"I will!" Zanc replied, as Lucas notes that the two were preparing a trap. As the gargantuans fire their bats with great speed, Maru dodged sheer numbers of it, and Zanc punched all of them at once, smas.h.i.+ng them into the floor. Lucas, the panels and the entire audience stare in shock at Zanc and Maru's incredible feat, shocking Doll and Moon to doubt Lucas' ability to win.

However, others remained unworried about Two Bastion's strength. Zanc and Maru then turned to Lucas, who stares at him in frustration. Mr. Vacio smirks at Princ.i.p.al Lyns. "Just gve up.." he told proudly with in his mind that Lucas will not win. Princ.i.p.al Lyns then stood in the midst of the rumbling crowd.

"Students!!" she shouted with microphone. "This fight will be the first selection for our tournament, the Fire Evaluation!!" she finished. All of the students went shocked. Even though Mr. Vacio's plan was compromised, Zanc and Maru continued it.

As Lucas drops his burnt s.h.i.+rts, he stood amidst the raging crowd. He was now hotter than h.e.l.l! Revealing his toned and proportioned body, he charged forth, enveloped in his fire. Zanc and Maru prepared themselves and subsequently attack Lucas on the head, knocking him to the floor, to the surprise of the audience. The two were knocked backwards by the unexpected blow, to the surprise of his panels and the joy of Moon and Doll, but quickly regains their composure and began their counterattacks by forcefully stopping their movements and attacking Lucas by creating fire talons, which knock Lucas into the air. Lucas retaliates with his Fire Halberd attack, directing it towards Zanc and Maru who blocked the attack by using Talus to splash fires to protect themselves.

As the fire vanished, Lucas quickly came forth and threw a punch at Zanc, who blocks with his right hand. Maru quickly burst another explosion which hit Lucas, who was forced to use his Fire Body to avoid Maru's attacks as he continued to explode them. As Lucas flew back towards Maru, Zanc managed to score a hit to Lucas' head, but Lucas quickly retaliated with a punch of his own.

The three Mages began fighting with hand-to-hand combat, scoring a number of direct hits on one another as the audience was surprised that Lucas was able to keep up with the Bastions. Princ.i.p.al Lyns took note of Lucas' strength display as well, with Mr. Vacio shocked, stating in mind that he knew he didn't expect Lucas to be so strong.

Lyns coughs. "The youth always grow up," she spoke, just as Lucas charged and delivered a powerful blast of fire in Maru's direction. As the dust from the blast clears away, Maru remarked that, "I am astounded by your abilities.." as he panted in exhaustion.

Zanc then smirked. "I haven't been as excited in many years as I currently was.." he panted slowly. Lucas stopped and stare at Zanc.

"You were as much of monsters as they say you were.." Lucas caught his breath. Leaving a smirk on his face, he spoke, "I am all fired up for battle!!" he finished, while Zanc looked at him.

"We shall fight until one of us remained!" Zanc loudly spoken. Continuing the fight, Lucas began to use his secret: Fire Roar. Using this move, Lucas. .h.i.t Maru and Zanc with a powerful blow and sent them flying backwards. The Two Bastions fell to the ground with a smile on his face. Lucas stared at them.

"I-I am defeated.." Zanc admitted. "We are defeated.." he continued, acknowledging Lucas' victory. For his defeat of the Two Bastions, Lucas received cheering and being applauded, putting him in the lead for the Fire Cla.s.s.

Everyone was in amazement at his strength. Yet, out of nowhere, a sinister voice rang out from somewhere in the audience. "You consider this G.o.dly Potential? Ms. Lyns, White Day High seems to be rather careless with their judgment."
