After several hours of travel Scarlet stopped in front of a gate.

She already arrived?

Isn't this the city gate?

Wait a minute!

Yesterday when she ran away, why does it feel longer than just now? Didn't she escape early morning and in the evening she arrived in the village?

Didn't it take at least ten hours journey? Now she had just left this afternoon, but she had arrived only within a few hours?

What happened? Was it possible because she became a knight? That's why her power could bring her home faster? Is that even possible?

No. Maybe it's because she walked aimlessly yesterday, whereas now...

Scarlet shook her head then patted her cheeks with her hands. Then she sighed. She began to doubt.

Did she deserve to return to that house? Not because she had become the red knight, but because she was afraid. She was scared that her parents would use this opportunity to throw her away.

"Scarlet!" someone shouted from afar making Scarlet look up to see who was calling her.

That person immediately ran towards her after making sure that she was the person he was looking for.

And strangely, when her eyes meet the person's eyes, her world stopped this instance.

It felt like an unknown weight has been lifted from her shoulders. All worries, all fears, all ambitions that she once had no longer that important.

All of sudden the whole world seems like a magical place to her. Her heartbeat fast, her heart was overjoyed and she had this overwhelming excitement.

Scarlet held her breath as the person hugged her tightly.

"Young miss, thank goodness. I think something happened to you."

Whooaaaaa!! She found her 'inamorato'!!" Scarlet rejoiced in her heart.

"Do you know how worried the Lord and his wife are during these two days? They couldn't stop worrying about you."

Despite she was eager to be alone with her fated one, Scarlet focused on what the man said.

"Father and mother are worrying about me?"

Edward let go of his arms and looked Scarlet straight. "Miss, The Lord, and milady haven't even eaten since yesterday. Right now milady fainted because she was weak and still unconscious. As for the Lord, he is still touring to find your whereabouts."

Hearing this, Scarlet shed tears. Not sadness one but the happy one.

"Miss, why are you crying? Are you sick? Gosh, miss, why is your body hot like this? Do you have a fever? We should go to the hospital this instance."

"No, wait. I want to meet my father first."

"Okay. After that you have to go to the hospital."

Scarlet nodded in agreement as she didn't want to debate him.

After circling looking for Lord Fiery, finally Scarlet found his father's figure and called him the instant she saw him.

"Father!"

The Lord immediately turned around and smiled broadly. He ran and hugged his daughter tightly.

"My child, my baby girl. Where have you been? Why did you disappear? Why did you run away? You gave me a heart attack!"

"Forgive me. All this time I thought you never loved me so I ran away," she answered with a sad voice.

"How could you think like that? Don't we provide all your needs? Is it not enough? Tell me what it is."

"Why have you locked me up? Why aren't you visiting me? Normal children will think the same as me if they get treated like you."

"We have good reasons for that."

"What kind of reason?"

"I can't tell you now. But by the way, why is your body so hot? Do you have a fever?" his father asked worriedly.

"No father, I'm not sick at all."
