“What is it, fellows?” Chen Feng asked.

“Just surrender. The other party has already given their word. As long as we hand over the pseudo-Divine artifacts, we will be able to survive this calamity.” One of them forced himself to speak up.

“That’s right, Island Lord Chen. The present situation is very grave. We have no choice but to submit.” Seeing someone speak up, the others began echoing his sentiments. Other cultivators who had been watching them began joining the bandwagon.

“Do you all think that way?” Chen Feng looked around and found that, with the exception of the Ascendant Immortals from the East Dragon Island Alliance, the others were of the same opinion. Some were directly moving forward to suggest that Chen Feng hand over the pseudo-Divine artifacts.

Chen Feng secretly sneered.

These fellows can’t see what’s going on.

All else aside, the fact that they were inside the Bedazzling Star Map meant that their lives were in Chen Feng’s hands. 

“I need to consider this,” Chen Feng said, his words directed at those before him and also the enemies outside.

“One joss stick’s worth of time.” The cultivators from the Heavenscrown Immortal Region replied.

“Well, then. Let’s see how many of you want me to hand over the pseudo-Divine artifacts,” Chen Feng said, a smile on his face.

Patriarch Heavenly Sword, the Ascendant Immortals from the East Dragon Island Alliance, the Dark Kirin and the Ascendant Immortals from the Dark Plane under him all stood behind Chen Feng, looks of ridicule on their faces.

Some hesitated for a moment before following suit, standing behind Chen Feng. However, more of the Ascendant Immortals grouped up to stand on the opposite side of Chen Feng. There were even a few half-step True Immortals amongst them.

“Chen Feng, this situation is as clear as day. Just give up. That way, there is hope for survival.” The one who spoke up was a half-step True Immortal from Heavenly Firmaments Palace. The arrival of the reinforcements from the Immortal Plane had bolstered his confidence. At the same time, it also gave him some other ideas.

“Give up?” Chen Feng laughed.

“Fellows, do you not understand the current situation? Do not forget where you are right now.”

“Chen Feng, what do you mean by that? Are you thinking of taking action against us?”

“Do not forget, you still have enemies outside.”

“Just hand over the pseudo-Divine artifact. Why choose a mutually destructive scenario?”

“If we really have to fight, there is still no telling who will emerge victorious.”

“You say those outside are my enemies? That’s amusing.” Hearing those words, Chen Feng suddenly burst into laughter. He no longer had anything to say to them.

“In that case…” After saying that, Chen Feng waved his hand and starlight flashed. The cluster of stars moved and the Ascendant Immortals were instantly shifted away to the starry space outside.

“What?” The Ascendant Immortals were horrified. Some who were quick to react instantly fled. Some others began begging the cultivators from the Heavenscrown Immortal Region for mercy.

Boom!

The enemy True Immortals attacked and a violent wave of energy spun forward, reducing all the Ascendant Immortals in its path into a mist of blood. Some, though, managed to escape. The enemy had only attacked once and they did not pursue them. Their objective was the pseudo-Divine artifacts in Chen Feng’s possession.

“Looks like you are unwilling to hand over the pseudo-Divine artifacts. If so, attack!” The enemy had successfully broken up the strength of Chen Feng’s party. Thus, this was a good opportunity for them to attack.

Two True Immortals moved forward, one from the left and one from the right. Their bodies expanded to a height of 5,000 kilometres before stretching their hands out to grab the Bedazzling Star Map.

Sou! Sou! Sou! Sou! 

Several more True Immortals scattered around to seal up the surrounding space.

More True Immortals then attacked the Bedazzling Star Map. Their objective, to drain away the power of the Bedazzling Star Map.

After just one clash, Chen Feng found himself incapable of holding on. He coughed out blood and the Bedazzling Star Map swiftly shrunk to enter his body. Next, the Primary Spirit Diagram of First Origin unfurled, covering a small area around Chen Feng, protecting him.

Chen Feng kept flashing about through space as he attempted to break out.

One of the True Immortals punched to send Chen Feng falling down from space. He had failed to escape from the planet.

Do I have to hide inside the Longevity Tower? No. If I do that, the Longevity Tower will fall into their hands. 

Chen Feng was at his wits end.

“Actually, there is one more option.” It was then that Tower suddenly said, his voice containing a note of hesitation.

“What way?” Chen Feng hastily asked.

“Err…” Tower paused for a moment. Clearly, he was still struggling, uncertain if he should say it or not.

“Sigh! Is this even the time to be hiding anything?” Chen Feng said anxiously. 

“Fine. This method will depend on you. When I tell you about it, don’t get agitated. However, this method will definitely work.”

“Tower, just what is it? Why are you becoming so long-winded?”

“Fine, I’ll tell you.”

“Chen Feng, reinforcements have arrived.”

Just as Tower was about to tell Chen Feng about the method, Bi Qing’s voice emerged from the Bedazzling Star Map.

“Reinforcements? What reinforcements?” Chen Feng was surprised.

“Let me out first.”

With a thought from Chen Feng, Bi Qing appeared beside Chen Feng.

“I received a secret vocal transmission earlier. The reinforcements that I was looking for has come,” Bi Qing said, a note of excitement in his voice. There was also an indescribable emotion within his voice.

“From the Celestial Clearblue Plane?” There was a somewhat troubled expression on Chen Feng’s face. Due to what happened with Xian Yun in the past, Chen Feng felt concerned. If this force were to do something bad towards Bi Qing, they will be in even greater trouble.

“There’s no other choice. We’ll have to make a gamble here. Besides, the ones coming this time are my clansmen. There is a 90% chance that nothing bad will happen,” Bi Qing said solemnly.

“Your clansmen.” Chen Feng was taken aback, but he did not probe further into it. Bi Qing would rarely talk about his past.

