The True Immortal had been an arrogant and overbearing character even in the Immortal Plane. Upon entering the Bedazzling Star Map, however, he became targeted by a series of attacks and was blown to bits in the end. His fleshly body was divided amongst the cultivators in the Bedazzling Star Map. That was particularly true of the Ascendant Immortals who became like bloodthirsty ants when they looked at the True Immortal’s blood essence.

“One down.”

Next up, Chen Feng made use of that method to kill off three more True Immortals. Due to that, the cultivators in the Bedazzling Star Map were able to gain a great deal of harvest. Some Ascendant Immortals who had been cultivating for tens of thousands of years became so excited that they howled jubilantly.

Following that, though, it became hard to take action again. The True Immortals chasing after him had begun gathering up. Should he stop, they would surround him. Then, he would have a hard time running away.

And so, Chen Feng used the pseudo-Divine artifact to simply fly through space. In his opinion, while he was no match for them, it would also be hard for them to catch up to him this way.

“My strength is lacking. I’m constantly getting chased by people recently. This is truly vexing.” Chen Feng had borrowed the pseudo-Divine artifact’s power to suppress his own aura to stave off his Heavenly Tribulation. Even so, it caused him to become extremely displeased.

“Actually, I have a good idea. It will definitely be able to solve this problem,” Huo Yunlong suddenly said.

“Oh, you have an idea? Tell me about it.” Chen Feng was surprised to hear that.

“You can link up to the Celestial Longevity Plane. Like Bi Qing, get some reinforcements from there. Either that or just head straight to the Celestial Longevity Plane. Let’s see if these Immortal Plane cultivators would dare to put on airs then.”

“What kind of a bad idea is that? If I can do that, do you think there is a need for me to run away so miserably like this?” Chen Feng’s face sank.

“A ha ha ha! A suggestion, just a suggestion. There is no need for you to use it.” Huo Yunlong laughed and went silent.

“Actually, I can open up a passageway to the Dark Plane,” the Dark Kirin suddenly said. 

“No. That’s just shifting the battlefield to the Dark Plane. Although the Dark Plane is slightly stronger than Eternal World, it still cannot stop the destructive powers that these True Immortals wield.”

“Our Dark Plane has fought the Immortal Plane before. Even Heavenly Immortals have joined the battle before. At this very moment, entering the Dark Plane is the best option for us.”

“That’s even more of a reason to not do that. You have yet to fully gain dominion over the Dark Plane. This is inappropriate. We’ll not talk about this again.” Chen Feng kept rejecting the idea.

“Humph! If it comes down to it, we can just go all out against them.” Patriarch Hegemon Sword interrupted.

“Fellows, don’t worry. There are many dangerous places in the universe. The might of the True Immortals’ fleshly bodies is definitely incomparable to the might of a pseudo-Divine artifact,” Chen Feng said.

“We understand, but what are the chances of us finding a danger zone? Additionally, if we enter, will we be able to come out?” Huo Yunlong said.

“We’ll have to take that gamble.”

They flew and flew through space for an indeterminate amount of time, covering an unknown distance. Even for Chen Feng, he only had a rough estimate as to how far they had gone. They had passed through two star regions. Along the way, they did come across some events that would only exist in outer space. For example, they encountered some destructive void storms. However, Chen Feng did not stop there as the void storms were not strong enough to threaten those True Immortals.

“The True Immortals behind us have all grouped up. There is a total of 50 of them there. Do they not value their lives?” Chen Feng scoffed.

In his opinion, the other party must surely know of his identity as a member of the Longevity Clan. And yet, they had chosen to continue chasing him. This could only mean that the allure of the pseudo-Divine artifact was too great.

“Even in the Immortal Plane, pseudo-Divine artifacts are highly valued treasures. Generally speaking, only Heavenly Immortals would have them. Rather, some Heavenly Immortals don’t even have one,” Huo Yunlong said.

“I know, but these fellows are persistently following us. This is quite troublesome.” Chen Feng began growing concerned. It had been several years since they fled from Eternal World. Thankfully, the Bedazzling Star Map could absorb the power of stars on its own to replenish its strength. If it weren’t for that, Chen Feng and the others would have become completely drained of energy. One mistake on their part would allow their enemies to catch up to them.

“Careful, they are attacking!”

The 50 True Immortals behind them had seemingly come to an agreement. They worked together to fire out a pillar of light – containing compressed power – at them. It then pierced through a distance of billions of li before striking the surface of the Bedazzling Star Map.

Watery ripples spread out and the stars formed a halo. Chen Feng and the others who were inside the map were affected by the attack, their faces turning pale and they all coughed out blood.

The Bedazzling Star Map, on the other hand, continued flying swiftly through space, not missing a single beat.

“These fellows sure have some skills. When my cultivation base is high enough, I might just go kill my way into the Immortal Court.” Chen Feng gnashed his teeth.

“I never thought I would one day be chased after by so many True Immortals.” Huo Yunlong’s face, though, was set into a wide smile.

Boom!

Another attack flew through space to land on the Bedazzling Star Map. This time, Chen Feng was prepared and he utilized the Primary Spirit Diagram of First Origin to block most of the power behind the attack.

As expected, after firing out two attacks, the enemy side stopped attacking. Clearly, joining forces to unleash those two attacks had also drained them considerably.

Staying inside the Bedazzling Star Map, everyone eventually got used to it. They continued cultivating themselves there. In fact, cultivating inside a pseudo-Divine artifact benefited the Ascendant Immortals greatly. Rather, some managed to break through as well.

