All people gathered up and enjoyed themselves in a restaurant. While sitting around a large table they also started to talk about today's event.

"So, Goku. You are going to marry now, huh? d.a.m.n, I feel the time is flying by too much. I still remember our younger days when we only were training for the first world martial arts tournament.", said Krillin.

"Are you already going senile?", asked Darc after hearing him talk as if he was already an old gramps.

"I am just stating the obvious.", he said back looking at Darc.

"Or he is just sour that Goku is faster in getting married.", grinned Yamcha.

"Hmpf, weren't you the one that searched for a wife all this time and now can't decide what to do?", rebuked Krillin.

Yamcha looked at Krillin with somewhat narrowed eyes. "Come to think of it. We still didn't get to settle our score, have we...?"

"Stop it, you two.", interrupted Bulma their little talk. "We are here to celebrate and not bicker. Since you already asked about Goku his marriage. Chi-Chi, why are you so determined to marry Goku?", she asked her while really wanting to know the cause of her action.

"Yeah, I wonder about that myself now.", added Goku. "Isn't marriage something you do with people you know for a long time?"

"Hmm?", reacted Chi-Chi and blushed now being asked this. "Well, it all happened when we were younger. Goku touched me in my privates...So I determined that he would be the one. And I really love him."

Darc almost choked on his beverage he drank when he heard her being so honest about it.

Bulma her lips also twitched. "You mean...he patted your crotch?" Silence came over the group after hearing this ridiculous reason.

"Hahaha... that really sounds like Goku.", said Krillin with a wry laugh.

"I am not doing that anymore, though.", said Goku in defense.

Darc made sure he would use his brain more and see the obvious differences between genders. But for Goku, everyone probably looks the same. Just like every monkey looks the same for humans. Why does Frieza come to mind?

"True, but getting married with just that. Chi-Chi, you do realize Goku did that to differentiate genders, right?", asked Darc her and came back into the conversation.

"Well, I knew it after we talked about it. After all, I did smack him after he did it. But at that point, I realized that I had fallen for his pure heart. He was so oblivious to it. And it was somewhat cute.", explained Chi-Chi with a bright smile.

"That is about right. But to be truthful. He still is somewhat...oblivious, like you said. And you are certain about your decision?", asked Bulma now after her first headache was gone. She even remembers telling Goku not to do anything stupid and he still did it. It did end somewhat different than she thought it would, but still.

"Yes!", she said loudly and hugged Goku his arm. Goku only scratched his head. "Well, I did promise after all. So I cant break that. Grandpa told so after all."

"Then lets us congratulate you. Everyone, lift your gla.s.ses!", smiled Darc and toasted for this moment. Everyone followed suit and drank.

Arkis came over to Bulma and whispered into her ears.

"Thank you, Arkis", she said back.

Darc noticed this and got curious. "What are you two whispering about?", he asked.

"Nothing much. Arkis just brought Trunks back home when he fell asleep.", she answered him.

"Right. Thank you, Arkis.", said Darc now as well and looked at her. Arkis smiled back at him and also joined the group around the table.

"Hey, Darc. Are you really sure it was such a good idea to let Piccolo go?", asked Tien since it bothered him somewhat and he needed an answer.

"Yeah, isn't that a little bit risky? He did some real damage when you were gone, you know?", added Bulma now.

"Guys, its Piccolo Jr. and not Piccolo. You are comparing two different people. And I actually can tell you some funny story about Piccolo. When I noticed him once in a forest he was looking into a house with a family celebrating a birthday. He really looked pretty jealous and sad that he himself did not have a family anymore. Just think about it that way.", explained Darc to them.

Everyone listened and Goku grinned. "Yeah, I also didn't feel the same about this Piccolo as I did in the past. He felt much friendlier."

"Well, friendly to some extent at least. He still became so jealous that he broke into the house and destroyed the birthday present from the child and ran away.", laughed Darc it off while giving more info about his shenanigans.

"That's awful.", frowned Bulma after hearing the second part. At first, she felt sympathy for him because he was like an orphan at that point. But now that thought vanished.

"Well, he didn't hurt the people, right?", asked Krillin after this.

"Exactly, if he really wanted to he could have. But he didn't. At that point, I knew he wouldn't turn out the same as the old Piccolo.", agreed Darc to Krillin his words.

"But why does he know about us so much?", asked Yamcha.

"The old Piccolo probably let him inherit his memory. But emotions are something that change with time. He may have been thirsty for revenge but then slowly started to feel differently. He probably thinks he can only conquer the world after he can beat Goku in a fair fight.", said Darc and leaned back.

"Oh, come to think of it. Darc, did you by chance train Piccolo?", asked Goku.

"What are you talking about, Goku. Why would Darc train him?", said Krillin from the side.

"I want to know that as well. I think I know where that question originates from.", mixed Tien in.

Darc looked at Goku and Tien. "I did.", he said nonchalantly.

"What!? You did!?", shouted Krillin in surprise.

"Hehe, just like I thought. I seem to have noticed the moves looked familiar.", chuckled Goku.

"Why would you train our enemy?", asked Tien again.

"So that you guys improve as well. I can't just train the one side but ignore the other, right? Where is the fun in that? Oh, and don't tell that to Kami. He will probably bicker even more than he already was.", laughed Darc now.

"Isn't that irresponsible? You are basically asking to get killed. What if Son-kun lost?", said Bulma after hearing this.

"Am I? Don't worry. I am not creating anything that could be a danger. And if Goku lost I would have probably knocked out Piccolo and teleported him on another planet. Since he did want a planet. He could just conquer that one.", smiled Darc and actually thought about Namek. What would have happened if that really was the case?

"Oh yeah, how is your journey in s.p.a.ce going along?", asked Krillin after getting curious. They already knew what Darc did as a job. So they were aware of s.p.a.ce and aliens. "Are s.p.a.ce chicks hot?", he added to his question.

Darc looked at him with raised brows.

"What? It is just a question, right?", said Krillin again.

"Is it now, hehe.", laughed Yamcha slightly.

"They are.", answered Darc after thinking about something. Bulma got angry at that statement. "Oh, really?", she asked immediately.

"Yeah, just look at Arkis. There are some that can rival our most beautiful woman on earth.", said Darc again and smiled at Bulma. She blushed now after noticing him calling her most beautiful. Seems like he saved his a.s.s.

"Oh right. I forgot that Arkis is an alien.", noted Krillin.

"It's offworlder.", corrected Arkis him.

"Huh?", exclaimed Krillin in a little bit of confusion.

"It's not alien but offworlder. For me, you are also an alien, you know. We got a term for beings not from one´s home planet.", she repeated again.

"Right, sorry.", said Krillin after he noticed that Arkis got a little bit offended.

"Well, coming back to the previous question. It's going pretty well. But my job is on a pretty far away part of the universe. Just the trip to the headquarter there takes months.", explained Darc and changed that little awkward moment Arkis and Krillin had.

"It is still interesting. I wonder if I ever will be going to s.p.a.ce at some point, hehe", grinned Krillin now.

"Get stronger and than you may join the GP. But until then you should train more", grinned Darc back.

"Are the people from s.p.a.ce strong ones?", asked Goku and got excited.

Darc sighed at his reaction. This Goku still has only fighting in his head. "You should take some time with your family, Goku. Your wedding is also probably coming up soon. Let's celebrate now and talk about such things another time."

That said everyone enjoyed the rest of the evening and celebrated deep into the night until everyone dispersed.
