"Ouch..." 

"I'm sorry, Haruka. I hit your teeth! I was just excited."  Lila looked away, embarra.s.sed. How could she hit his teeth like that? There is a limit to how shameful she can behave.

 "Pfft, I know. Calm down a bit. Let's take our time." 

 When she saw that he was not mad, a relieved sigh escaped her lips. Lila leaned forward. "Let me do it?"

  "You sure, your already really red?" 

 "Um, I promise not to explode."

"Alright, then."

Sh,e said she wanted to. But uh, maybe she should change positions? She's going to have to; otherwise, she might hurt him. Lila s.h.i.+fts herself on top of him and blushes. Uhh.. That's right, and he kept his s.h.i.+rt off. What did those magazines say again?

Something about being on top? Lila did not understand it very well when she read it the first time. But now that she has put it into practice several times already, Lila understood it.

 "Um, Haruka, close your eyes now." 

"Not yet." 

"Wah, this is embarra.s.sing." 

 "It's fine, you love me, right?" 

 In other words, because she loves him other, she should be able to touch him. It's challenging for her. She's never once thought that Haruka would look at her with such eyes; no from the very start, he always looked at her differently. But she never understood the meaning.

"I --I love you, Haruka." Maybe if she tells him, it will lessen her nerves? 

  "I couldn't hear that." 

   "Ah! I love you so much. " 

  "That was louder, but hmm, what's missing?" 

  "Ah! A cuddle." 

  "Pffft. Think again.." 

When she saw the smirk on his expression, she flushes even redder. Wah, he's doing this on purpose. But she has to tell him everything, if she doesn't, he will never understand.

"Exhageratting much?" 

Lila shook her head, "I really can't live without you anymore, Haruka." By this point, tears started to fall from her eyes. She wonders what this feeling is. She already knew a long time ago that she could no longer live without Haruka, and she told him that too. So many times in the past, and yet why is it bringing tears to her eyes now? "Wah, forget it. I sound silly. Don't look at me now, Kiryu." 

He responds to that by bringing his thumb over her eyelids, "I'm not going to forget this moment. Lila. You're even more beautiful than usual. Hey, will you kiss me? Make it a long one." 

He's really a dummy. But she loves him so much.

The intimate and adult-like kiss you taught her, she hasn't experienced it enough, so it might not be good. But right now, she wants to show you her deepest love. She wants to show -- her thoughts broke off when they felt a rumbling sound.

Haruka protectively wrapped his arms around her. 

"Earthquake?" Lila asked.

"No, this is ---" He opened the curtain. "It's your mother."

Lila immediately pulled away from him and turned to the window. Dark clouds and the surroundings gradually turning dark. Black b.u.t.terflies flew around the air and seemed to gather around one spot.

"I thought Sumire-san would handle things calmly but, did somebody provoke her?"

At that comment, she recalled Lucifer, who was still around and frowned. Could that man have said something?

"But, this is indeed the best way to lure those people out from hiding." Haruka draped his coat around her shoulders. "Should we check it out? You're pregnant, but I am sure it isn't harmful to you."

All the negative energy and b.u.t.terflies headed to was a park at the edge of town. Thankfully there were no other people in sight. Lila wondered why n.o.body had noticed it yet. By the time they reached the location, her mother seemed to be finis.h.i.+ng up.

A black circle with marks she did not understand and an annoyed looking Kusaji Atsuro at the corner.

"Sumire, finish up already."

Sumire laughed softly. "Don't worry so much, Atsuro, I am okay."

Despite the smile on her mother's face, Lila sensed how anxious she was. She did not have to look at her mother's face to understand either. Mother must miss father. The two separated for seven whole years. It is no wonder she is desperate.

After a few minutes, the dark energy seemed to disappear instantly. Before her mother could collapse, an arm shot out and grabbed her. "This is your idea of okay?" Atsuro scolded.

"Uh, you caught me, sorry, sorry."

Lila blinked at the sight. Atsuro-san reacted quickly there. It seems like she was wrong after all. The guys who liked mother back then still like her even now. It would not surprise her if even now, some still wish to be with her.

"Anyhow, quit acting like a child in front of your daughter."

At that comment, mother glanced over and in was hugging her tightly in seconds. "My cute daughter!" Sumire rubbed her face against her hair. "Ah, you smell like your father, after all."

"Mommy, your embarra.s.sing me."

Sumire kept laughing. "But, you really do resemble Yuhi a lot recently." Her gaze softened. "The fact that your exactly like him makes me miss him even more."

Her eyes widened when she heard those words. To think mother can admit that so easily now. Back when she was a child and father was not around, mother kept her act together. Lila recalled asking her mother so many times if she missed father or if she was lonely. Mother used to say she was silly.

'I have no time to miss him since I have you.'

"Anyhow, did you come here alone? Where is your husband?"

At that comment, Lila turned around and realized something. The s.p.a.ce Haruka stood moments ago was empty. Where did he go? Why did he leave so suddenly? It isn't like him to just disappear without saying anything.

She looked around with a worried expression when she heard the sound of her phone.
