Chapter 1412: Trickery

Lin Yuns one short sentence had subdued the black serpent, who lay on the ground obediently as if he had met a senior.

Jophany became even paler. He looked at Geoconie, who had just relocated his broken bones, and was waiting for them to recover, with flames bursting out of his eyes.

What an idiot. Why didnt I kill this stupid son? This skeleton king has definitely been trained by King Fogus himself. Hes even very close to the Dynson Clan. Were screwed. Were all going to get killed because of Geoconie

Geoconie was still at a loss. He had been kicked away by his father the moment Lin Yun mentioned the King of the Undead. He had more than 20 broken bones, and was nearly killed by his father. Just as he rose back to his feet, his father appeared in front of him before he could say anything, and dragged him into the castle as if he were prey.

While Lin Yun and the black serpent were catching up, Jophany took Geoconie into a secret chamber in the castle, and stared at him gloomily.

Tell me everything that has happened exactly as it is, idiot. If you want to get killed, thats fine, but dont involve me or our clan!

After saying that, Jophany couldnt hold back any longer. He quickly broke Geoconies bones that had just recovered.

Geoconie opened his mouth and screamed. He did not dare to argue. He could only scream.

When his screams were mostly over, Jophany finally slapped Geoconie in the face, breaking one of his fangs.

Idiot, spill it out!

Geoconie fell on the ground like a dead dog, with question marks all over his head. He didnt know why his father beat him up instead of the stranger, even though he had delivered a message despite all the trouble.

However, seeing the fury in Jophanys eyes, Geoconie didnt dare to ask any longer. He obediently and truthfully explained what happened.

He told his father how he found Lin Yun, how Lin Yun annihilated his army easily, and how Lin Yun forced him to lead him here

As he talked, Geoconie saw that real bloody flames were erupting from Jophanys eyes. The flames quickly enshrouded Geoconie. Although they didnt cause any physical damage, Geoconie seemed to be enduring excruciating pain. His eyes were almost popping out.

Jophany glared at Geoconie, who was screaming. He turned around and closed the gate.

Idiot, for the disaster that you almost caused, youll be burnt in flames for 500 years!

Jophany walked out, and saw that Lin Yun and the black serpent were still talking.

Lin Yun took out a tiny bit of the Golden Crown and the heart blood that Rikk offered. Rikk had only given him one drop of blood, but that was according to Rikks standard. He had developed the plant he needed, and the rest of the blood was no longer useful. He could give some of it to the black serpent to prove his identity.

According to Lin Yuns standard, he was giving away 10 drops of heart blood, which was negligible compared to what he got before. However, feeling the aura in the heart blood, the black serpent was so excited that his scales were standing.

He knew that the heart blood belonged to a pure-blood member of the Dynson Clan. It couldve only been given away voluntarily, and couldnt have been stolen. The heart blood that was robbed didnt carry such a powerful aura of blood. For black serpents, it was 10,000 times more valuable than a level-49 soul fire.

The black serpent lay on the ground, and opened his mouth, accepting Lin Yuns gift respectfully. He swallowed the heart blood, which was a catalyst that could help him strengthen his bloodline. Without the catalyst, it would be useless no matter how hard he tried.

The heart blood and the tiny bit of Golden Crow was enough for the black serpent to rise by one level. For the descendants of the Dynson Clan, the bloodline was everything, and the level was just for reverence.

This black serpent was level-47, and when he met Rikk, the latter was only level-46, but in a real battle, the black serpent wouldve been killed by Rikk easily.

Now that Lin Yun brought it up, Jophany couldnt help but feel worried.

Sir Buddy, let me go there. Ive been to the Kingdom of Nightmares before. I think I should be safe as long as I stay in the periphery

All the seven vampire ancestors were stronger than him, but none had returned from the Kingdom of Nightmares yet, which meant that they didnt just stay in the periphery of the Kingdom of Nightmares.
