his eyes, and sat as if amazed. "Hmph?"

He stood in amazement as he checked the surroundings.

"Where is this place?!" he unknowingly gasped. He walked and felt the fluffiness of the floor. "And what's with the Ground?! Clouds?!!"

In excitement, Lucas ecstatically jumped up and down the cloudy floor, feeling the fluffiness on it.

"It feels good." he childishly smiled. "No, wait!!" he sat back seriously. "If I remember right...!!!"

"You were battling a ghost." someone not far away just uttered, shocking Lucas.

The one who spoke has the appearance of a young man. He wore a high-collared black and tan robes with gold trim, along with a large, flowing white toga draped around his torso. He has short black hair, dark eyes, and abnormally sharp canines.

"It's been a while.." the man greeted Lucas. "..Blaze Harper."

Lucas can only gasped as he asked, "Shad Cagney?!!" he was ultimately amazed. "Wha... huh.."

"I'm not Shad, but Shadow.." the man claimed to himself. "Don't be confused. HE'S MY REINCARNATION."

Lucas comically gasped. Lots of questions circuited in his mind.

"I am already dead. And the place to meet dead people... do you understand where are we?" Shadow asked in a smile.

Lucas cannot process everything, as he unconsciously said, "Is this h.e.l.l?!"

"You weren't thinking of heaven?" Shadow faked a smile, as he was left dumbfounded by Lucas' answer.

"It's because you're here." Lucas replied. "Ah, who are you, really? I don't know if we met?"

"Blaze, I'm your greatest opponent in your past life." Shadow explained. "But this place weren't h.e.l.l, nor heaven. It's something similar."

"So..." Lucas bowed his head. "I dead..?!" he seriously whispered.

"It's not death, but a close to death situation." Shadow elaborated. "It's hard to explain why are you here."

"It's true that it's the place where dead gathered." a barefooted girl uttered. She walked slowly towards the two.

Lucas turned back to know who is that girl.

"But there are times when those whose deaths aren't determined yet come here." she continued. "Just like you.. Blaze.."

The girl revealed her presence. She has very long, wavy, pastel yellow-blonde hair that reaches down to her feet with a small ahoge. She has peachy skin and a slight child-like build. She wears a frilly, pink layered robe with a red ribbon tied in a bow around her neck. Around the chest are three blue diamond patterns with two blue triangles above. Each series of these is outlined in a hot pink.

"Princ.i.p.al Lyns!!" Lucas then ran and hugged the girl, weeping comically. "WOOOOAAAHH!!"

"I'm not Princ.i.p.al Lyns." the girl smiled. "I'm Lyncée Blendy. I'm also dead."

Lucas was shocked, still clinging on the girl. "Hey, stop clinging to my wife!" Shadow shouted.

Wife? Lucas was left shocked. Lyncée bowed her body and introduced two young girls. "Yes. Here.. come say h.e.l.lo, Magenta, Kamikka."

"h.e.l.lo. Nice to meet you."

Lucas only dumbfound, as he gasped comically. "They're our children." Shadow hugged the two of them. These two are so pampered here."

Lucas and the "past-life" people he met resided at a house at the cloudy heaven-h.e.l.l place. He sat at a table, with Shadow on his left. Lyncée was playing with her children.

"In our past life, I did many horrible things to you." Shadow uttered seriously. "But I believed you'd forgive me because you're such a nice person."

"Even if you do forgive me, I thought that the people I've caused such sorrow probably won't." he added. "But this place isn't heaven nor h.e.l.l, Blaze."

"I don't know what you're talking about.." Lucas whispered.

"This... is the Heaven that you've imagined." Shadow revealed. "Let's call it the Made-Up Heaven."

Lucas was shocked.

"It is the image of heaven that resides in your unconscious, past mind." Shadow elaborated. "And I don't know where our actual souls are.."

"My past life's heaven?" Lucas asked.

"Yes."

"It's weird, because I imagined heavens with more fire and a lots of Deities..." Lucas said expressionlessly.

"That.. sounds and looks like.. h.e.l.l!!" Shadow said in a dumbfound.

"A Deity?!" Lucas gasped, as a gigantic Deity whose bodily majority is covered with dark, red scales appeared behind them.

Its lower body, specifically his stomach, the inner portions of his long tail, and legs, are beige in color. His back has numerous black spikes, reaching down from the back to the end of his tail.

"I'm here, aren't I?" the Deity asked. He has a triangular head with horns, a pair of large, round eyes with yellow sclera and a sharp horn pointing upwards just above his nose.

Lucas stared at his very sharp canine teeth, and his claws with long, sharp, red nails. His large bony wings resembled a bat's, with rippled tips. This Deity has four legs.

"The Deity that gave me the Remnant Magic.." Lucas whispered —his face slowly turned into weeping one. "Victorious...?!"

"Long time no see, Blaze, my foster son." the Deity greeted. "In your mind, Shadow, Lyncée, and I all live peacefully."

Lucas wiped his fallen tears. He don't know, but his heart was touched after seeing Victorious. He slowly bowed and stared at Lucas closely.

"Your truly a kind child." Victorious, calmly said. "That's why you are strong...!!!"

"Now, it's time to go, Blaze. " Shadow interrupted, standing at Lyncée's left.

"You have always turned a bad situation into a good one and burned bridges." Lyncée smiled.

"But... this time, my enemy is a ghost.." Lucas bowed his head. "..my attacks won't —"

"What are you saying, Blaze?" Victorious asked. "Right now, aren't you something of a ghost yourself?"

This shocked Lucas. "When you returned to your world, you won't remember anything." Shadow explained.

"There is no helping it since it's the world of your unconscious, past mind." Lyncée added.

"However.. even if you don't remember us," Victorious continued. "we will always be in your heart."

"Yeah, thanks, Victorious. My dad..." Lucas smiled. "And thank you Lyncée.."

Lyncée and her children smiled back at him. Shadow just stared at Lucas as the place was slowly vanis.h.i.+ng.

"Make sure to be a good person, Shadow." Lucas bud a farewell to the Made-Up Heaven.

"You..." Shadow slowly vanished.

"I..." Lucas smiled, and the Heaven he imagined now completely vanished. "..have to keep living!!!"