Naturally, the cultivators beneath the Ascendant Immortal stage and even the ordinary humans living in some countries did not even know that they had been put inside the pseudo-Divine artifact. These people continued on with their usual lives and only those formidable cultivators within that group were able to make some conjectures. That said, as they were living inside a pseudo-Divine artifact, their cultivation bases rose by leaps and bounds. Even the average human had undergone a world-shaking change. Their lifespans were extended and their fleshly bodies grew stronger. The average human who could only unleash a force of 50 kilogrammes could now unleash a force of 15,000 kilogrammes.

Of course, Chen Feng did not bother looking into it. He had finally decided. He would undergo his tribulation.

Due to the pseudo-Divine artifact, the Heavenly dao had been incapable of affecting Chen Feng. However, by deliberately tearing open a hole on the Bedazzling Star Map, Chen Feng was able to let the Heavenly dao descend upon him. Immediately, he sensed an obscure pressure locking down onto him. It would appear that the Heavenly Tribulation had been brewing for a long time. Now that it had finally found Chen Feng, it abruptly formed up.

Even before the appearance of tribulation clouds, a thick ray of Devastation Light had descended furiously upon Chen Feng.

Chen Feng’s response, though, was even more outrageous. He opened his mouth and the Devastation Light – something that could destroy even a planet – was completely gulped down.

It’s not strong enough

. Chen Feng felt somewhat surprised. While this Heavenly Tribulation had given a ferocious display, it was not as strong as he had expected.

The next ray of Devastation Light contained hints of bloody light. Unassuming in appearance, the bloody light stimulated Chen Feng’s aura. That was even more so after the bloody light entered his body. Chen Feng felt as though someone was boiling water inside his body.

This is the power of blood. Interesting. However, it is still not enough

. Chen Feng easily suppressed the blood in his body and completely refined the power of blood.

Next, Heavenly Tribulation powers kept descending. Most of them were devastation powers with the power of blood mixed within them. Additionally, there were also Heavenly Lightning that could shake Chen Feng’s soul.

Truth be told, for Earthen Immortals, a Heavenly Tribulation at this level was already beyond the norm. But for someone like Chen Feng, it barely itched him.

This Heavenly Tribulation is somewhat normal. If this keeps up, my rate of cultivation will speed up. Still, I don’t think it will be that simple

, Chen Feng thought. He simply stood there to ceaselessly devour the Heavenly Tribulation powers descending down upon him from space.

And so, Chen Feng was able to smoothly advance to the peak-level Earthen Immortal stage.

However, Chen Feng remained unsatisfied. He took a deep breath and his aura abruptly charged upwards, making its way through the pseudo-Divine artifact and into outer space.

As expected, the Heavenly Tribulation – that had yet to disperse – descended once more.

Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa!

A dazzling stream of light descended, flashing to form a halo of light. Like a chain, it tied Chen Feng up and the power of chaos entered Chen Feng’s body through the chain to incessantly wreak havoc upon his body. 

Eh? This is a Chain of True Law! Isn’t this the Heavenly Tribulation for True Immortals?

 Chen Feng was secretly shocked.

No, this is an incomplete Chain of True Law. Heh! This Heavenly Tribulation is at least 10 times stronger compared to the previous one. Now this is more like it!

 Next, Chen Feng’s body pulsed and the power inside him became like an erupting volcano. The power of chaos that had invaded his body was expelled. Following that, Chen Feng grasped and the True law that was tying him up broke apart. Opening his mouth, Chen Feng then inhaled and the power of laws and power of chaos were all sucked in.

“That’s a True law! Isn’t this only a Heavenly Tribulation that True Immortals could face?” Huo Yunlong and the Dark Kirin blurted aloud. As for Heavenly Premier Absolute and the rest, their jaws dropped. Even though there was a distance of 5 million kilometres between them and Chen Feng, they could still feel the terrifying aura of the Heavenly Tribulation powers around Chen Feng.

“If I have to face such a Heavenly Tribulation, not even 10 lives will be enough for me,” said an astonished Heavenly Premier Absolute. 

“Chen Feng will be fine, right?” some of them began feeling worried.

“Don’t worry, he will surely be all right.” Huo Yunlong had finally recollected himself. Likewise, the Dark Kirin also nodded. Even if the Heavenly Tribulation were to become 10 times stronger, they believed that Chen Feng would be able to overcome it. 

The owner of the Longevity Tower dying while undergoing his Heavenly Tribulation? Wouldn’t that become the biggest joke of all?

After the first True law was broken, the second True law – a different one – appeared. Like the first one, it also tied Chen Feng up. This time, Chen Feng did not take action against it. Instead, he allowed the law to continuously constrict him as he secretly studied the power and profundity of the law.

Then, a third True law appeared. It flowed like a stream of light and Chen Feng became even more firmly bounded.

So, there’s a time limit.

 Chen Feng realized. As expected, once the time was up, another True law appeared.

Each of the three True laws binding him contained different power of laws. Chen Feng himself felt as though his body would be split into sections by the laws. Rather, the laws were even cutting his soul.

Forget other Earthen Immortals, even an Ascendant Immortal would be obliterated by this Heavenly Tribulation. Heh! The Heavenly dao sure thinks highly of me

. Chen Feng’s body shook and his four limbs stretched outwards. His Four Extreme acupoints spun into action and he felt the four directions falling under his control. Next, a series of popping sounds rang out and the three True laws binding Chen Feng were blown to pieces.

Am I going to advance to the Ascendant Immortal stage just like this?

 Chen Feng wondered even as he devoured the surrounding powers. After that, the Bedazzling Star Map flickered to once again cut off the connection between its interior and the Heavenly dao. And so, the Heavenly Tribulation disappeared and Chen Feng’s cultivation base stabilized itself at the peak-level Earthen Immortal stage.
