"What is taking Director Ni so long?!"

The director of human resources turned to face Xun Yanwu as though he knew the whereabouts of Ni Yuexi.

"I'm not sure, Director Lang! She could be taking a big one in the restroom."

Lang Shangkun's face turned beet red as he heard what Xun Yanwu said in relations to the whereabouts of the new director. While those of Xun Yanwu remained unchanged as he faced the annoying man in his front.

"That's inappropriate! You shouldn't say such a thing about a director of Ziaomi! I'm sure Chairman Zheng would be disappointed to hear you speak so loosely about Director Ni!"

"Here we go! Bringing Chairman Zheng into a matter that has nothing to do with him! How I wish that I could slap his rotten mouth! What a lousy hypocrite!"

Zheng Shanyu's secretary refrained from speaking his mind and chose instead to give an apology to Lang Shangkun.

"My action is in no way reflective of Chairman Zheng, I apologize for stepping out of line. Please do not let Chairman know of what I said in a moment of carelessness!"

Xun Yanwu lowered his head to beg the other man whose fat cheeks jiggled from the perverse joy he derived from making those beneath him suffer in humiliation. His eyes sparkled with delight.
