Chapter 332 - A changed man.

Michael came out of the haunted house with a pale face and a pair of shaking legs, followed by Amanda who's looking at him from behind while laughing to herself.

"S-s.h.i.+t! Motherf*ckers!"

"Hey man! Did you really just punched a couple of workers inside!?" two young men around their early twenties and a girl suddenly came over towards them while smiling.

Michael and Amanda looked at them, and the former who was bending with his hands on his knees raised an eyebrow and said, "So, what's it to you?"

The three didn't seem to mind Michael's behavior as they just smiled and laughed to themselves and even gave Michael a thumbs up, and Michael quickly noticed some of the haunted house workers glaring at him, and he could only smile at their att.i.tudes helplessly.

"That was awesome man! You should have seen how fl.u.s.tered the workers were!"

"Yeah, we were hearing everything that's happening inside, and it was f*cking hilarious!"

"And because of what you did, the attraction is temporarily closed because they don't have any workers suitable to replace those "victim" of yours"

"Oh look, it seems you two are getting kicked out soon"

When the girl said that, four heads quickly turned towards the direction of where the girl is looking to, and they saw two people dressed in security guards uniform heading towards them, along with an employee of the haunted attraction.

Michael recognized one of them and couldn't help but smile.

"Sir, due to the incident that you had cause inside the haunted house. The management had decided to kick you out of the park and ban you and your companion entry to the amus.e.m.e.nt park for a month. Refuse this and we will be forced to call the authorities" one of the security guards said the moment they arrived after giving them a look.

The security guard look stern but his fellow coworker surely wasn't as he quickly felt uncomfortable the moment he recognized who Michael was.

"Alright, we can leave on our own"

Before Michael could open his mouth and say something, Amanda had beaten him to it as she's probably afraid that Michael might do something stupid with his current bearing.

"Hey man, good luck out there!"

The three youngsters said their goodbyes and went to another attraction, laughing to themselves.

Michael and Amanda started making their way towards the exit of the park, but when Michael was about to pa.s.s by the other security guard who's been silent till now, he stopped and looked at the guy.

"I didn't expect you to be working as a security guard now. I guess people do change huh?"

"W-what?"

The person in question was quite startled and didn't know what to say.

"Nothing, see ya!"

Michael continued walking forward and just waved with his back towards them.

"You know that guy, Jules?" the older guard said as the two of them walked a few meters behind Michael and Amanda.

"Yeah, somewhat. Do you still remember that story I told you before Uncle?" Jules said, feeling a bit complicated inside as he doesn't want to bring up that humiliating story from before.

"You mean about you and your goons getting beat up which got you all sent to the hospital..by a lone man?"

The older guard who was actually the man's uncle quickly remembered the story that his nephew had told him before, resulting in a huge change happening to the young man.

"Yeah, he's that guy. He beat all of us even when we were ganging upon him, and he wouldn't just go down no matter how hard we attack him, and remembering it now, the feeling back then was like kids fighting an a.d.u.l.t, and the a.d.u.l.t was just playing around with us before he got tired of it"

Jules laughed bitterly to himself, and his body even s.h.i.+vered when he remembered that night.

His uncle wasn't even mad when he finally learned about the man who sent his nephew to the hospital, and instead, he felt grateful and at the same time bitter about it.

After all, the man sent a gravely injured Jules to the hospital, but at the same time, he was also the reason behind the change that occurred to the young man who had finally decided to abandon his dark past and live a normal life like the others.

"Well, in the end, you finally came to your senses because of that. G.o.d, you were such a troublesome b.a.s.t.a.r.d back then"

His uncle laughed and gave Jules a loud smack on his back, and Jules can only scratch the back of his head, feeling embarra.s.sed.

Meanwhile.

Amanda and Michael finally left the park and currently making their way to the parking lot.

"It seems that the other guard recognizes you. Do you know him?" Amanda said after a while.

Michael smiled and looked at the sky blue sky and said, "Yeah, he's a member, or should I say once a member of the Blackskull? I remember that I once got into a scuffle with their group one night and gave them a beating"

Amanda looked at him and gave a scoff and said, "Hmmph! You should thank Jenny that those jerks didn't make a huge mess out of it"

Michael just gave a soft snort, "More like I built up a reputation because of it, and anyone who's at least or somehow related to the underground world would have known what I look like by now, and didn't want to cause trouble with me, and besides, I only got into a scuffle with minor members and didn't really cause any trouble with their businesses"

Michael is somewhat right, the Blackskull didn't make a big deal out of it because they thought it was just a scuffle between their members and someone who knows how to fight, but at the same time, they also grew wary of him because someone who could fight like that certainly wouldn't be an ordinary person and at the same time, a person worthy enough to be recruited into their circle.

But when they learned that he was somewhat related to the daughter of one of the branch executives of War Angel, they quickly started targeting him.

So Jenny could only ask her father to interfere with it because after all, he did owe Michael once or twice for saving her.

After that small episode, Michael and Amanda got in their car and drove away.

Michael drove towards her house and dropped her off there.

"So we're leaving tonight?" Amanda said as she leaned on the window looking at Michael.

"Yeah, so pack up your things. We'll stay there for at least a week, and don't forget your gaming helmet" replied Michael while smiling at her.

"Alright, drive safe then, and don't forget me pick me up, alright?"

"How could I forget?"

Then Michael drove away as Amanda watched the car disappear along the road before she turned around made her way inside her house.

"Did you have fun?"

Amanda looked up and saw Jenny leaning on the door with her arms crossed, smiling at her along with a chocolate stain on her lips.

"Yeah, I have to tell you something inside"

"Oh, what is it?"

"I'll tell you inside, and wipe out that chocolate on your lips, geez!"
