Kami his lookout was very desolate and there were some damages around the building but luckily it didn't matter all too much for that.

Darc looked around where the door was and needed to push some rubble to the side that was close to it.

"Good, the entrance is still here. I will warn you all again. Very few can handle being inside this place for a year and we are going to break that rule and make two years out of it. And normally only 2 people should enter. The only way getting out of there will then be if we are strong enough to rip the s.p.a.ce apart with our energy alone. Do you understand?", said Darc to them in a serious tone.

Darc watched their expressions become serious and they nodded in agreement nonetheless.

"I will trust you, dad. Mom always said if you were here you would get this problem solved. And if this really is for us to get stronger, then so be it. We will somehow manage to get out.", said Trunks back.

Darc smiled. So this Bulma trusted him more than Goku in such cases? Well, it is a little bit to be expected.

"I will also not back down now. My father always talked greatly about you. And I still remember the days on Namek when we all fought Frieza. Even with Dad and Vegeta going Super Saiyan we still didn't manage to beat him without your help.", said Gohan now and clenched his fist. "Oh, wait. From what timeline are you again? Can I even talk about these things?", he asked after noticing his slip of the tongue.

Arkis was also curious about that matter. "Does it influence our own time if we help you out?", she asked.

"It is alright. Whatever I get from here will only change my timeline. That is also somewhat of a flaw in the time machine. Instead of fixing things it will only create distortion in the time but nonetheless. Once connected to a timeline you can always return there to get help if needed. I presume since I am here, your timeline will now be connected to mine.", said Darc and smiled. "Oh, and I am from about 20 years from the past."

"So even if we used the time machine. Our world would have been still the same.", contemplated Gohan. "So you training us is really the only way."

Darc nodded. "Now, let's go inside.", he said and opened the time chamber.

Inside the hyperbolic time chamber, the air was dry hot and thin. Maybe a little bit too thin for four people. Darc frowned about that right at the moment he entered. Was s.p.a.ce here like a bottle that was closed? Looks like he would have to have some results in half a years time or else something bad may happen. But let's hope he is not right about that.

The gravity was also much higher than earth.

"Really, this place is something.", said Darc and made a grabbing motion in the air. Then he walked further to the vast white s.p.a.ce.

"Whoa, no wonder one could go insane in this place. There is nothing here...", exclaimed Trunks after following up and he was a little bit shaken.

"Keep calm, Trunks. That is also why we are four people and not alone. Like that, we can keep going longer.", explained Darc.

"It will still be a hard time.", said Gohan with a smile. That was the first one he saw from him since he arrived here. The people from this Timeline resembled their counterparts but still were different.

"About that. Dad, do you really think I am of any use?", asked Trunks now with some doubts in his mind.

Darc arched up his eyebrows. "What's this now?" Then he looked at Arkis. "Did my future me not train him?"

"He did train him. It's just since the Saiyan have the Super Saiyan state it became harder for him to keep up...", answered Arkis and looked at Trunks.

"That is a problem?", he said and looked at his son. In a way, he knew how he felt. "Well, then let me show you a transformation for you to use. What you really make out of the time here is up to you. If you learn it you would boost your strength. But my future counterpart should have already told you. True strength only comes from your base form. All those transformations and techniques hinder you to achieve true strength.", he added.

Trunks was surprised by the words and Gohan frowned "What do you mean by that?", he asked him.

"You haven't figured it out? You are relying too much on your Super Saiyan transformation. It's already to the point where you only fight in that state. But just think about it. The Super Saiyan boosts your base. If your base stays the same you will hardly improve at all. And your base only improves after hard training or when you fight someone stronger in your base. Going Super Saiyan makes the fight easier and therefore minimizes the gain after the fight. That is also why the androids mumbled about something like you not improving as fast anymore as you did prior to Super Saiyan 2 and they are not wrong in that a.s.sumption.", said Darc. "That is why no transformations in the first year. After that, I will let you use them to get familiar with them. You will see the difference."

