Even their king serves The King, but The King has given them a kingdom of their own inside the walls. There are a few kingdoms, and kings inside the wall.

The King Creator is the one who sits above all. That means He is the one that's in charge of all things. That must be a troubling job to have. There is a lot of different s.h.i.+t out here. I can't gather how many things there are on their side.

He said that The King is also in charge of the material realm. He didnt explain that place much, but he did say we can't go there without permission.

I a.s.sume The King has to allow you to do that. He did say that the Devils find their way there sometimes. That's when The King sends out Angels and Archangels to that realm.

I wonder what the devils want from that place. I heard there is not much life there. The life that does exist there isn't smart, and doesn't last long. That's why it has a hard time when it gets here. It's still young, and doesn't know itself yet.

I have always been aware of myself so I can't understand why they don't know themself. Then again none of the things from that side have hands like we do. They have faces that are like some of us, but they dont look like us in any other way.

When he was finished teaching me what he wanted to teach me for now. He began to negotiate with me for a job.

"I have given you answers, and I have something else to offer you. I gave you the answers, because The King said you have been working hard outside the walls."

The King was watching me after all. I knew he was being creepy up there in his throne room. Seriously is it too much to tell me when your going to watch me.

Something fell from above me, and hit me right on the top of my head right then. The d.a.m.n thing hurt too!

"What was that just now?"

I said as I looked around for whatever it was. Then the Monk held out his hand, and there was something in it.

"This is what I want to offer you Eternity Foxx. It is a fruit that is similar to the one in your box."

I was surprised he knew about the box. Come to think of it he did say Mikhail was telling him about me. That guy...

"It will allow you to read the book that is in the box as well. This is a "Celestial Grape," and it helps you to understand things."

"Place it in your bag, and it will grow more grapes. When you are able to read, write, and understand the book completely. The remaining grapes will no longer grow, and if you take the main grape from the bag. It will fade away from this place."

"The fruit you already have is known as a "Celestial Apple." If you eat it different things can happen."

"Apples will return to their original self as long as you place them back in the box. They are fruits that fall from the Tree of Life."

"The Tree's roots are in our realm, but its branches grow in all realms. The apples fall from the tree, and finds it's way to our realm."

So the one is something that I can consume. The other I read, which from the sound of it is a way to consume books. I now have two fruits and one book. One of the fruits will help me read the book.

"Will the grapes help me read all books, or just the one in the box?" I needed to know so I don't mess with things i can't use.

"Yes they will, but you should read just that one for now. It may help you read other books better."

So this book i have is more important then other books. It helps you learn how to read, and understand the rest of the books. I'm going to be reading this book often I can see.

"Is this book The King's word?"

That had to be what was in this book. The caravans teach The King's word, and I see they all have a bag like mine. They must have the same book that I do.

"You are correct Eternity Foxx. The book you have is The King's word. Each of us see it differently, therefore it has a different meaning to us all."

"You should read it when you are alone. That is the best way to read it."

He was offering me a way to grow on my own. I had to take it, and make use of it. I wonder if The King saw this coming.

"We must return to the inside now. You should come find us again after you read the book."

He then handed me the grapes, and another item. It was a small item with makings on it.

"When the talisman starts to glow. Hurry to where you meet us this time. When it stops glowing and fades away. We will have begun our walk."

A few more of the Fox spirits showed up. They looked like they were afraid of something. I looked where they came from, and saw a Devil coming at us.

I put the items in my bag, and left it where I was sitting.

"I can handle this Devil, but I will accept any help you give me."

I grabbed my weapon, and the item Mikhail dropped. Turned towards the Devil readying myself.

"We will sit this one out. You seem to be well prepared to take it yourself now." The Monk shouted out.

He wants to watch me also. I'm not sure if he is watching to test my abilities, or to please his amus.e.m.e.nt. They seem to like how I amuse them. I know that has to do with liking something, but I think it's a bad thing. It feels like a bad thing.

This Devil was a smaller size Devil. It had an odd smell to it though.

He came close enough to see clearly, but it stopped. Then it walked back and forth in the same place. What is it doing?

"He does not want to come attack us until we drop the border. It is around us, but not you. It can only attack you right now."

"If it attacks us, it will be pushed back by the border."

This has to be a test of my abilities. It must be like the first time I met Mikhail. He wants to see if I actually need any help at all.

"I don't know why you all want to watch me."

