"The girls said, they will vote us as the Prom King and Queen. Do you want to go?" asked Emma. They had not discussed about going to this event because they thought it was not important.

But after seeing how her female friends were excited about all this, Emma began to feel interested. She had never been to any dance, and from her friends' enthusiasm, she felt that this event would be very fun.

Haoran, who was about to say no, immediately changed his answer when he saw Emma's eyes sparkling. "Of course, we'll go!"

"Ah ... really?" Emma smiled broadly. After she made sure there was no one around them, she kissed Haoran's cheek.

"I have money to buy you a tie," Emma said, trying to refuse.

"That's not it, we're married now. So my money is your money too. You can buy whatever you like. Get the dress or anything you want," Haoran said patiently. He pressed Emma's fingers to keep the card and diverted her attention by asking something else. "Uhm .. I have to go to work now. Will you go home with Alex as usual?"

During this time, Emma often went home with Alex who was picked up by his family driver because their homes were close, while Haoran would ride in David or Dinh's car since they lived in the same neigborhood. After he changed his clothes at home, Haoran would drive his Porsche to his father's office. He still didn't want to show off his wealth to other students in school.

"Alex will have to retake his Math test today," Emma said. "I'll go home by myself."

"Oh .. why don't you come with me, then? I will ask David to stop by your apartment," Haoran said.

In this case, he did admit defeat to Therius. His friend was a powerful telemancer who had reached the highest level at such a young age. Not only was a telemancer rare, but it was very difficult to reach the level of Therius now.

He practiced very diligently and had perfected his abilities since he was in the academy. According to Xion, once his best friend ascended the throne, he would become a very powerful and feared king. He could easily influence people to follow his order.

If Xion was himself, he could see himself being influenced by Therius the same way he influenced many people. Ugh, Therius would have no problem forcing him to accept the position of king advisor or prime minister.

Therius could easily search for the grandest building in Singapore and go in there and order the hotel staff to give him and Xion the most luxurious accommodation in the building.

That was why, now, they were standing inside the most luxurious penthouse in Singapore, looking at the city from the height of the 50th floor.

While Xion looked enthusiastic about what he saw, Therius did not show any expression at all. For him, the city was quite backward and boring. He did not want to linger on earth.

"I want to go out and check the city," said Xion. "Do you want to come along?"

Therius nodded. He didn't want to go to check the city, but he wanted to find Emma immediately.

"We should find some new clothes from this planet," Xion warned. "Our fas.h.i.+on is rather unique compared to those other people, I hope you realize that."

He wore simple gray clothes, but the model was somewhat different from the clothes earth people were wearing. Therius' clothes were more luxurious and intricate, and certainly more interesting.