Gohan his mouth twitched. Did he really rely too much on his Saiyan heritage? He cast down his gaze. Darc noticed that. "Hey, Gohan. You shouldn't take it that much to heart. Just try to make your Super Saiyan a part of your base...", he added.

"Now, let me show what I wanted to show. Actually, I haven't used it myself until now so let's see what happens together.", said Darc and positioned himself a little bit further away from them.

Then he charged his ki up and a white cone surrounded him constantly. It slowly increased in size.

"Such immense ki...", exclaimed Trunks "Dad was always that strong?"

"He is way stronger than I remember.", noticed Arkis with a pleased smile. "Now, do you believe me that you also have such potential?" She did try to always get his hopes up so that he wouldn't sulk on being weaker than the others since he was human. He can become an incredible martial artist if he just believed in himself.

"Unbelievable. With this amount, he could easily take me on in my Super Saiyan state but that is about it.", said Gohan after feeling the ki.

"You forget his Kaioken that he has, Gohan", said Arkis. Gohan only nodded to that. "And whatever he is going to show now.", added Gohan.

Darc already closed his eyes and concentrated his energies inside his body. They traveled through every channel in his body. ´It should be around here. Let's hope I don't hit the heart or else going berserk is bad. Now I need to acc.u.mulate enough ki and slowly anger myself.´, he thought to himself.

The energy started to collect at a little gate and tapped at it slowly. With the dark thoughts, he had when he entered this timeline, Darc could get himself somewhat angry and slowly he could see that little gate opening. Trying even harder it only opened to a certain point but that was enough. Now Darc pushed all the energy through that little gap to rip it open.

From outside one could see how his ki rapidly increased and his aura grew stronger every second.

"That! No way! His ki is rising!", said Gohan in disbelief at first and a serious expression was placed on is face after noticing something. "This feeling...don't tell me..." The familiarity he felt from this was so striking. But that cant be.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!", shouted Darc out. His hair rose into a spikey position and his ki bursted out violently in all directions.

The other three protected themselves from the pressure that attacked them. Arkis stood in front of Trunks to help him out and Gohan even turned Super Saiyan to keep standing.

The ki from Darc slowly calmed down and build up a golden aura around his body. At first, that was about everything that really changed. But when he slowly opened his eyes one could see that they brightly shone with a yellow color.

Darc looked at his hands and the energy coursing through his body right now was amazing. No wonder Goku and the other Saiyan relied so much on it. It consumed a lot of ki but that was not a problem after getting such a high ki control as Darc had. His control probably also was the factor that let him enter this transformation.

Then he smiled and looked at the others. He breathed out and his ki became normal again. The shine in his eyes vanished and his ki dispersed. "So, how was it. The so-called Super Saiyan that is.", he asked them with a teasing chuckle. "Though it's more of a Super Human now, is it?", he added to the last words.

Gohan was completely taken by that and had his mouth wide open. Trunks had also big eyes in disbelief. Only Arkis smiled brightly at that display.

"That...that feeling was exactly like my father when he transformed. But how? Was the Super Saiyan not a legend only Saiyans could transform into?", asked Gohan now with a frown. He already reverted back to his base form as well.

"You are mistaken, Gohan. There never was a legend about a Super Saiyan. There is only a legend about a Saiyan G.o.d and a Saiyan Devil. Those are two different things. You call them the Super Saiyan and Legendary Super Saiyan. That is if the last t.i.tle even ring a bell for you.", explained Darc.

Then he clapped his hands once. "Alright, let's stop this conversation and start training. We don't have much time to get you to at least my level. Trunks, I hope that gave you enough motivation to keep going further.", he added and now wanted to start with the training.

Being shocked at this truth, Gohan had to calm down first. The energy that Darc showed just now surpa.s.sed everything that he ever felt. And Darc looked like he suppressed most of it. Only with the first stage, Darc was already much stronger than he was in the second stage?

He gritted his teeth at first but then sighed. After calming down somewhat he did nod in confirmation to start the training. The other two were also ready for the training.
