134 Emma's Personal Assistant 2

"Ah ... no, I don't. The clinic is only given to senior doctors like Natan. I'm just an a.s.sistant to those senior doctors," Atila said with a laugh.

Emma started to like this personal a.s.sistant Therius had given her. Atila had a relaxed appearance and a pleasant att.i.tude. This woman had black hair, which she fas.h.i.+oned into a practical bun above her head, like what Emma often did to her own hair. Atila was also quite attractive, and she had a genuinely happy smile.

They went up to the fifth floor and walked through several rooms before arriving at Emma's.

"You slept for 70 hours after Sir Therius brought you to the s.h.i.+p. You were having physical and mental exhaustion, and rest was the only thing you needed to recover, so I let you sleep. I hope that you have rested enough and feel better now."

"I do feel better. Thank you. I heard that it was you who took care of me," Emma said.

"That's right. Well, Sir Therius asked me personally. So, of course, I would be glad to be of help, Your Highness."

The door to Emma's room opened, but the girl did not immediately enter. She was standing by the doorway and looked at Atila with a surprised look.

"Therius told you who I am?" asked Emma.

"That's right," Atila responded. "We should talk inside."

"Hmm ..." Emma took Atila's advice and entered her room.

Once she was inside, she just noticed now that this room was actually very beautiful. It was quite s.p.a.cious with a nice bed, a small lounge area with a comfortable sofa for relaxing, and a few shelves filled with nice clothes stacked.

And oh ... if she sat on that sofa, she could see the view of outer s.p.a.ce from the huge transparent window. If she turned off the lights while she was sitting there, Emma would feel like she was in outer s.p.a.ce, drifting among the stars.

It was breathtaking.

"Nice view, huh?" Atila asked with a smile. "This is one of the best rooms on the s.h.i.+p. A princess deserves a place no less than this."

"How about you?" asked Emma.

"Every high-ranking crew has their own room, but the size is small. While ordinary staff has to share rooms. On this s.h.i.+p, there is also a special room for sleeping long term. It contains some sleeping pods for guests who just want to sleep for several months because they feel bored on the s.h.i.+p. "

"I see." Emma nodded.

"Please sit down, Your Highness. We will discuss your schedule for the next month," Atila explained. "Having a schedule is very important for us because we don't get daytime and nighttime on this s.h.i.+p. Our biological clock would be messed up if we don't manage it properly. Later, we will check if the schedule works, and we can continue using it for next month, or if we need to change anything."

Emma then sat on the sofa and watched Atila took out a tablet from her pocket.

"I will take Your Highness around the s.h.i.+p and show you everything. We will see the bridge, the lounge and communal rooms for socializing, the entertainment room, the engine room, the clinic, the meeting room, and also a study room for you to learn from your private teachers."

"Can't I just study here?" asked Emma.

"You can, but if we do everything in your room, then you won't go out at all. You need to walk out and not cooped up in your room all the time. Remember, six months is a long time."

"Hmm .. okay," Emma said.

"You will learn from three different private teachers. I will teach you about the Akkadian system and culture. Later, a person named Anddara will teach you about technology and history, and Sir Therius himself will teach you about the royal family and government affairs."

"Therius? I don't want him to be my teacher ..." Emma snapped.

"Uhmm ... You should not refuse this arrangement. Sir Therius is a very busy person, yet, he is willing to spend his time every day teaching you ... I don't think there is a better teacher than him in matters of the royal family and government affairs."

Emma frowned and looked at Atila fixedly. "Do you know who Therius is?"

Atila smiled sweetly and nodded. "I have the honor of knowing who he really is. I feel very proud to be able to share the s.h.i.+p with the future king and queen of Akkadia."

Emma coughed when she heard Atila's words.

Ugh ... I'm not the future queen of Akkadia, she growled inwardly.

She really didn't think Therius appointing himself to be her teacher was something he did out of his kindness and consideration, or that if she must be grateful for it.

She suspected that the sc.u.mmy prince only used it as an excuse to get close to Emma, despite denying that he was interested in her.

"Shameless..." Emma muttered under her breath.

"What did you say, Your Highness?"

"Nothing." Emma rolled her eyes. She looked around her room and she agreed that even though it was beautiful, she better not spend all her time here.

Inwardly, Emma felt grateful that the heartless prince did not try to lock her up and limit her movements. She could not imagine if she had to stay in this room all the time and could only access limited s.p.a.ces.

Ugh, just see. If he dares to limit my movements, I won't cooperate with him, Emma decided.

"Okay, Your Highness, now let's discuss your schedule." Atila showed Emma her tablet.

"Uhm... please just call me Emma. I don't feel comfortable with honorifics. Besides, I don't think it's wise to call me Your Highness. Other people might overhear you," Emma waved her hand and made a sign so Atila would stop calling her Princess and Your Highness.

She would never get used to it anyway. She never planned to marry Therius in the first place.
