Since the ma.s.s killings on Zeed region, its white fur became black and it became a killing machine that only fed on human flesh.

While the guardian beast of dragon clan was a red dragon. No one has ever seen the dragon in this lifetime as the dragon still inside the sh.e.l.l of the egg. It was waiting for the rightful master to call it.

That was the reason why elementalists were afraid of both clans even though Kazuto was weaker than them.

It would be a miracle if Niken was not afraid of him.

"Are you afraid of me?"

"What? No ... no ... it's just ... " Niken's head began to feel dizzy. Why did Kazuto think she was afraid of him? Could it be because of her nervousness?

"How about both of you join my team?" Niken fell silent hearing the invitation.

What!? She'll be on the same team as Kazuto? Moreover, the guy invited her first! What should she do?

Her heartbeat began to beat abysmally.

Calm down ... calm down ... she said silently calming herself.

Meanwhile, Kazuto who had very sharp hearing could hear Niken's heart beating accelerating rapidly. Kazuto had been watching Niken's gestures earlier and not once had the girl glanced at him since he sat beside her.

So it was true. The girl was afraid of him as expected.

What must he do so that Niken would not afraid of him? He did not want the girl to hate him, let alone afraid of him.

Did he see wrong when their eyes first met? He thought he could not find a ray of fear there making him hope that she wasn't scared.

Then again, he was wrong.

"It's fine if you don't want to," Kazuto said could not bear to see the girl beside him scared like that. "I just want you to know. I don't want to force you. So you don't need to be afraid of me."

After saying the last sentence he felt Niken's body become stiff and tense. He wished that girl wasn't as scared as before.In the end, he got up walked, and sat on his favorite desk, and pretended to sleep there. He hoped no one would speak to him at that time.

Niken immediately regretted her action as Kazuto stood up leaving her. Once again she glanced at Kazuto who was sleeping there. She should have immediately said yes to that man's invitation.

But she really could not hold her heart beating making her voice could not come out as she wanted. Once again Niken sighed and supported her face with both hands putting on a sad with a pensive expression.

"Hi, do you want to group with me?" Once again Niken was surprised by the invitation. She got more confused when she discovered s.h.i.+n Ha was the one who invited her. "Well, if you don't mind we will group with Kazuto as well. What do you think?"

Niken immediately got up and answered in a hurry. "Yes ... I want ... cough," she said it so quickly till her throat get choked.

"Are you okay?" asked the senior worriedly.

Niken immediately took her drinking bottle and drank it slowly so she wouldn't choke again. "I am alright. Forgive me. I mean I'd love to be a group with you."

"That's good. We will discuss it once we receive the location from Sir Hak."

"Ah ..." Niken called as s.h.i.+n Ha headed to the bench beside Kazuto. "Can I invite my friend?"

"Of course." s.h.i.+n Ha smiled.

"Thank you."

s.h.i.+n Ha walked to the sleeping Kazuto with a frown look. Why the girl looked happier with him instead of Kazuto?

This is bad. If the girl fell in love with s.h.i.+n Ha, what would happen to Kazuto?
