After dinner, Ming was full as she ate too much. So she wanted to take a walk, and Liwei accompanied her. They went to the garden for a walk.

It's been a few days when Ming came to this house but she never explore it much. And this garden looks different from what it looks like in the morning.

In the darkness of night, with the soothing light of the moon, everything seems so perfect. A garden surrounded by trees and plants and the fresh smell of flowers. It makes the night more beautiful. In her past life, there was also a garden and pond in the palace. It could've been more beautiful but for her, it was not less than a prison. Walking alone in this kind of night is such a waste.

But thankfully this time, she was not alone. Liwei was beside her.

As she was busy thinking all this, Liwei held her hand in his hand, interlocking their fingers. This action took Ming by surprise. But she didn't take her hand away. She smiled at him.

While walking beside her on this beautiful night, Liwei was thinking how good it will be to spend life with her like this. It is like a second chance to their relations.h.i.+p. ' I should cancel those divorce papers, tomorrow. So that she won't get a chance to leave me'. At this, he looked at her hands, that were by her side. He stretched his hand and took her hands in his, then he looked at her to see her reaction.

When he saw her beautiful smile under this moonlight, his heart skips a beat. Her one smile can make him crumble on his knees. She doesn't need to make efforts to seduce him, her single smile can do all the work.

He looked at her, then he bent down and give a peck on her forehead lovingly. He looked into her eyes and said, " Ming, I will wait for you". As he said, he took her in an embrace. he hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go of her.

Ming has understood his words when he said those words, her heart started to melt. How can she not like this guy. She also hugged him back, by wrapping her arms around his waist.

They didn't say anything for a while. Sometimes, there is no need to say anything. Silence can do anything. This peaceful silence with the sound of their heartbeats makes the night more beautiful.

After a while, they separated and walked towards the garden swing which was placed near the pond in the garden. Besides the swing, there was a side table on which Liwei has arranged some tea and desserts for her. He knows that she likes tea and sweets. So he already prepared them for her. She also needs to eat more. She is so thin. he will make her eat more so that later, he can enjoy her curves.

A devilish smile appeared on his face but Ming was oblivious of his thoughts and ate the desserts happily.

Then Liwei spoke, " Ming, today Xinyi invited us for dinner at Xie house. She said, that your father and mother miss you and wanted to see you. Do you want to go?" he asked cautiously.

" What did you reply to her" Ming asked. Her eyebrows furrowed as she tried to remember what was her relations.h.i.+p was with Xie Family. She remembered that Xie Family is so selfish and always treated Ming badly. And for Xinyi, she was like the same as Xiao Li from her past. She tries to pretend as white lotus while she is wicked from her heart. There is saying that one should not look at someone's look to judge them. It is because that person must've experienced these kinds of white lotuses in his / her life.

Liwei replied, " I asked her, that I will ask you. I didn't give her any reply. And if you don't want to go, we won't." He said while trying to read her expressions. Her expressions were blank. He was confused. What exactly she is thinking.

He was prepared to hear no because he knows that she doesn't like Xinyi and her mother. Moreover, she never visited them in the past too. So he just wanted to ask her once to know her actual thoughts.

But when he heard her reply, he was surprised and confuse.
