Chapter 349 - Alone and Craziness

Shadow appeared inside a forest spa.r.s.ely covered in snow.

"It's kinda lonely when you're all alone"

He mumbled to himself and started getting busy by making some food for him to have some buffs before moving out.

And there was silence around him except for the sound of the oil dripping onto the fire and the occasional sound of monsters roaring in the distance.

"d.a.m.n you!!!"

Then suddenly from out of nowhere, Shadow started yelling out of frustration.

"Dammit, its seriously boring as h.e.l.l without them"

Kree!

Kree!

Suddenly a group of goblins led by a large Kobold suddenly appeared at the periphery of the camp, and the bunch of monsters are currently staring at Shadow with greedy looks on their faces with their drools hanging from their mouths.

Shrieeek!

The goblins started screeching at him, trying to taunt him while wearing mocking looks on their faces.

"Koraaa! Shut up!"

Shadow stood up in anger and unleashed a barrage of flying knives towards the goblins!

Of course, it wasn't a skill, it was just an ordinary attack that dealt a good amount of damage.

Twak! Twak! Twak!

""Screech!""

Some goblins got struck in their bodies and some even on their head, and the resulting outcome made them screech in anger as they charged out of the bushes towards Shadow, brandis.h.i.+ng their wooden clubs and rusted weapons.

"Bring it on, you green b.u.g.g.e.rs! I was just getting bored!"

Shadow roared in madness as he pulled out a large hammer and also charged towards them head on!

"Koraaa! Eat my hammer!"

Because the goblins inside this monster infested forest are one of the weakest monsters here, Shadow didn't have a hard time confronting them as he would just slap them away with the hammer in his hands, but he didn't let his guard down because of that as the real threats here aren't the goblins, but the two hobgoblins that hadn't joined the fray yet and were just standing there, watching them.

"You wanna just watch!? Then eat my Hammer, you b.a.s.t.a.r.ds!"

Swoos.h.!.+

Shadow felt that he was getting looked down upon by monsters right now because they didn't even bother joining the fray and just watched with disdaining looks on their faces, and so out of anger, he just threw everything out of the window and started rampaging like a madman.

Bang!

The hammer struck the face of one of the hobgoblins who didn't manage to dodge in time because it wasn't expecting that the human would suddenly turn its attention to them and attack them when he was being besieged by their goblin goons!

Shadow summoned his pet rabbit and quickly commanded it.

"Arodan, use Lightning Blast!"

"Aro~dan!"

Bzzzt!

A powerful black lightning appeared out of Aron and blasted towards the two Hobgoblins, and then suddenly, the lightning jumped to the nearest goblin, then to the next goblin and it only stopped after electrocuting the fifth goblin before dissipating.

The five goblins died with charred bodies while the two Hobgoblins are paralyzed in a stunned state, allowing Shadow to clean up the rest of the goblins.

Meanwhile.

"What the? This human is nuts, he's creating so much commotion that other monsters would certainly get attracted towards them"

Ragnar who had been watching him since day one suddenly got confused because he knew how cautious this human was, and now, the said human just threw the word caution out of the window, and started getting crazy!

"This human is certainly nuts, is it because they would just come back to life when they die so they aren't scared of death?"

"Are there also other humans like him in the main continent?"

Ragnar's own monologue stopped there but when he thought if there are more humans like Shadow in the main continent, he couldn't help but s.h.i.+ver in fright.

"That's quite scary, and not only that, this human called Shadow even contracted with an offspring of the Empyrean Rabbit tribe"

But when he thought of the human contracting with an Empyrean Rabbit, Ragnar couldn't help but chuckle imagining the faces of those hateful b.a.s.t.a.r.ds of the Empyrean Rabbit race when they learn of this.

"But I wonder who's child that rabbit is though"

Then Ragnar suddenly started laughing with a devilish grin, and truly showing the real characteristic that Dragons are truly a scary bunch!

"This human would certainly get into trouble if those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds learns that one of their children is contracted with a human, but I wonder, if this time, will they be joining the fight against the Sea Tribe?"

"But the prerequisite is for that rabbit to reach its juvenile years, and only then would those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds would be able to sense it, by then...it would be up to that human to convince the Empyrean Rabbit tribe to join the war"

Then Ragnar looked into the distance and mumbled, "The smell of chaos and destruction is now permeating through the air of the land. War will be soon be upon us, and I hope this time, we'll once again triumphed against those dogs of the G.o.d of Chaos and Destruction"

The sound of weapons clas.h.i.+ng against each other sounded, and Shadow who is now holding a huge b.a.s.t.a.r.d sword is kneeling on one knee on the ground with his sword above him blocking the Hobgoblin's sword.

"[Overpowering Shout!]" roared Shadow as he activated a skill that allowed him to overpower the Hobgoblin and sent it reeling backwards as it was struck with dizziness.

"[Furious Charge]!"

Shadow quickly got up and activated another skill as a red hue covered his entire body as he charged forwards and slammed his body against the Hobgoblin, knocking the monster back on the ground.

"[Cleave]!"

And Shadow followed up with another skill as he slashed his sword downwards towards the monster, consuming its last remaining health and finally killing it.

"Haa...haa...haa"

Shadow started panting due to his fatigue as he knelt on one knee while using his sword to support his body.

"The Hobgoblins in this place are too abnormally strong"

After that, Shadow carried his body and rested against a nearby tree, taking as much rest as he could as he also started eating some meat jerky because the food he was cooking earlier got destroyed during the ensuing battle.
