Chapter 94 - Array Within Array!

Billowing flames raced straight towards the Sky Saber Life and Death Game.

In the blink of an eye, many clouds at the border were evaporated by the flames. The flames' temperature was simply astounding. The most important thing was the five chains, which seemed to have a tremendous weight behind them. The entire array, bound by the five chains, appeared to be divided into six segments.

Inside the grand array, there were some places which had been razed to the ground completely by the fire. At the sight of this, an anxious look appeared on the faces of Gu Hai’s men.

The crowd of anxious men quickly rushed back to the Dragon Turtle Palace.

Outside the Dragon Turtle Palace, Gu Hai was operating the grand array. Earlier, when the five chains sliced into the grand array, it was Gu Hai who controlled the thousands of sky sabers to crash into those chains, preventing them from ever touching the ground.

A somber look had taken over Gu Hai's entire face. As for the others, they too looked anxious.

"My Lord, this is Luo Tiange's Fire Dragon Lock, and it is terribly powerful! Luo Tiange has been relying on this magical tool to run amok in the Thousand Islands Seas for a century!" Scar informed Gu Hai, a deep frown on his brow.

Gu Hai, a gloomy look on his face, looked skyward.

Meanwhile, the criminals came back one after another, looking to Gu Hai with a worried expressions on their faces.

In the sky, cracks started to appear on some of the sky sabers. Apparently, the Fire Dragon Lock's power was too much; the Sky Sabers Life and Death Game could not hold for long.

"My Lord, what are we going to do? I have heard that Luo Tiange has destroyed a sect using this very Fire Dragon Lock. And the grand array which was activated to guard the sect also collapsed completely in the face of it!" Chen Tianshan said, looking worried.

The anxiety on Chen Tianshan's face mirrored the worries of the men present.

"Shut the h.e.l.l up, let my Lord respond on his own!" Gao Xianzhi interrupted Chen Tianshan with a shout. At this moment, morale had to be preserved, not questioned!

Gu Hai kept on looking at the sky with a gloomy expression on his face.

On another note, Meng Tai's eyes suddenly became more focused. He was finally able to see the garbage site inside the array. It was already ransacked and in a mess.

"Found it? f.u.c.k, Gu Hai found it! However, he should not have been able to break the barrier. However, such a big pit is quite obvious, it will definitely be found by Luo Tiange!" An anxious look crossed Meng Tai's face.

Walking back and forth, Meng Tai bent his head and looked at Feng Ling clasped in his arms.

"Feng Ling, you are tired, take a rest!" Meng Tai said in a light and comforting tone.

"I!" Feng Ling shook her head, but wasn't able to continue anymore.

Meng Tai lightly blew on Feng Ling's face. "You are tired, sleep, sleep for a while!"

Feng Ling was immediately hit with dizziness. She said in a daze, "I am feeling sleepy!"

"Sleep then!" Meng Tai said in a gentle tone.

"Mhmm!" Feng Ling gradually closed her eyes as if she needed to sleep.

Meng Tai quietly and slowly separated Feng Ling from his embrace, and softly laid her down.

On another peak, a hideous smile showed up on Luo Tiange's face. "Sky Sabers Life and Death Array sure is a pretty good array. That protective array of Six-Five Island's sect wasn't able to hold on so long under my Fire Dragon Lock. I want to see how long you can endure! Flames, rise!"

BOOM!

Dazzling fiery auras immediately burst forth from the Fire Dragon Lock, as if the chains weren't chains but volcanoes spewing lava, trying to melt the entire Sky Saber Life and Death Array.

More and more sky sabers began to break into pieces.

From inside, the sky appeared to have been covered in lava. The sky sabers could not hold on for much longer.

At the sight of this, an anxious look appeared on the faces of every former convict. Only Gu Hai  had no change in his expression. He kept on holding the weiqi board array source.

Slowly, about half of the clouds around the array had dissipated. Gu Hai's location was slowly revealed to everyone present.

Finally, everyone outside caught sight of Gu Hai.

Gu Hai, standing before the Dragon Turtle Palace, coldly gazed at the distant Luo Tiange. There was not the slightest bit of fear in his eyes.

"Hmph, I hate that look in your eyes! Fire Dragon Lock, rise for me!" Luo Tiange roared, his eyes wide with excitement.

BOOM!

The Fire Dragon Lock was pushed to the extreme. Its power doubled once again.

Numerous sky sabers immediately broke into pieces with loud bangs.

