Still a little tired but I've already rested enough. Right now I'm talking to Erik and giving him the basic situation that Artemis told me about. I also gave him her warning.

"Well I guess it's natural for her to know considering everything we do is for their amus.e.m.e.nt right. Anyways I guess you should know whats happening as well. You see we need to move our base of operations, our house is great but it's already over capacity from all the people we brought back last night. Also some other groups have expressed a desire to join up with us because we have access to weapons and transport. Me and Max were talking about taking over and fortifying the casino, with all the s.p.a.ce we could repurpose it would be a great spot. The only thing is."

"The rats or ratmen right."

"Yup, they are swarming all over downtown, now the lamia from detroit are coming over I wasn't sure if we could take the casino. So I've been looking for groups that could help us and am currently in the process of having two well, different groups join up."

"Different how?"

"A pack of spiders lead by a tier 1 wolf spider and a colony of fire ants lead by a tier 1 queen."

"Huh?"

I heard him correctly right? Spiders and ants?

"Well to be fair you have a snake and alligator as a part of your entourage don't you. Shadow got me into contact with the wolf spider and the fire ant queen actually contacted me over the forum. Right now were in the middle of talking it over to see if we could cooperate. Especially if we really can take over the casino we could slowly retake the downtown area, with all that s.p.a.ce there is no reason we couldn't share with a few groups of animals right. Also remember that not all humans are good in combat and we could use the extra fighters. The spiders are getting bigger and more dangerous so I would rather them on our team. As for the ants well even if that havent grown to a ma.s.sive size apparently their fighters are the size if small rats and there are more than one queen in a colony now. One on one they may be weak but if thousands of rat sized ants come at me I'm running for the hills so to speak."

I can only nod because what he is saying makes sense, on the other hand could we cooperate. Well I guess me, Frost, and Victor get along well enough but they both have companion nan.o.bots. I like to think even without them Frost would still be on my side but what about Victor. I guess I might need to get him a female friend or two.

"Hey, Hunter you listening?"

"What? Sorry was absorbing all that information. Do you think we can actually cooperate? What about the others."

"Haven't told them yet. Only me, you, and Max know about the possibility of teaming up with these groups. Besides it's not like we have to decide tonight. We still plan on hunting down the goblins, but instead of gnolls we are gonna hunt ratmen instead. Although most of our efforts will be on exterminating the goblins, they are too dangerous to be left alone and expanded their population. In the meantime my group will work with the spiders to see if cooperation is possible. The fire ant queen is still considering the prospects. Both leaders still only have basic intelligence of around an eight year old, but they are constantly getting smarter. I hope the queen will decided its in her best interest to join up with us."

"What if she decides against joining?"

"Well I won't be making any trouble for her. Our group wouldn't be able to defend against a full out a.s.sault of tens of thousands of ants. Luckily the large soldiers can't be constantly produced because of the ma.s.sive amount of energy it takes to nurture one. Those would be their elites and even though the smaller ants can still be a problem their defence and strength are much weaker."

"How do you know all that?"

"Intelligence of an eight year old right, I just sent over a few sweets and she willingly told me some information."

Why does that make you sound like a pedifile, wait with that grin on your face. Is Erik a lolicon? Is he into monster girls? To be fair I have a draconian addicted to my fluids and apparently the lamia are on their way to **** me. Still Erik's grin is a little disturbing.

"Hey why are you looking at me like that?"

"No, nothing. As you were saying, your gonna hunt with the spiders. About how big is the spider pack?"

"They have about three hundred spiders, most are wolf spiders and daddy long legs. Some other species mixed in but are the minority. The leader is the only tier 1 but they have several others that are close to tier one, in that above seven systems upgraded category. Apparently their called type 3s."

"Type 3s?"

"Ya, to make it easier to say people started giving the different stages the name types. Zero to two systems is type 1, three to six systems is type 2 , seven to full tier 1 is type 3. So on and so forth. It's easier than constantly say oh ya I have so many systems upgraded, instead I could just say I'm a type 3 and they would know about how strong I am."

"How strong are you by the way?"

"I just need another four systems and I will fully tier up. Although my bloodline I got from Shadow has only gave me one mutation, after hearing about the situation that occurs during the full tier up I hope the bloodline gives some extra benefits."

"I just hope the pain won't drive me crazy."

"To late for that little brother, ha ha ha. Don't worry about it I'm sure we will all be fine."

"What's your bloodline called anyways? Normal tarantula bloodline?"

"Ha, ha so funny. No Shadow gave me the Dark Arachnid bloodline, using some evo points I was able to find out it can evolve like yours. So I'm fairly optimistic about my future strength."

"Wait we can use evo points to find out about our bloodlines?"

"Ya in the information section. The section includes tons of new info now that the game has fully started."

Huh, I guess I need to go over the system to find out the new features.

"Hang on a second the queen is messaging me. You busy right now?"

"Nope, why whats up?"

"The queen wants to enter the battle arena with use to understand if we can help each other. She wants to do a swarm battle, she will bring a hundred of her elites and I should bring ten people. She is also inviting the spiders who have already agreed."

"Battle arena? Oh right it is a new function after the game started, whats swarm mode?"

"Basically you have a team fight an increasing number of enemies. The longer you stay alive and the higher your kills the more rewards you get. Only thing is you have to pay to play so to speak, one hundred evo points per play. Unless you get past ten waves you can't make a profit."

"Anyone make it to round ten yet?"

"A few, but considering the size of the whole planet, not many at all. Besides this is more about us working together instead of trying to win a bunch of rewards. Although it shouldn't be impossible to get past the tenth wave."

"Sure, I wasn't doing anything tell we went hunting anyways, who else will be joining us."

"Max, Sandra, Derek, I don't know about the others. I'm going to go see who's available. We start in an hour got it."

"Ya, I'll grab a snack."

"Cool, see ya soon."

I wonder who else will be joining us? This is actually a pretty important event if you think about how our future interactions between our group and the two others are going to be based on how well it goes. No pressure or anything right.
