Her eyes lids felt heavy the minute she read a long writing. But her eyes caught something interesting making she smiled excitedly.

"Father?"

"Yes?"

"Does Edward know?"

"Of course not. He only knows that we love you differently. What is wrong?"

"I want to tell him about this."

"Why? I know that you believe in Edward, but still ... "

"Not only that. I want him to be mine."

His father was very surprised to hear that.

What was his daughter saying? She wanted Edward to be hers? Is there something wrong with his hearing?

Right before the Lord could ask further, there was a loud 'boom' followed some scream outside.

Scarlet and her father went straight to the source of the scream.The Lord was surprised to see two maids fell while Edward's expression was full of guilty.

"What's wrong? What happened?"

"Forgive me." Said Edward sadly. "I was using my strength to light a fire in this charcoal. But for some reason I can't control my fire and almost hurt them." Edward continued, glancing at the female maids who were still sitting in shock.

"Are you alright?" Scarlet asked approaching the maids.

"We're fine, young miss. Please don't blame Edward. It was an accident. We are not hurt, we're just shocked."

"I don't blame anyone. I'm just worried."

"Thank you Miss."

"Edward, how about you? Are you okay?" Scarlet moved toward him but stopped when she saw Edward move away from her. "Ed?"

"Sorry, miss. I'm not sure if I'm safe right now. Please excuse me." Then Edward walked out of the room to the back.

Scarlet and the Lord soon followed him as they worried about the man.

Not long after Edward waved his hand and pulled a spark of fire from both hands. He enlarged the fire and reduced it to his liking.

He was too busy controlling the fire until he didn't realize that Scarlet was walking closer to him.

After being sure he could control his strength well, he faced Scarlet and his Lord.

"My apologizes. I don't know why my power suddenly went out of control," said Edward again in a tone full of guilt.

Scarlet approached him and saw Edward's left upper sleeve got a hole from the burning. He could also see that there was a red circle and inside it was her fire symbol.

She smiled with satisfaction. "It suits you very well."

"Excuse me?" Edward was confused the remark from his young miss. What does it mean?

"Father, you don't mind, right?"

Lord Fiery just sighed deeply. "It's already happened. After all you also can't choose your inamorato right?"

Scarlet smiled broadly while watching her father walked away to leave them alone.

"Miss?"

"Edward, from now on you can't call me 'miss'. Call me Scarlet."

"Why?"

"Because now you are mine." Edward laughed at that. "I'm not kidding." Scarlet frowned seeing how hard the man laughed.

"I know. But miss. From the start, I was already yours. So how could 'now' be yours?"

"What?" Scarlet whispered in disbelief. Even though it was very soft, Edward could still hear it.

"Since the first time I met you, I've been captivated by your charm, miss. And when Lord Fiery offered me to be your bodyguard, I was very happy. I can see you every day and be with you. I was quite sad since at first, you did not like me. You did not even pay attention to me."

Hearing Edward's explanation, Scarlet was stunned and still could not believe it.
