A total of four blades of light were fired out and Xian Yun was wounded. The explosion threw his figure up and he fell heavily to the floor. The attacks had nearly severed his body from the waist down.

“Subdue!”

Tower shouted and the Longevity Tower abruptly shook. Like a mountain, a talisman then descended upon Xian Yun’s body. Due to that, Xian Yun, who had only just gotten up, fell back down to the floor.

“Kid, you got careless!” Tower laughed at Xian Yun.

“Don’t be careless here. Kill him first.” While Tower was displaying arrogance, Chen Feng dared not do the same. Xian Yun was the clone of a Heavenly Immortal, after all. That was an existence far superior compared to the white-clad cultivator. Back then, just dealing with the white-clad cultivator had taken practically all of their strength. Who knows what other tricks these highly formidable Heavenly Immortals could possess?

“Don’t worry. Can you not feel it? The gate of the sixth floor is already loosening somewhat.”

“What of it?” Chen Feng asked while using the Blood Mustering Bead to smash Xian Yun. The other Ascendant Immortals also attacked Xian Yun. And while their attacks were quite disorderly, the power behind their attacks was far stronger than before.

“The sixth floor has some of my power from back then. I had sealed them up just in case. This is the right time to be using them.” Tower had only just said that when a stream of faint-yellow energy stream descended, transforming into a rope to tie up Xian Yun.

Although the rope was yellow in colour, there was also a hint of cyan there, appearing like a silky thread. Despite struggling with all his might, Xian Yun was unable to break free from the unassuming rope.

“From back then? That means the power of a Divine artifact!” Chen Feng grew relieved and waved his hand to send the Blood Mustering Bead smashing down furiously against Xian Yun’s head again.

“I hate it when others try to plot against me. Especially those who try to snatch away the Longevity Tower,” Chen Feng said icily. He then brought out the Heaven Piercing Lance and unleashed a series of attacks against Xian Yun.

“It is useless. This is the body of a True Immortal. Your attacks will not be able to even break through his defence,” Bi Qing said, stepping forward.

“Xian Yun, what else do you have to say?” Bi Qing shouted.

“So what if you managed to catch me? You are still incapable of killing me.” Xian Yun was not feeling concerned, appearing indifferent towards his present predicament.

“If I can catch you, I can kill you,” Tower said, poking a finger out to bring down a clump of flames. The clump of flames enveloped Xian Yun and burned him.

It was the Longevity Tower’s primary essence flames. Although it was not yet at the Divine artifact tier, it was still not something that a True Immortal could endure.

As expected, Xian Yun’s face began contorting. Following Chen Feng’s instructions, the other cultivators kept attacking. Bi Qing was the only exception. Sighing, he then moved to the side.

“Eh?”

It was then that Tower let out a cry of shock and he cast a look of disbelief at Xian Yun.

“What happened?” Chen Feng noticed the abnormal reaction from Tower.

“I am actually incapable of extracting the laws inside his body.” After saying that, Tower tried again. But even after trying to do so several times in a row, he had still failed.

“Strange, what is going on here?” Tower’s eyes shone as he regarded Xian Yun in detail.

“Oh, no! Be careful!” Bi Qing suddenly shouted, having remembered something.

Xian Yun, who was tied up, suddenly laughed and a wave of cyan-black energy radiated out from his body, making him look a notch bigger.

Accompanying the wave of cyan-black energy was a wave of invisible energy fluctuations. This wave of energy swept forward and all the cultivators there clutched their heads as they cried out. Several of them began bleeding from their seven orifices. Even Chen Feng felt as though his head would burst apart.

A soul attack! How could he still unleash such a formidable soul attack?

 The thought flashed through Chen Feng’s mind.

Even though he was still bound, Xian Yun swiftly flew forward, charging towards Chen Feng. A True Immortal colliding against an Earthen Immortal. The reason why the Dark Kirin had not appeared all this time was because he was digesting the immortal dao laws that Chen Feng had given him. Chen Feng had given him some of the biggest immortal dao laws obtained from the Immortal Plane.

Assuming his human form, the Dark Kirin held a lance in his hand – formed from the power of darkness – and stabbed Xian Yun furiously with it. As a result, a bloody hole appeared on Xian Yun’s body.

Tower immediately took action. Finally, he was able to extract a law from his body.

“Why is this fellow’s soul so firm? That can’t be. Not even Heavenly Immortals could possess this level of firmness.” Tower was still feeling puzzled.

“You took the Divine Accumulation Bead!” Bi Qing shouted, stepping forward to land a heavy slash upon Xian Yun.

Xian Yun did not reply. Instead, he roared as he struggled to break free. This time, however, his struggles were futile. In the face of the Longevity Tower’s suppressive power, he could no longer turn the situation around. He could not even fire out soul attacks anymore. Next, one law after another was extracted from his body and Xian Yun began growing weak.

“No wonder. His soul was reinforced by a Divine artifact.” Tower had already figured it out.

“Divine Accumulation Bead. Judging by its name, it must be quite the extraordinary item.” By then, Chen Feng had finally recovered. He cultivated the Longevity Scripture. He even possessed the Longevity Tower. Thus, he was able to recover quickly. Looking around, he saw that the others were still lying limply on the floor. All of that was due to Xian Yun’s soul attack.

Seeing that left Chen Feng secretly shocked. He did not think that Xian Yun could be so powerful.

“The Divine Accumulation Bead is a Divine artifact. It could nurture a cultivator’s soul. For the sake of this Divine artifact, he killed my Third Bro and Fourth Bro. Me having to reincarnate back then was probably his doing as well.” There was a slightly dazed expression on Bi Qing’s face.

“So, it’s a Divine artifact.” Chen Feng nodded and stopped asking.

“A pity, we are just killing his clone. His real body is still fine. Additionally, with a Divine artifact in hand, his cultivation base would rise rapidly. He will be even harder to deal with in the future.”

“He is still thinking of linking up to his real body, but it is already too late.” Tower was almost done.

Following the loss of his laws, Xian Yun became powerless to fight back. A total of 36 laws were extracted from him, double that of the white-clad cultivator. Moreover, these were not the average True laws. These laws had been reinforced by a Heavenly Immortal and a Divine artifact before. Due to that, the laws were superior to True laws.