Clansmen, huh?

 Chen Feng felt his mind falling into a tumultuous state. In the face of interests, even blood brothers would turn on one another. In the past, Chen Feng had his spiritual root destroyed and was forced to drift about in space for a million years, all thanks to the sneak attack from his own clansmen.

A wave of energy fluctuations descended and a section of the starry space began twisting. Finally, a pitch-black passageway appeared. It was something that could seemingly suck in the souls of those who gaze upon it.

A cultivator then strode out. 

A True Immortal

. Chen Feng nodded. Only, he felt somewhat puzzled. His eyes flashed with light as he attempted to determine the cultivator’s cultivation state.

Sensing Chen Feng’s gaze, the cultivator raised his head to smile at Chen Feng. Instantly, Chen Feng felt the world shining with a dazzling light. His view of the world began turning upside down and his soul became jumbled up.

“Incredible!” Chen Feng had to struggle to recover and his whole body broke out into a cold sweat. Thankfully, the other party did not actually take action against him, otherwise not even borrowing the power of the Longevity Tower could help him get rid of the other party’s power.

“A mid-level True Immortal. That earlier is a soul-type power of laws,” Chen Feng whispered.

The True Immortal stage had their own levels as well. Up till now, almost all the True Immortals that Chen Feng had encountered were at the starter-level True Immortal stage. Naturally, Xian Yun, who appeared back then, was stronger. Only, because he was just a clone, he could not unleash his full power. If it weren’t for that, Chen Feng and Bi Qing would’ve had a very hard time dealing with him.

A second cultivator appeared, then a third…

One by one, more cultivators emerged from the passageway. When the seventh cultivator emerged, the black passageway then disappeared.

All Chen Feng saw was a flash before the seven cultivators appeared before them. Or rather, before Bi Qing.

“Senior.”

“Master.”

“Great grandfather.”

The various titles shocked Chen Feng, but he maintained an impassive expression on his face.

“Alright. Now is not the time to be talking. Let’s deal with the problem before us first.” Looking at the familiar faces, Bi Qing was barely able to suppress his feelings of excitement.

“Who are these enemies? Their cultivation bases are somewhat peculiar. Are they from the other Celestial Planes?”

“We’ll know once we capture and interrogate them.”

All seven True Immortals took action simultaneously. They did not display any flashy moves. Instead, they directly charged towards the enemy side. As for Chen Feng and Bi Qing, they left the planet they were on and headed into outer space, where they put some distance between them and the fight.

“This issue has been resolved. I wonder, can the immortal soldiers from the Immortal Plane repel the others?”

Although only seven cultivators had come from the Celestial Clearblue Plane, Chen Feng knew that the outcome of the battle was already determined. Every one of the seven cultivators was at the mid-level True Immortal stage. They would have absolutely no issues singlehandedly fighting tens of enemy True Immortals.

“Since the Immortal Plane has chosen to take action, I believe there will not be an issue. Though, I will have to return to the Celestial Clearblue Plane after this,” Bi Qing said.

“That’s a good thing as well. Cultivating in the Celestial Clearblue Plane, you will be able to progress faster.”

“Originally, I had planned on exploring outer space with you. But it looks like we’ll have to change our plans.”

As Chen Feng and Bi Qing were chatting, the cultivators from the Heavenscrown Immortal Region were utterly routed and their warships destroyed. That said, only a portion were killed while nearly half managed to flee, disappearing from sight.

Chen Feng felt puzzled. Although the number of cultivators from the Heavenscrown Immortal Region was quite high, with 10,000 True Immortals amongst their ranks, there were no formidable True Immortals amongst them. Instead, the True Immortals were practically identical in strength, all at the starter-level True Immortal stage.

Is this not the only fleet?

 The thought flashed across Chen Feng’s mind.

Forget it. With this, Eternal World should be able to overcome this calamity. As for what happens next, there’s nothing I can do about it.

 Chen Feng shook his head. Knowing that he was still not strong enough, Chen Feng decided not to dwell too much upon it.

It did not take long before the seven True Immortals from the Celestial Clearblue Plane arrived before Bi Qing again.

“This person is Chen Feng. He is from the Longevity Clan. Introduce yourselves.”

“Bi Yuan.”

“Bi Yu.”

“Bi Chuan.”

“Bi Ming.”

“Bi Luo.”

“Bi Shan.”

“Bi Shui.” 

The seven of them introduced themselves. They did not reveal any expressions of contempt towards the fact that Chen Feng was an Earthen Immortal. Seeing that made Chen Feng feel very pleased.

“I am from the Celestial Clearblue Plane’s Heavensroot Lake,” Bi Qing said.

Quickly considering it, Chen Feng’s eyes then lit up. “A branch of the imperial family.”

Hearing the words coming from Chen Feng’s mouth, the faces of the seven True Immortals flickered and they cast a look of surprise at Chen Feng.

“It can be considered a branch of the imperial family.” Bi Qing nodded.

The spatial passageway opened up again and Bi Yuan and the others gradually entered. In the end, only Bi Qing was left standing there.

“I’ll be returning to the Celestial Clearblue Plane now, take care. The next time we meet, I hope that you can truly surpass me.”

“Senior, take care,” Chen Feng said solemnly.

“Ha ha ha! We might end up meeting sooner than expected.”

After reaching their level, cultivators would possess a very long lifespan. A period of 10,000 years was comparable to several years or just months for a normal human. 

Not saying anything else, Bi Qing then stepped into the passageway and it disappeared. Chen Feng knew that Bi Qing had arrived back in the Celestial Clearblue Plane. He then thought back on his own situation. He was from the Celestial Longevity Plane. And yet, there was no telling when he would be able to return.
