“An ordinary cave. Is the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos inside this place? This scripture has gone missing for billions of years now. If not even so many half-step Gold Immortals could find it, it would be impossible for a minor True Immortal like me to find. Earlier, I could resort to some tricks. But now, forget it. Rather, if I can really find it, then this whole thing would become a joke,” Chen Feng mumbled with a smirk.

That said, Chen Feng had still given his all to scan the surrounding walls with his divine sense. In the end, he found nothing.

Next, Chen Feng brought out a sword. With a stab, he broke open a large hole upon the wall before him. But before he could get a proper look at the hole, the wall recovered to its former shape. 

“Is this an illusion?” Even though he had found some abnormalities, Chen Feng was still incapable of changing the situation. Following that, no matter what Chen Feng tried, no matter what abnormalities he found, he was incapable of finding any clues regarding the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos.

I wonder, how many times have the others entered this place? If it’s easy to find, I would never have gotten the opportunity

. Chen Feng finally stopped. Finding a spot, he sat down and began resting. After calming down, he remembered that the other party did not tell him anything about a time limit. 

Are they waiting for me to give up on my own? If that’s the case, I’ll just stay here a while longer

. After Chen Feng arrived at that conclusion, the longevity-type primary energy circulated as he began cultivating there.

Staying in this unfamiliar place had first left Chen Feng somewhat worried and vigilant. However, as time went by, he gradually relaxed. Even if there were any dangers here, there was nothing he could do to evade the danger.

Chen Feng was indeed in the process of devouring the power behind the wall. In the beginning, Chen Feng had only tried to experiment with it. Unexpectedly, he was actually capable of absorbing it. 

This power was somewhat different from the other types of power that Chen Feng had encountered in the past. It was not the immortal energy from the Immortal Plane, not the ageless energy left behind by Gold Immortals and not the vast and grand power of stars. Even so, this power was strong and its quality was high, which satisfied Chen Feng. After just devouring the energy for one day, his body was already brimming with the power.

However, aside from his ability to devour some of this power, there was nothing else of note, let alone finding the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos. Additionally, according to Chen Feng’s speculation, given his level of strength, not even a million years would be enough for him to fully devour the power behind the wall.

I can only resort to some other methods

. Thinking of that, Chen Feng’s divine sense then extended into void space. In the beginning, Chen Feng had been worried that the space here would restrict his power. However, it did not take long before he succeeded in establishing a faint connection with the Longevity Tower.

I actually managed to contact Tower! Looks like the Longevity Tower is still in the Immortal Plane

. Chen Feng grew excited. 

“What’s the matter, kid. You in danger again?” Part of Tower’s consciousness was transmitted over, albeit intermittently.

“No.”

“If that’s not it, don’t disturb me. I am not in a good spot right now. Some brats are chasing me.”

Despite the casual way Tower was talking, Chen Feng knew that the situation was certainly not that simple.

“Something’s up. I found a wondrous space here containing a strange power. I’m thinking it might be useful for you.” After saying that, Chen Feng attempted to send some of the power over, but he failed.

Tower then grew silent for a moment. The link between them was still patchy.

Finally, an invisible passageway made its way over and the connection between Chen Feng and the Longevity Tower stabilized. 

“Let me see what kind of power this is.”

Boom!

The link between the two had been reinforced by the Longevity Tower’s power. Next, the power behind the wall surged forward, going through a special spatial passageway to instantly enter the Longevity Tower. Chen Feng could sense it. The amount of power sucked out from the wall in one breath’s worth of time would have taken him 10,000 years to devour. 

“This is a power from another Immortal Region. It also contains the essence power of extra-terrestrial creatures of chaos. Also, it would appear that there are some other types of power mixed in as well.” Making its way through the lengthy distance of space, Tower’s consciousness communicated with Chen Feng.

“Is it useful to you?” That was what Chen Feng cared about the most.

“Yes, very much so. It just so happens I can use it to deal with my current situation. With this power, I can turn the tables and kill off my opponents instead. Though, there needs to be enough of this power here.”

The Longevity Tower then extracted the power non-stop. As it did so, Chen Feng was once again able to sense the vastness of the power.

Thanks to Tower’s words, Chen Feng was finally able to sense the auras of extra-terrestrial creatures of chaos within this power. It was a very strong power. Unfortunately, as it had fused with other types of power, it became somewhat weaker.

After who knows how long, the rate at which the Longevity Tower devoured the power slowed down.

“The danger has been resolved for now.” A formidable power was then transmitted into Chen Feng’s body.

“The Ageless laws of half-step Gold Immortals. Quality wise, they are far inferior to genuine Ageless laws. Still, they are just right for me. Tower, how many half-step Gold Immortals have you killed?”

