Chapter 1288: Sea Valley Tea

Ever since the City Lord of Raging Waves City handed w.a.n.g Ce the job of establis.h.i.+ng the Raging Waves Guard three years ago, he had been bothered by the issue of Creation Master resources.

w.a.n.g Ce went to the Creation Master a.s.sociation often to a.s.sign jobs and had also recruited some Cla.s.s 2 and 3 Creation Masters.

However, tens of Cla.s.s 2 Creation Masters and two Cla.s.s 3 Creation Masters were not enough.

He occasionally recruited a Cla.s.s 4 Creation Master, but they demanded such high prices that w.a.n.g Ce could not accept it. The Raging Waves Guard needed to be fair when dispensing resources.

During the active period of the dimensional rift, every Raging Waves Guard laid their lives on the line to protect Raging Waves City. Every one of them was a hero who deserved equal credit.

If the Cla.s.s 4 Creation Masters demanded too high of a price, w.a.n.g Ce would be unable to give every Raging Waves Guard a Bronze/Epic fey. This would cause the Bronze/Epic feys to become meaningless.

w.a.n.g Ce also tried seeking out top and veteran factions like Coiling Dragons Valley and Connected Beast Park, who had Creation Master roles.

However, he once again hit a wall due to the cost.

Not long ago, the Indigo Azure Guard Captain Feng Dong had called and let it slip how the Indigo Azure Guards had been able to produce hundreds of Bronze/Epic Hot Spring Snails during the active period of the dimensional rift.

When w.a.n.g Ce threatened to expose Feng Dongs dirty laundry on Star Web, he finally learned about the deal between the Indigo Azure Guard and Sky City.

He also learned that Sky City only needed Law Source Crystals but not Radiance dollars or any other precious resources. This was unsurprising as Indigo Azure City was a large level below Raging Waves City and would not be able to afford resources that Raging Waves City could not afford.

Hence, w.a.n.g Ce immediately took the initiative to make Lin Yuans acquaintance.

Lin Yuan guessed what w.a.n.g Ce was thinking. This was why he mentioned Sky City working with Indigo Azure City and Ascending Dragon City. He wanted w.a.n.g Ce to know that if Raging Waves City was willing, they could also work with Sky City.

Naturally, w.a.n.g Ce understood what Lin Yuan meant.

He waved and said, Valued guests, why dont we head inside to have a taste of Raging Waves Citys specialty, Sea Valley Tea?

Lin Yuan smiled and replied, Ive long heard about the Sea Valley Tea Tree in Furious Raging Sea Gorge. I heard that its taste is marvelous. I must fill my stomach with this new taste!

The Mother of Bloodbath suddenly appeared next to Lin Yuan. It went wherever Lin Yuan went.

It did not like socializing and had not said a word during the journey.

Although he was the Captain of Raging Waves Citys Guards, Qi Heng was a main veteran member of one of Raging Waves Citys native factions.

The two of them often met at big events. It was considered gentlemanly for them to help each other out with small favors.

However, they were not close enough for Qi Heng to look for him immediately after the Sea Bliss Clan won the blood pact ultimate fight to share his joy.

Since Sky City had helped the Sea Bliss Clan to win their blood pact ultimate fight against Connected Beast Park, the Sea Bliss Clan would have to pay a high price. It was possible that all of the Sea Bliss Clan belonged to Sky City now.

w.a.n.g Ce wanted to talk about the collaboration with Lin Yuan, but he also wanted to glean information from Lin Yuan to see if he was planning to take all of the Sea Bliss Clans resources out of Raging Waves City.

If so, Raging Waves Citys finances and prosperity would be severely affected.

Given the nature of the Sea Bliss Clans resources, they would definitely have to be s.h.i.+fted to another seaside city.

Although Raging Waves City was crowned the number one seaside city, other seaside cities like Sea City and Icy Waves City were looming in the shadows.

If the Sea Bliss Clans resources were transplanted into Sea City or Icy Waves City, Raging Waves City could lose its t.i.tle.

This was the last thing that w.a.n.g Ce wanted.

Just as Qi Heng was about to step into the house as well, the Mother of Bloodbath turned and obstructed his path.

It pointed at an area not far off where some Raging Waves Guards were training and said, Go and stand there. When the City Lord is done with his discussion, Ill come and fetch you. Dont run off, and dont call anyone to leak any news. I will be watching you.

The Mother of Bloodbath took a tentative sip, and its eyes immediately lit up.

The taste of the Sea Valley Tea pleased the Mother of Bloodbath greatly, and it quickly took more gulps.
