Truth be told, as Chen Feng had chosen to blow up his magic treasures in the past, the number of magic treasures left within him had fallen to less than half the original number. However, every single one of those that remained was a high-tier magic treasure. After Chen Feng advanced to the Ascendant Immortal stage, the few magic treasures that remained at the Dao tier all levelled up to become Immortal artifacts as well. Naturally, it had not been an easy process. Rather, Chen Feng had to pour a great deal of efforts and precious materials into them. Some were even kicked out in the process.

This was all in preparation for the Longevity weapons. In the end, the Longevity weapons would become Chen Feng’s greatest weapons. While normally kept inside his body, they would be able to suppress the Heavens once they emerged.

Chen Feng was cultivating himself when his eyes suddenly flashed with light. An extra-terrestrial creature had broken in. The extra-terrestrial creature was very powerful. Surprisingly, it was capable of resisting the surrounding lightning powers.

It was a bird whose body flashed with lightning radiance. Lightning liquid, containing formidable power of destruction, flowed across the surface of the bird’s golden-coloured wings.

A gold-coloured Thunderhawk,

 Chen Feng thought as he waved. Next, the surrounding lightning waters converged to form a sharp sword, which shot towards the Thunderhawk.

This was the Longevity Weapons Condensation Technique. The sword charging forward contained within it the profundity of the Longevity Sword and also the hex power that Chen Feng had inserted into it.

In fact, the Thunderhawk had noticed Chen Feng the moment it barged in. It had been thinking about attacking Chen Feng. Unexpectedly, Chen Feng would take the lead in starting a fight with it. In the face of Chen Feng’s attack, it screeched to fire out a lightning bolt out from its mouth. Unlike the lightning powers from the pond, this lightning power was black in colour and it simply smashed apart the sword that Chen Feng had formed. Following that, the scattered strands of black lightning converged together once more to attack Chen Feng.

“Despite its golden appearance, it is actually cultivating the Devastation Lightning.” Chen Feng allowed the lightning attack to land on his body. Then, with a wave of his hand, Chen Feng formed one Longevity Sword after another. The swords formed a Domain Sword Array before attacking the bird.

Chen Feng’s actions enraged the Thunderhawk and the Devastation Lightning it sent out transformed into a black whip to lash forward non-stop. Everywhere it went, the Longevity Swords that Chen Feng formed would be destroyed.

Like a snake, the whip then bit at Chen Feng. On the other hand, Chen Feng maintained an impassive expression as he raised his hand and lightning powers converged to form a thick wall before him. 

Bang!

The wall of lightning exploded and the black whip shot forward, but Chen Feng had already disappeared.

The Chaos Chain appeared, stirring inside the lightning pond as it clashed against the Thunderhawk’s whip, causing the lightning pond to roil and the mountain to shake. 

The Thunderhawk’s wings flapped and its speed doubled. As for Chen Feng, by displaying the Longevity Wings, his speed was in no way inferior to the Thunderhawk. And thus, the two of them stepped forward to exchange blows. Surprisingly, after having exchanged several killer moves, they were incapable of deciding the victor.

In the end, the two parties backed away at the same time. Despite not having discussed anything beforehand, they both tacitly chose to enter a state of truce. Chen Feng and the Thunderhawk then went to their respective sides to cultivate themselves.

This cultivation session lasted for three years and Chen Feng became slightly thinner in the end. It was as though the impurities within his fleshly body had been tempered out. Additionally, the lightning powers within the lightning pond were no longer capable of damaging Chen Feng’s fleshly body anymore. However, due to him having spent too much time cultivating inside the lightning pond, just a minor movement from him would cause lightning to flash out from his body.

During the three years, Huo Yunlong and the Dark Kirin had visited once while there was no news of Premier Golden Earth and True Immortal Soulboost. That said, Chen Feng was able to locate their auras and determine that the two of them were doing fine.

