Due to the retreat of the Starsource Order and Immortal Sword Sect, the 18 spiritual fountains were secured. However, amidst their feelings of delight, Sword Premier Demolisher and the others felt somewhat concerned.

By then, they had guessed Chen Feng’s identity. For him to have six Heavenly Immortals as bodyguards, it was clear that Chen Feng had quite the status in the Celestial Longevity Plane. 

If so, what objectives did Chen Feng have for joining the Six Daos Sword Faction? Was he really after the Six Daos Sword Codex? Given his identity and status, surely, he would not be so obsessed with the Six Daos Sword Codex. And yet, since joining the Six Daos Sword Faction, Chen Feng had not done anything out of the ordinary.

After guessing Chen Feng’s identity, Sword Premier Demolisher felt both worried and flustered. He did not know what to do next.

“Friend Chen, there are some matters that we would like to talk to you about.”

Upon receiving Sword Premier Demolisher’s invitation, Chen Feng smiled.

Judging by the way they addressed him, Chen Feng could already guess how they would treat him next.

“Let’s go. Even though we have yet to even clean up the battlefield, they are already inviting us over. Looks like they are already getting impatient,” Chen Feng said with a chuckle. Due to the way Chen Feng framed the situation, Tie Zhen and the others burst into a smile as well.

“Friend Chen, please sit.” Sword Premier Demolisher and the others showed even greater respect towards Chen Feng. It was not because Chen Feng’s side had rendered assistance earlier, but because of Chen Feng’s identity.

“Seniors, there is no need to stand on ceremony.” Chen Feng sat down while Tie Zhen and his team silently stood behind him. There was not a hint of pretence behind their actions, as though they were only doing something normal. Due to that, Sword Premier Demolisher and the rest grew more certain of Chen Feng’s identity.

This air of a superior – emanating from his very bones – was not something that could be cultivated through extrinsic means.

“I thank Friend Chen for the assistance earlier. Thanks to that, we are able to turn the tide of the battle.” First, Sword Premier Demolisher expressed his thanks for what happened earlier. Just as he was thinking about saying something else, Chen Feng interrupted him.

“Fellows, if you have something to say, then just say it. Let’s just be frank here,” Chen Feng said.

“Very well, we’ll be frank.” Sword Premier Demolisher and the others grew slightly relieved.

“Fellow friend, you must be from the Celestial Longevity Plane, right? The name Chen Qing is also a fake name, no?” Sword Premier Demolisher asked in a serious tone.

“Is this an interrogation?”

“Something like that.”

“You may address me as Chen Feng. I am from the Longevity Clan. The reason I joined the Six Daos Sword Faction is a very simple one, to hide from those who want to kill me.”

“Hide from those who want to kill you?!” Sword Premier Demolisher and the others exchanged glances. What they were worried about had come true.

If Chen Feng was a loose cultivator with a Heaven-defying talent, his existence would be a good thing for the Six Daos Sword Faction. However, by getting dragged into the battles within a behemoth like the Celestial Longevity Plane, the Six Daos Sword Faction would become a cannon fodder.

After some time, Sword Premier Demolisher spoke up again, “I wonder, what do you plan on doing next? The way I see it, a small temple like our Six Daos Sword Faction will be incapable of accommodating Great Gods like you.”

“No wonder the Six Daos Sword Faction would fall. So, the minds and vision of you cultivators are too small.” A slight look of ridicule flashed across Chen Feng’s eyes.

Hearing that, Sword Premier Demolisher and the others became somewhat infuriated. Although Chen Feng had quite the background, he was still just a True Immortal. Level wise, there was still some difference between him and them.

“What? You are all high-level Heavenly Immortals who have been cultivating for at least 10 million years. Are your wills that weak?” The ridiculing look on Chen Feng’s face grew. 

“Chen Feng, are you provoking us? You may be from the Longevity Clan, with an extraordinary background, but this is our Six Daos Sword Faction’s territory. Before this, you even relied on us to avoid your enemies. Do you not know how to be grateful?” Sword Premier Golden Light said.

“If I do not know how to be grateful, I would not have helped out back then. Do you fellows really believed that you could have stopped them just now? Bluntly speaking, if the Starsource Order had not retreated, who knows how many of the Six Daos Sword Faction’s disciples would end up dying. Who knows? Even some of you here would have died. 

“Am I right?

“I’ll make it simple. I still need to stay in the Six Daos Sword Faction for some time. You fellows may choose to not disturb me.”

“That’s not possible. In the previous battle, you fellows have exposed your identities as members of the Longevity Clan. If your pursuers come, wouldn’t that only bring us trouble?” Sword Premier Golden Light said again. 

However, Sword Premier Demolisher interrupted him.

“All right. That is not an issue. However, we also have our own conditions. We need your help for this war.” 

“Not a problem. I will do my best,” Chen Feng said with a smile. 

After the two sides were done with the negotiations, the atmosphere grew somewhat relaxed. Not long after that, Chen Feng left.

“Why did you agree? He is from the Celestial Longevity Plane! We are just an unremarkable little force in the Immortal Plane. We simply have no qualifications to get involved,” Sword Premier Golden Light said with a dissatisfied tone.

“No qualifications? And yet, Chen Feng had still chosen to rely on us, the power of the Six Daos Sword Faction! Besides, we are truly in an unfavourable situation. If we can recruit Chen Feng, we might secure a way out in the future.”

“I’ll send in the report. Also, I will suggest allowing Chen Feng to cultivate the Six Daos Sword Codex.”

“The Six Daos Sword Codex? No! He is just an outsider!”

“Hah! Do you think that he is actually that interested in our Six Daos Sword Codex? The Longevity Scripture is who knows how many more times better than our sect guardian treasure. Not even the long-lost Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos could compare with the Longevity Scripture.”

