The three entered into a wide s.p.a.cious room, desks and chairs neatly arranged in a circular fas.h.i.+on. The cleaning crew were tidying up when they saw who walked into the place they had just cleaned up.

"Good morning, Director Ni!"

"Good morning."

The five man cleaning crew made up of three men and two men in faded blue jumpsuit, gave a bow in greeting to the directors and Xun Yanwu. They were greeted back by Ni Yuexi while Lang Shangkun dismissed them with a wave of his hand, as Xun Yanwu silently watched what took place.

"Director Ni, how do you like your office?"

Lang Shangkun turned to face the woman beside him in antic.i.p.ation.

"It's okay, Director Lang."

Not knowing what else to say, Ni Yuexi continued to look around the place that was now her office.

"I will place a work order once I get to my office for your name plate on the door and desk. Feel free to make needed adjustments."

Lang Shangkun gave a somewhat superficial smile as he spoke to Ni Yuexi. The aide of Zheng Shangyu who tagged along kept a safe distance from the other two.

"The desk on the other side can serve as your work desk."

The director of human resources pointed to the high table of dark brown wood which stood out from the rest, as it was positioned away from the others, more towards the wall mid way from the door. Without any warning, Ni Yuexi felt her stomach cramping. The pain almost made her howl out in misery.

"Is there a restroom close by? I need to use one right now!"