Naturally, there were also other extra-terrestrial creatures who wanted to break in during those three years but all of them were killed by Chen Feng and the Thunderhawk.

“It’s time I leave.”

Chen Feng abruptly straightened himself, causing the surrounding lightning powers to roar and churn about and the entire mountain rumbled. In response, the Thunderhawk snapped open its eyes to cast a wary gaze at Chen Feng.

During the past three years, neither party had fought one another again. Seeing this action from Chen Feng, the will to fight glinted across the Thunderhawk’s eyes.

“Forget it, I have no interest in fighting you,” Chen Feng said smilingly and he walked out from the lightning pond. Taking another step, he then disappeared from sight.

Seeing Chen Feng disappear, the Thunderhawk then continued to cultivate itself. It had lived here for hundreds of thousands of years. This Chen Feng was nothing more than a passer-by to it.

The first person Chen Feng found was Huo Yunlong. As it so happened, Huo Yunlong was in the process of running away, having suffered from some wounds. When he saw Chen Feng, he grew overjoyed and ran over to him.

“You’re a sight for sore eyes!” Huo Yunlong was quick to shout.

Chen Feng did not reply. Instead, the Chaos Chain suddenly flew out to pierce the void, forcing a human cultivator who was riding a circular disc to reveal himself.

“A human cultivator who can jump through space here!” Chen Feng was shocked. The fact that he could encounter a human cultivator here was already quite shocking for him. Unexpectedly, this human cultivator could also perform spatial jumps in this place, something that Chen Feng and the others were incapable of doing.

“Careful, there’s more than one of them.” But before Huo Yunlong could finish his words, space shook and three more cultivators riding circular discs revealed themselves at the same time, attacking instantly.

All four cultivators released unparalleled streams of sword energy. In but the blink of an eye, Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong found themselves within a world of swords and a strong sense of oppression rose up from their hearts.

“What kind of sword technique is this?” Chen Feng was shocked. The Immortal Slaughter Sword appeared in his grip and he fired out Slicing Sword Beams.

Chi! Chi! Chi! Chi! Chi! Chi!

The resulting sounds of collision made Huo Yunlong feel as though his teeth would fall out. Rather, it felt as though something was slicing his soul into pieces.

The enemy’s streams of sword energy were all sliced into fragments, but Chen Feng’s hand ended up shaking slightly.

If this was a one-on-one battle, Chen Feng was confident that he could easily kill them off. However, the combined attacks from all four caused the power behind the attack to become over ten times stronger.

“A top-grade Immortal artifact!”

Seeing the Immortal Slaughter Sword in Chen Feng’s hand, the eyes of the four cultivators instantly lit up before transforming into a look of greed.

“Hand over the immortal sword in your hand and we’ll spare your lives!” The four cultivators swiftly moved forward to surround Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong. At the same time, they also utilized a secret technique to summon their companions.

“Who are you fellows?” Chen Feng asked solemnly.

“Enough nonsense!” One of the cultivators shouted and the circular disc that he was riding spun. Next, he broke space to disappear from sight while the other three cultivators charged forward. Streams of sword energy spread out to form a net of sword energy to cover the sky.

“Break!”

Wielding the Immortal Slaughter Sword, Chen Feng slashed out once to release a sword beam of carnage, which broke the sword net. But just as Chen Feng was about to follow it up with another attack, space behind him broke as the previous cultivator appeared there.

“Let me!”

The battle lance in Huo Yunlong’s hand pierced forward to stop the sneak attack. 

“Chen Feng, there is something peculiar about these fellows’ cultivation bases.”

“I can sense it as well. Even though they are not True Immortals, they have True laws inside them, allowing them to display the combat power of a True Immortal. If so…” The Immortal Slaughter Sword in Chen Feng’s hand became like a Heavenly curtain, spreading out to instantly sweep one of the cultivators there. In the face of a top-grade Immortal artifact, the cultivator’s body was completely shredded. 