“The Longevity Scripture! Hey, this Chen Feng probably doesn’t even have the qualifications to cultivate that technique. Hunted down to the point where he has to hide in our sect, he is probably not an important character.”

“Enough! Let’s not talk about this anymore. The most important issue here is to end this war.”

“The way I see it, it will be very difficult, unless we can reach a compromise with them.”

“A compromise? Impossible! The Graveyard of Divine Dragons is the opportunity for our sect to rise again! As long as we can hold them back for just over a thousand years, this Graveyard of Divine Dragons will allow us to regain our Six Daos Sword Faction’s lost glory!”

“As if it’s that simple. Forget a thousand years, even holding them for a hundred years will be impossible. Once news of it spreads out, who knows just how many forces will choose to intervene?”

“At present, we can only hope that the sect can snatch the treasures inside it as fast as possible.”

“Don’t be anxious. Hold on for one more month and it will be our turn.”

“Of course I will be anxious. I am anxious about our current situation. The enemy had only chosen to retreat for now because of Chen Feng. Who knows? They might choose to attack again tomorrow.”

As the high-level Heavenly Immortals were discussing the issue, none of them noticed a strand of divine sense placed nearby. The divine sense was spying on every action and word there.

“As expected, there is indeed a Graveyard of Divine Dragons. Tie Zhen, unexpectedly, your stealth technique is so good.” Images played out before Chen Feng. It was none other than the discussion between Sword Premier Demolisher and the others.

“It’s because their cultivation bases are not high enough,” Tie Zhen said humbly.

“The Graveyard of Divine Dragons. This is the reason why I decided to stay behind. As for the Six Daos Sword Codex, it is nothing in my eyes. If it’s the Primordial Scripture of the Six Daos, though, then maybe.”

“Aren’t there too few of us here?” Tie Zhen said hesitantly.

“Have you contacted the other teams?” Chen Feng asked, smiling.

“I’ve contacted two teams so far.”

“Hmm, are they reliable?” At that very moment, Chen Feng was without the Longevity Tower and the Blood Mustering Bead. Additionally, his two clones were also sharing his power. When compared to the past, he was presently at his weakest state. Should those Heavenly Immortals harbour ulterior motives, they will be hard to handle.

“They are all from the Boundless Corps. They will surely be loyal to the Young Clan Lord!” Tie Zhen could see the concern in Chen Feng’s eyes.

“Let’s do this, then. You go get them to come. We still do not have enough power to snatch the treasures from a Graveyard of Divine Dragons.” Chen Feng finally decided.

“Affirmative!” Tie Zhen nodded.

Regardless of whether the newcomers would be loyal to him or not, at the very least, Tie Zhen’s team of six was completely loyal to him. 

On the other hand, perhaps it was due to the presence of Chen Feng and the others, but the battle over the 18 spiritual fountains stopped completely. The Starsource Order and Immortal Sword Sect had completely moved their forces elsewhere.

Chen Feng, though, requested to stay behind and guard the place. Coincidentally, Sword Premier Demolisher and the others thought of the same thing. Thus, they agreed to Chen Feng’s request. 

Chen Feng had his own reasons for not wanting to leave. Firstly, he did not want to join the war. Secondly, he wanted to absorb the spiritual energy from the 18 spiritual fountains there to cultivate himself. Thirdly, he wanted to secretly keep an eye on Sword Premier Demolisher and the others. 

“When I think about the mysterious Graveyard of Divine Dragons, these spiritual fountains become insignificant.” Chen Feng was seated cross-legged on the ground and an energy wave, formed from 18 streams of spiritual energy, kept flowing into his body. Since recovering his Chaos Constitution, his need for the various types of energy had exceeded the needs of most high-level Heavenly Immortals. 

Tie Zhen’s team, on the other hand, was no longer shocked to see the abnormal display from Chen Feng. As the owner of the Longevity Tower, it was only normal for him to display some abnormalities. However, it did strengthen their resolve to follow Chen Feng.

“Young Master, they’ve begun to move.” As Chen Feng was cultivating, Tie Zhen roused him up. Tie Zhen would never disturb him unless there was something important.

“Let’s go! We’ll follow them!”

Chen Feng knew that Sword Premier Demolisher and the others must be heading towards the Graveyard of Divine Dragons. Unfortunately, the Longevity Tower had yet to return. He could only depend on himself for whatever happened next. That said, Chen Feng was also preparing another force. Only, he was still in the process of contacting this force. He was uncertain if it could arrive in time.

Sword Premier Demolisher and the others were very cautious. They had switched teleportation arrays several times along the way. Due to that, they nearly succeeded in shaking off Chen Feng’s team. When they finally came to a stop, Chen Feng realized that they had returned to the Primordial Mountain Range. It was a territory under the Six Daos Sword Faction’s control.

“Could the entrance to the Graveyard of Divine Dragons be located here?” Chen Feng felt puzzled. He had spent the past few years roaming around the Primordial Mountain Range. He had also come to this valley before, but he had not found anything special about this place.

“There are no abnormalities here,” Tie Zhen said as well.

It was then that the space there shook, like ripples of water. Next, a mirror, created by the massive water ripples, appeared in the valley. Only, following the emergence of the mirror’s frame, Chen Feng knew that it was not actually a mirror. Rather, it was a mysterious spatial gate.

“So, it is a spatial gate. If so, not even taking down the Six Daos Sword Faction would help the other party. Not unless they are able to obtain this spatial gate.” Chen Feng nodded. At the same time, he began considering his next move. Without the assistance of the Longevity Tower, it would not be easy for his team to secretly enter.
