127 This Is Not A Dream

"My name is Haoran Maximillian Lee."

"I want to go on a date with you in Paris."

"Tonight, you'll sleep in my room, so I can watch over you."

"I want to get you used to living like a Lee."

"Hey, Stardust! I love you."

"A man should have a bucket list, don't you think? It'd be nice to see 24 sunsets with you one day."

"In the event I die, I don't want to be buried in a grave. I want it to be a tree. Just bury me in a garden and plant a nice tree on the top of my grave. That way, I can be useful."

Emma shook her head over and over again.

"No, Haoran... Stop talking about death, please. You can't die ... You're still so young. It's not fair ...!" Emma screamed.

She immediately opened her eyes and woke up with her body trembling and her chest panting.

Emma had a dream. She and Haoran were drifting in outer s.p.a.ce, holding hands. Around them were billions of stars that formed galaxies and nebulae. Haoran called her name Stardust and repeated everything he said to her in the past.

And he ended his words by talking about his funeral. He didn't want to be buried in a grave. He wanted it to be a tree.

Emma screamed as Haoran was talking about death. She covered her ears and refused to hear anything more.

And then she woke up.

Emma held her palpitating chest and tried to calm her breathing down. Her panting slowly subsided as her brain began to take control.

That was just a dream. It was not real.

Emma took a deep breath and began to observe her surroundings. She did not recognize the room she was in.

Was she at Grandma Lin's apartment?

Hmm.. no.

Wait, was this Haoran's room? No.. no... she would recognize their room since she just decorated it with a new couch where she and Haoran would spend a lot of time reading and cuddling.

So... the hospital?

"Oh .. Haoran!"

Instantly Emma remembered that Haoran was in a coma at the hospital, and his condition was critical.

She hurriedly threw the blanket covering her body and climbed down from the bed.

"Ahhh ..." Emma was stunned when she realized she was wearing an unfamiliar light blue outfit. This outfit was like a simple dress with straps at the waist. The material felt very smooth. She liked how comfortable it was wrapping her body.

Who changed her clothes?

Where was this?

She looked around once more in confusion.

She was in a white room. The design was minimalist and futuristic. It looked really comfortable with a nice bed and a small lounge for relaxing. To her right was a huge transparent window, showing an amazing sight of the dark sky adorned with billions of stars.

Subconsciously Emma approached the window and pressed her palms on the gla.s.s. She stared outside with a dazzled expression.

She must still be dreaming. In her dream, she and Haoran went into outer s.p.a.ce. Haoran called her Stardust with a broad smile. He told her he loved her. And, finally, he asked to be buried with a tree.

Where is Haoran? Emma's mind was raging with questions.

Emma saw a comfortable pair of slippers in the corner of the room. She immediately wore it and walked towards the door to look for Haoran.

When she opened the door, she was stunned because she did not recognize the place. In front of her door, there was a long hallway entirely in white with many doors on either side.

Was she at the hotel? Was this not a dream??

She sauntered through the corridor and tried to open the doors one by one, but none would open. Emma continued walking to the end of the hallway. She finally saw a door with several b.u.t.tons that looked like an elevator.

She immediately pressed all b.u.t.tons, and the elevator door opened. Emma went inside and examined the various b.u.t.tons on the wall.

There was some text written there but she couldn't read them.

Emma's heart raced. She already realized that this was not a dream.

Then, where was she now?

She pressed all the b.u.t.tons on the wall and waited. The elevator was moving somewhere. Emma tried to exert all of her memories to remember what happened.

The last thing she recalled was... Haoran came out of the operating room in critical condition, and he was in a coma for two days. The doctors said that they had done their best. However, they did not know whether Haoran would ever wake up or not, considering his brain injury was very severe.

Emma then went to the Continental Building to look for Therius to ask for help. Therius finally promised to help Haoran if ... Emma managed to defeat him.

The prince would even admit defeat if Emma could just graze him.

"Did I win?" Emma asked herself.

The elevator stopped, and the door opened. Emma quickly held the door and looked out to find out where she was.

Hmmm.. this floor looked so empty. There was n.o.body here.

She let the elevator door closed and crossed her arms while waiting for the elevator to move again. Then the elevator stopped, and the door opened. Emma held the elevator door and looked out. On her right, there was a hallway that led to several rooms with open doors. She also saw three people in gray uniforms were walking together and talking.

Emma immediately got out of the elevator and hurried over to talk to the people.

"Excuse me, where is this?" She waved her hand, trying to attract their attention.

The three people walking toward the lounge immediately turned their heads and looked at Emma with furrowed brows. They heard her voice, but they did not understand her words.

"Who is she? Do you understand what she is saying?"

"I don't know. Is she not an Akkadian? She doesn't seem to speak our language."

Emma, who understood their words, was instantly shaken to the core. She widened her eyes in surprise and looked around. She approached them and shook the shoulders of one of them and asked in Akkadian language.

"Where is this???

"We're still in the Coralia Intergalactic s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p. We are going home to Akkadia."

Emma pressed her hand to her chest and tried to calm herself down.

So... Therius was taking her back after all.

This was kidnapping!

She was immediately filled with rage.