The cultivator roared and his body swiftly recovered. However, Chen Feng followed it up with a grasping motion, causing starlight to flash out from his palm. After that, by borrowing the power of the Bedazzling Star Map, he was able to quickly extract the True laws inside the cultivator’s body.

Another sword beam flashed forward. Without the True laws, the cultivator was no longer capable of healing himself. And thus, the sword beam incinerated his body to ash.

The other three cultivators were shocked to see how quickly one of their companions was taken down. After that, Chen Feng did not give them any chance to escape. A great starlight hand grasped and a vortex appeared up in the sky, causing the remaining three cultivators to scream and struggle as True laws kept flying out from their bodies.

Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou!

Chen Feng extracted all of the True laws before collecting them. Then, the Immortal Slaughter Sword flashed forward to kill off the three cultivators.

“You dare offend our Heavenly Sword Order? Death will come for you all!” Before their deaths, the three of them sent out a distress signal.

“A vicious move.” Huo Yunlong praised.

“I was just borrowing the power of the pseudo-Divine artifact. Heavenly Sword Order. Does this world have sects?” Chen Feng grew curious.

“Surely not. We’ve explored billions of li in the past few days but we did not encounter any human cultivators at all. As for these guys, it seems as though they had appeared out of nowhere.”

“Let’s leave and find Senior Dark and the rest first,” Chen Feng said, controlling one of the circular discs from the cultivators. Next, the power of space circulated. As expected, it was capable of jumping through space.

“This magic treasure is quite good. Although its grade is not high, it can pierce the space here,” Huo Yunlong said with a chuckle.

Not long after Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong left, some cultivators appeared there. Then, one of them utilized a secret technique and what happened earlier was replayed before their eyes.

“Some outsiders actually broke in and killed the members of our Heavenly Sword Order? They have a death wish!” One of them, an old-looking fellow, became infuriated. With a wave of his hand, he tore through space to chase after Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong.

“Oh, no!” Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong were already over half a million kilometres away from their previous location, but they were still able to instinctively sense great danger. Next, a great hand emerged from the depths of space to grab them.

“A palm formed from sword energy.”

“A mid-level True Immortal!”

Pa! Pa!

The two circular discs that Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong were riding on suddenly exploded and two clumps of starlight then enveloped them. With a flash, the two of them disappeared to re-appear somewhere 50,000 kilometres away.

However, the great hand simply broke through space to chase up to them yet again. It would appear that it would not give up until it had succeeded in catching Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong.

“A mid-level True Immortal is indeed formidable. But capture us? That’s not quite enough.” Chen Feng then channelled his all to mobilize the Bedazzling Star Map. Motes of starlight flashed out across the surrounding space and they flew faster and faster to finally shake off the pursuit of the great hand. 

“The Heavenly Sword Order. Let me check it out.” Back when he had killed the four cultivators, Chen Feng had also collected some of their soul power. After shaking off the great hand, Chen Feng swiftly performed a soul-searching technique on the collected soul power.

After some time had passed, Chen Feng’s eyes lit up. 

“So, it’s like this?”

“Where are they from?” Huo Yunlong anxiously asked.

“Let’s find the others first. Come, this world is about to become even more dangerous.”

Failing to capture Chen Feng and Huo Yunlong, the old man’s face turned gloomy and he entered a pondering state. It was unknown just what was on his mind. 

“Senior, who are they? Are they from the other sects?” a cultivator came to stand beside the old man and asked.

“It’s very strange. They should not be cultivators from our Heavenswave Star Region. However, they possess pseudo-Divine artifacts. Additionally, they have also killed off the members of our Heavenly Sword Order. No matter what happens, we must capture them. We might be able to find some valuable information by interrogating him.” After saying that, the old man crushed a token, causing invisible energy fluctuations to spread out before disappearing into their surrounding space.

“I have already spread the news. They will not be escaping.”
