"S-sorry."

Haruka shook his head, "I wore you out last night.."

At the mention of last night, he noted how the girl's expression changed to a scowl. Huh? Is she mad after all? She seemed willing the previous night. Though she still trembled to a small degree, it wasn't as bad as it was before. Based on what happened in the hallway, that kiss, Haruka knows that it cant be because he touched her. The girl is silent for a few minutes as she pulled away from his neck. Is she sulking? How come? Could it be possible that she's jealous of Natsuki.

The last thought, however, held no bias, it's not the first time she has seen him sleep around with other girls. For the meantime, she doesn't know about his and Natsuki's relations.h.i.+p. He wants it to remain that way. But it likely won't be long before somebody tells her or she makes the connection herself.

Should he tell her? What good would that do though? It's not like the two of them are dating; he isn't obliged to tell her anything. That's right; he isn't required to say anything. So, his thoughts broke off when he found the girl burying her face in his neck again. He blinked, is she still hungry?

"Perfume.. you smell like it.."

"Huh? Oh.." Must have been Natsuki.

"Haruka... I don't like this scent.."

Uh, she doesn't like it? Perhaps the perfume is terrible? He doesn't pay attention to aroma on other women other than her. Haruka doesn't have time to ask since she suddenly pulled away. Lila slumped on the bed, and pulled the surrounding blanket around herself.

"I'm sleeping now... So.."

So now she wants him to leave? Hey, hey. It worried him that something happened. Why did she run off? She would usually wait until he's done or interrupts in the middle. He isn't exactly sure why he even chased after her.

Haruka quickly decided and laid down beside the girl. At first, she ignored him, but she got closer and closer. He pulled her into his arms, "L-let go."

"I don't know why you're sulky, but stop now. I want to relax."

"...Haruka, you left.."Lila mumbled.

Left? It took him a second to realize what the girl meant. Oh. Oh, that's why she's angry? Well, he supposes going after doing that would make any girl uncomfortable. But.

"I thought you knew already; I don't normally.."

"I know.. Maybe, I'm taking advantage of your kindness too much. But lately, you've been staying so. I.." The girl didn't have to finish her sentence. That's true; recently he has been staying.

Since when was it?

As Haruka retraced his memory for a particular day, he noted how the girl kept looking him up and down. Gradually the girls face turned red. Haruka blinked in amus.e.m.e.nt, is she checking him out? He gently touched the girl's cheek, "So... Is there something you want to tell me?"

Lila shook her head.

"Are you sure?"

"I—'m sure…" she stammered.

She's not budging on this matter. It irritated Haruka that he doesn't know.

Dream Stars Training Dorm, 4:00 PM

"Huh? Isn't it obvious that she's in love with you?" Jae-hee said.

"Mikami aside, why are you saying that too?"

Jae-hee looked at him in disbelief and sighed, "So this is the famous player…"

"Whose famous…"

"No seriously, what a letdown. How many girls have you slept with? Seen and courted because of the boss? Though you weren't in any proper relations.h.i.+ps before, you at least courted a girl before.."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"It means, you should understand the signs when a girl is in L-O-V-E with you." Jae-hee spelled out.

In love? Her? With him? It's impossible. He doesn't know why she broke up with Austin Kiryu but, "She still loves that guy."

Jaeehe sighed again, "Hey, can I pour this water on you?"

"Like I'd say yes."

"Lila must have thought long and hard before breaking up with Austin Kiryu. Like you said before. She has strong feelings for him, and the connection between the two isn't simple at all. However, regardless of all this, she broke up with him. I can't think of any other reason than her falling in love with you."

"But, I can tell she still …"

Jae-hee nodded, "You aren't wrong there. Lila still likes him. But she's choosing to sacrifice her feelings to be with you."

"I gave him a hint, was that enough?" Jaehee called out.

Lila nodded and stepped out, "I'm sorry you had to do this. It felt like didn't notice, even when I was obvious…"

Jaehee laughed, "Well you spent this whole time pus.h.i.+ng him away. Oh, did the s.e.x finally make you change your mind?"

The girl's face flushed red, "That's not it.."

"But wasn't that the first time you somewhat consented? The first since you realized your feelings?"

Lila slowly nodded.

"Then, you must admit. It must have played an important role." Jae-hee said with a ma.s.sive grin on her face.

The girl frantically shook her head, and she laughed. This one is honestly fun to tease.

"All that aside. I think you ought to tell Haruka soon."

"Ah-huh… But I've never confessed to anyone before; I'm not sure how to go about it…" Lila shyly said.

Jae-hee looked at her with wide eyes and murmured. Why are they acting like a crazy couple already?
