Chapter 39: No Need For That Mrs Hao, I'll See Myself Out!

Ni Yuexi was in a daze after a medium sized black handbag was brought forward by one of the female employee whom she had bowed to uncountable times.

"Thanks, Mrs Hao!"

"Miss Ni...I'm sorry...I meant to say Director Ni...You didn't have to be more formal with me...let me help you carry you bag to your office."

Hao Hanzhi blushed a bright red, she was one of the female staff who needed every little thing to be done by a contract worker.

Ni Yuexi could see envy, discomfort in the eyes of those that she considered as senior colleagues at work. She then turned to look at the robust woman she had been speaking to, whose weight was as a result of sedentary activity and a second pregnancy.

"No need for that, Mrs Hao. I'll see myself out!"

The place that she had spent months in, suddenly became very suffocating to her. Without a backwards glance at former co-workers, Ni Yuexi raced out of the office as though her life was being threatened.