Immediately after, the sky sabers blocking one of the chains burst into pieces completely.

BOOM!

That chain was the first to fall to the ground, slicing the Sky Saber Life and Death Array in two. Billowing flames immediately razed everything in the vicinity to the ground. With flames reaching as high as the sky, the vicinity of that chain turned into an endless sea of flames.

"The array is broken! Gu Hai is finished!" Loud exclamations immediately rose outside the array.

Right at this moment, a silhouette suddenly rushed into the sea of flames.

That silhouette was astonis.h.i.+ngly fast. Amid that razing sea of flames, it was hard to see or hear anything clearly. A majority of onlookers could not clearly see who it was.

Only two people had a good look at the silhouette. 

One was the Ninth Young Master, who was outside the array. "Well! Meng Tai?" His eyes went wide with surprise.

As for the other, it was none other than Gu Hai!

"Came in finally!" Gu Hai's eyes flashed with antic.i.p.ation.

Luo Tiange controlled the Fire Dragon Lock to move towards Gu Hai.

Numerous sky sabers immediately rushed forth to block the Fire Dragon Lock. Billowing flames razed their way towards the Dragon Turtle Palace at the center, as if wanting to completely annihilate Gu Hai.

Luo Tiange also flew into the sky, his eyes flickering with pride and arrogance as an overwhelming amount of True Qi rushed into the Fire Dragon Lock at his back, continuing to burn the grand array.

"How long can you hold on? Hahaha, this array of yours is about to be completely broken, how long can you still hold on?" Luo Tiange laughed in disdain.

Gu Hai raised his head to look at Luo Tiange.

"You're so full of it. You still haven't broken the array, how would this bulls.h.i.+tting help you?" Gu Hai rebuked coldly.

"The array is soon to be broken! Once it is broken, I will send each and every one of you to h.e.l.l, unless you take Gu Hai down now! I will spare whoever takes Gu Hai down!" Luo Tiange stated aloud.

This was no different than instigating the men inside the array!

Gao Xianzhi, Chen Tianshan, Scar, and Shangguan Hen stood next to Gu Hai, preventing anyone from approaching. The former criminals only made a commotion for a short while before stop paying attention to Luo Tiange's proclamation.

Gu Hai coldly looked back at Luo Tiange, his gaze without an ounce of fear.

Gu Hai, while paying attention to Luo Tiange, was also paying attention to the garbage site. The Fire Dragon Lock breaking at that position was all in accordance with Gu Hai's calculations.

Suddenly, a burst of cracking sounds came from the vicinity of the garbage site.

Without further ado, Gu Hai waved his hand.

Suddenly, churning white mist once more emerged from the grand array, currently filled with flames everywhere. Once the mist appeared, all the blazing flames were completely covered by it.

In the blink of an eye, the huge fire was extinguished. The entire grand array recovered with astonis.h.i.+ng speed.

As soon as the billowing clouds appeared, the Fire Dragon Lock was completely pushed back. The grand array had appeared once more. More importantly, the clouds were denser than before and veiled the surroundings completely.

Luo Tiange's eyes bulged as a vacant look appeared on his face.

Countless onlooking cultivators also had a dumbfounded expressions on their faces for a moment.

"Luo Tiange fell into Gu Hai's plot? Impossible!"

"Luo Tiange breaking the array was just an illusion?"

The five giant whips struck on the array with a thunderous bang. However, the array remained strong nonetheless, and wasn't shaken even a tiny bit.

Luo Tiange's eyes turned red with anger. Sure, you can block my Fire Dragon Lock, but you have been playing me like a fool! Is Father so easy to fool?

"Gu Hai, you f.u.c.king b.a.s.t.a.r.d, I will kill you for sure!" Luo Tiange roared, burning with anger.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!...

The five chains continuously lashed down on the grand array, bursting forth with thunderous sounds of impact. The subsequent shockwaves were so strong that the ground in all directions was quaking loudly.

"That's enough, Luo Tiange. If you don't stop right now, don't blame me for not being polite!" Gu Hai's cold voice echoed from the vortex of clouds.

"Not going to be polite, come on then, come on! Don't hide like a turtle, come if you can!" Luo Tiange continued to whip the array furiously.

Suddenly, a deafening cry spread out from the grand array. "With such big strength, I can move a mountain! With the lofty quality, I am matchless in the world!"

A super huge Fang Tian Hua halberd appeared from the array. The Fang Tian Hua halberd immediately crashed down on the Fire Dragon Lock, swiftly and overbearingly.
