And so, the immortal palace smashed down against the old man. The Immortal artefact’s formidable power surged into the old man’s body, causing it to swell up rapidly as a series of popping sounds rang out from it. It was the sound of the old man’s bodily world breaking down.

Wielding the Heaven Piercing Lance, Chen Feng linked up to the Celestial Longevity Plane and charged towards the old man with an indomitable atmosphere of power.

Since the old man was in a dire strait, he would make use of the opportunity to kill him. Chen Feng himself was burning his own life and essence, pushing himself beyond his limits. Killing off an Ascendant Immortal would greatly benefit him.

“I managed to beat back an Ascendant Immortal. Although it was done by borrowing the power of magic treasures, it is still a joyous occasion.” Chen Feng laughed. Seeing the pleased look on Chen Feng’s face, Tower secretly let out a scornful scoff.

Speaking of which, after recovering his memories, Chen Feng’s relationship with Tower had changed somewhat.

Hearing that shocked Chen Feng, who fell silent. Then, he brought out the map that he had obtained from the old man earlier and flew up as he began searching for the marked location on Planet Voidsoul.

Regardless of whether or not the map was real, he had to go check it out.

As for Lan Ling’s group, they were shocked to notice that the fight had ended. However, they were able to sense that Chen Feng was fine. Chen Feng had obtained a map from the old man while Lan Ling’s group of five obtained another map from the old man. The restrictive arrays protecting the two grotto-mansions were practically identical. Due to that, Chen Feng was able to gain a rough estimate of the items inside the grotto-mansion.

Next, Chen Feng brought out the Deepsea Maelstrom and began attacking the restrictive arrays. Seeing the display of power, they all stared with widened eyes. 

“A top-grade Dao artefact! He sure has a lot of good items on him.”

“That’s actually a Dao artefact refined from a massive maelstrom. How enviable!”

“No matter how you cut it, this place is something that an Ascendant Immortal left behind. If you are not willing to take half, we will not take anything from this place either,” Lan Ling said again.

“Junior Sister Lan’s words make sense!” Tie Yuan and Feng Jian nodded.