"I don't mind it much anymore. The King is giving me things I need. So if He wants to test me He can."

"I will not lose His test!"

The Devil doesn't have to attack. I'm going to go after it.

I went to meet it where it was. It keeps walking from side to side and saying something. I really should learn what the h.e.l.l these guys are saying.

I started to do what it was doing. Why not maybe it will want to fight me then.

It smiled at me, and stopped moving. It started to get into a position like the one I learned from the weapons. Does this Devil have teaching in how to fight?

The aura coming from it just grew as well. Is this one not like the other small Devils I have seen?

They are not as strong, or smart as the big ones. Yet this one gives off an aura like the bigger ones. It also seems to be smart. I'm not sure I was right about challenging it.

It attacked, and when it did the attack went past my dagger. It almost made it past the other item. This Devil is better then the big ones. How can that be?

The small ones don't fight this well. I think it's holding back too. When they get angered they get stronger. This thing is still smiling at me.

Is it because it thinks I can't win? The monks really aren't doing anything to help me. Maybe that's why he is smiling. I can't let that smile get to me. If I dont pay attention to the Devil. I'm going to lose this fight.

I put some distance between me, and it. This isn't going to be easygoing. I need to come up with a plan. It's moves are just like mine.

They are quick, accurate, and strong. It's trying to test me as well. I need a way to turn the test around. I have to get it to fight me all out. Then I can know what it can do.

I dropped the item Mikhail sent me, and got in a position I taught myself when hunting small things. This gave me more speed, and allowed me to attack accurately.

The Devil looks like it is going to be serious, and it stopped smiling. Now I should attack it, and see how much it changed.

My first attack almost hit it, but my second one missed. It moved out the way just in time. It did get better, but I think I might be even better then it.

It stopped a lot of my attacks, and I stopped it's attacks. Some hit me, but it was using a big object. I was not cut, but it did some damage. My wings are starting to hurt from it. It's still holding back.

I'm not sure I can win against this one. It's probably almost as strong as Mikhail. I have to get some s.p.a.ce.

When I did get a bit of s.p.a.ce between us. I started to focus on coming out of this. I closed my eyes, which was not a good idea in a fight, but it felt right.

"I'm not sure what to call you. They call you "The King" so I will too. King Creator, can you send me some help? I could really use it right about now."

I dont have time to go on my knees, and close my eyes. I opened my eyes, and faced the Devil. Nothing happened though when I did. I guess He wants to see what I can do as well.

My body was in so much pain, and I think the Devil is p.i.s.sed now. Do they not like prayers?

Suddenly all the pain was leaving my body. I also felt lighter on my feet. I looked to see what He had given me.

It was my wings! They are like the large ones Mikhail has. They look different from his though. They must be really strong, and they have taken away my pain.

"I like the new wings, and I'm happy you took my pain away! I don't mind working for you either. It's kind of fun even though it hurts."

I heard laughter coming from caravan. When I looked back to the monk he said "just say "thank you" next time, it's much easier."

I couldn't help, but smile at him. I don't like being laughed at, but I'm starting to think they don't do it in a bad way.

"I will say "thank you" when His test become easier. I don't want to make things easy for someone that makes them hard for me." I replied while laughing.

He laughed even harder, and nodded his head. Maybe he agrees with that idea.

My speed was greatly increased with the new size of my wings. I was next to it so fast that I almost ran into it. I did land a d.a.m.n good hit on it's side.

That hit made it back up from me. Now it's looking for s.p.a.ce? I think I can take this one now.

After a few more hits, the Devil went down. As it was laying there, I walked over to it. I do this after I win all my fights, but this time I have a name.

I know they can understand the language of the Demonic. If I speak to them I know they hear what I'm saying.

"You shouldn't try to fight outside the battlefield areas. It is not allowed in the rules of these areas."

I tell them this so that they know I'm not going to let them go agaisnt the rules. No one else goes too far from the wall to help. I do it to help me get more privileges in the market. It also makes The King happy from the way things are going.

"My name is Eternity Foxx, and I am answering the prayers outside the wall. That means I am keeping the rules outside here too."

The King said something to me then.

"You have found "Fort.i.tude" young one. Grow it like you grow your righteousness."

What is He talking about now?

"You're a very interesting young one. I'm not sure what you are just yet. I see why The King likes you so much."

The monk said that as he was handing me my bag. They left after that. Going in the gate that was now in front of me. I want to speak to this Angel again when I come to the caravan.