“Not many, around 10 or so. Damn it, Gold Immortals have come!” Next, even more power was extracted from the wall and Tower stopped talking to Chen Feng.

“Something’s happening! Chen Feng is linking up to a mysterious entity. A great deal of the power behind the wall is being drained away!” The Dao Monarchs were quick to discover the abnormal situation within the cave.

In the beginning, they had wanted to stop it only to quickly discover that their divine senses were incapable of entering the cave. Shocked, they stopped their attempts.

“Did the other party intervene?”

“Doesn’t seem like it. It feels like the power behind the wall. Everyone, do not interfere. This action from Chen Feng might bring about a change. Who knows? He might really be able to find the clues to the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos.”

The connection between Chen Feng and Tower came to a halt for a moment. After several months, it finally reconnected.

“Tower, how are you?” Chen Feng asked anxiously.

“The danger has passed.”

Pondering for a moment, Chen Feng then said, “I want to contact my clones.”

“No problem.”

This time, due to the addition of the power behind the wall, the Longevity Tower’s power rose, allowing its abilities to become even stronger. It did not take long before Chen Feng established a stable connection with his two clones.

Chen Feng transmitted over some power and cultivation experiences to the two clones through the stable passageway. As for the two clones, they sent over some of their latest harvest. 

And so, the strength of Chen Feng’s main body and his clones skyrocketed quickly. In Chen Feng’s opinion, even undergoing tribulation would not be an issue for him. 

“Unexpectedly, so many people have died. My Blood Mustering Bead’s strength is rising too quickly. Will a problem arise from this?”

After devouring large amounts of blood essence belonging to high-level cultivators, the Blood Mustering Bead was already infinitely close to the mid-grade Divine tier.

“Kid, this place you’re in is quite special. It might be connected to another Immortal Region. Additionally, I can also sense the energy waves of Ageless laws here,” Tower said.

“This place might house a cultivation scripture. It was once the sect guardian treasure of the Six Daos Sword Faction.”

“You mean the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos? I know about it. It can be considered as quite the decent cultivation scripture. It has some fame in the Immortal Plane. Later, though, for some unknown reasons, it disappeared. As for the others who cultivated the secret techniques of the scripture, they would either end up dead or missing. All in all, it is a very strange matter,” Tower informed Chen Feng everything he knew about the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos.

“It is very strange. However, those are all rumours. The most important issue now is to see if the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos is behind this wall. If it’s not, I will leave after devouring a certain amount of the power here. Although the power here is quite good, I cannot keep on staying here.”

“Let me check.”

Following that, Chen Feng felt his divine sense abruptly becoming ten times stronger. Next, it entered the space behind the wall. It kept advancing, occasionally spreading out to scan its surroundings.

“I’m hoping that Chen Feng can actually find the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos. With this scripture, our Six Daos Sword Faction will be able to return to its former glory,” Dao Monarch Hell said, a look of anxiousness and concern on his face.

“Chen Feng’s background is quite big. His future will be immeasurably bright. He can become our Faction Premier. With a connection between us and the Celestial Longevity Plane, our sect’s position will rise by another level,” Dao Monarch Secularism said as well, nodding.

“Honestly, what I am worried about most is that there is no Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos there.”

“Eh, something’s up! Look, Chen Feng has disappeared!” Following Dao Monarch Asura’s cry of shock, the others then realized that Chen Feng, who had been cultivating inside the cave all this time, had disappeared.

“Let’s go! We’ll check it out.”

Earlier, their divine senses were stopped by an invisible power. This time, however, the six of them directly made their way into the cave. Searching around, they found nothing.

“Chen Feng must have entered the wall! Even though we are all half-step Gold Immortals, we’ve been incapable of entering. Does this mean Chen Feng truly has a chance to obtain it?”

“It could be the power behind him.”

“Regardless, the fact that he can enter this wall means that there is hope in finding the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos.”

And so, the six half-step Gold Immortals stopped their cultivation efforts and simply waited inside the cave, waiting for a miracle.

“Tower, how did I come in?” Chen Feng was surprised. At that very moment, Chen Feng was like a fish swimming within a body of water. His body was making its way through a certain space filled with power. There was neither light nor directions there, only chaos.

“It’s not me.”

“What, it’s not you? Could it be…” Chen Feng was surprised.

“Yes. A sudden force appeared to pull you in. I am in the process of tracking the other party, but it will likely not yield any results.” Tower was feeling somewhat anxious. The deeper Chen Feng ventured into this space, the more unstable the connection between them became. Chen Feng had long since lost contact with his clones.
