Vegeta only frowned and also got into his stance. There was somewhat of slight hesitation in that action.

"d.a.m.n it, Kakarot. I would have never thought that our positions would change someday." Vegeta lamented this outcome.

All these years he spent on earth made him become a protector of earth. And all that was only possible because Goku beat him and started to show his goodwill.

That he slowly build up a family on this planet also was a factor that influenced his change into a good person but in the end, everything started with Goku.

And now there was Goku. Completely changed in a way that made him evil. Was he also like this?

"You don't know anything, Vegeta. You don't know how it is to be trapped inside your body without any control of it. Seeing my other self doing the dumbest things made me so angry sometimes that I nearly went insane from anger. But even that was not enough to escape that prison and get my body back." Kakarot gritted his teeth and locked angered now. "If it were me I would have killed you on that day you invaded earth."

"I see. So you had not only amnesia but also schizophrenia. Or is it a split personality? Are you sure you would have become as strong as you are now without the help of your former self?"

Kakarot laughed. "Do you really think Goku had that talent in martial arts just from nothing? Or that it was his Saiyan genes at work?" His laugh changed into a smirk. "The one that watched and a.n.a.lyzed the martial arts from everyone he met was me. I was the one that influenced him to adapt and learn. Without me, Goku would never have reached his current power."

"..." Darc just squinted his eyes at his words and frowned.

"Enough chit-chat. The first thing I will do is eradicate this G.o.dd.a.m.n planet. And you two are the ones I will start with to prove that there is no one that can stop me." Kakarot grinned maliciously and started to build up energy. while he did that he also seemed to lose his little bit of sanity that he seemed to have.

Darc at first thought him dangerous already but now it was even more so apparent.

"He really lost his mind. Be careful Vegeta. His movements are already completely different than before."

"I know." Vegeta didn't deny that fact and only started to concentrate on the fight.

Kakarot rushed at Darc and exchanged a few punches with him. Some strikes did hit him and let him receive damage but Darc was no pushover and also dealt some damage.

Vegeta interjected a few attacks and tried to synchronize himself with Darc. Both of them started a barrage of attacks on Kakarot that was extremely sporadic. With that wild flurry of attacks, Kakarot could not handle all of it and executed a ki eruption to push them away and also distance himself from the danger of being drown in their combo.

When Kakarot had a brief moment of respite he stared at his hand and clenched it into a fist. His smile became even bigger since now his blood was starting to boil. He was slowly gaining full control of his body. It seems fighting was really the only way to regain absolute control of this body.

Then his green pupils glanced over to a certain person with spiky hair. His body did that signature movement and he sends a Kamehamehwave straight at Vegeta.

Vegeta reacted in time and shot a Galick Gun back. The beam struggle started after each beam crashed against each other. But Vegeta looked way too beat up to hold up for long.

That is why Darc moved behind Kakarot. "You are wide open!" Darc stretched out one hand and put his other hand around his wrist. Electricity started ama.s.sing itself in front of his palm and quickly formed a large ball of ki. "Pulsar Strike!" That Ball shot out very quickly and was about to reach Kakarot.

"Hmpf" Kakarot just let go from his Kamehameha with one hand and pointed that free hand towards the incoming attack. Then a second Kamehameha shot out from his free hand and started a beam struggle with Darc.

Now all three of them were doing this but by logic, Kakarot should be the one that would lose this the first because he wasted so much energy. But contrary to that it seemed that he didn't even start to get tired or anything.

More so he gained more and more power. His Ki seemed to start rising.

Darc only clicked with his tongue and stopped this waste of energy.

When he stopped his output, the Kamehame from Kakarot reached him. But before it hit, Darc formed a protective ki layer over his whole body and jumped on top of the beam.

He was able to touch the beam without damaging himself and made a forward salto. Landing on top of the beam with his feet he started to rush up the beam. Because it was not an air technique that that was used, he ran as if he was on the ground and that speed was significantly faster.

He reached Kakarot in a flash and Kakarot, on the other hand, could only look at Darc incoming kick to his face in surprise.

The kick landed and catapulted Kakarot straight into a mountain range. His two beams were also interrupted with that.

"HAAAA!!!"

Darc frowned and looked over to Vegeta that was now screaming and charging up energy. It didn't take long and it looked like Vegeta entered Super Saiyan 2.

"If he is able to go to that form, then..." Darc looked back over to the location he kicked Kakarot to.

"You guessed it..." Kakarot his voice sounded at the exact moment Darc looked over. Kakarot managed to appear right beside him and was already initiating a punch at him.

With no option to dodge Darc activated his turtle skin. His skin became blackish-brown instantly to protect him from the punch that landed and send him down to the ground, smashing everything into debris that he touched. The crated produced with him landing was immensely large.

Even though he negated some of the power in that punch his internal organs still received some of that damage.

Darc spurted out some blood. And not being an idiot he immediately rolled to the side tried to avoid any other attacks. And luckily he did actually dodge the follow-up attacks.

"Interesting techniques you got there.", said Kakarot with a smirk when he stopped pursuing Darc. The black electric arcs that pulsated around his golden aura made his evil smile even more intimidating. "Should I thank you to push me so much that I now have enough energy to use this level of power? I can clearly feel my energy rising and rising. It is even becoming more powerful than ever!! Come! Show me more!"

"Don't forget about me, Kakarot!!!" Vegeta was already trying to attack Kakarot again but this time his attempt was for naught. Kakarot just evaded his attacks and retaliated with punching Vegeta in his solar plexus.

Vegeta gasped for breath and looked down at the fist that hit him. It was clad in a dark ki aura. "You..."

Kakarot only smirked and punched a few more times and then kicked him away.

Vegeta only landed on the ground and his golden hair reverted back to his black normal state.

Darc saw this and was definitely not happy about this outcome. "You copied my technique..."

Kakarot only looked over to him. "So what? In battle, there is no rule that we cant steal our opponent's moves. And besides, most moves are based on the same very foundations.", explained Kakarot after hearing Darc complain. "And you of all people should be the least to complain about stolen techniques, no, Mister Copy-Cat? I can see all those basics from the different martial art schools from Earth in your moves."

"Now, let's enjoy this fight some more or is it that this is all you got? I would be really disappointed if you can't go any further."

Darc gritted his teeth. He was getting angry for some reason and started rambling on just like when he was younger. And that didn't mix well with his frustration building up while having to keep fighting and fighting. "Urgh, just shut up already you f.u.c.king moron. How about you go and f.u.c.k yourself if you are so d.a.m.n proud of the power that Goku achieved for you. You can't do anything but steal, can you? First, you start stealing Goku his body, then his moves and now mine? What else?"

That rant actually ticked Kakarot off "This was my body from the beginning! Alright, then just die already with this pathetic planet."

Kakarot charged upwards and formed a ma.s.sive energy ball over his head with one hand. That technique was that from Frieza. If this attack hit the earth then it would be goodbye.

"Father!!" At that moment another person moved over. It was Gohan and the others.

"Oh, look at that. So you finally regained your consciousness? What a disgrace of a warrior. That took way too long. Now I decided to eradicate you together with this planet."

"How can you do something like this! Were you not always the protector of this planet?"

"Don't make me laugh."

While Gohan argued with Kakarot and seemed to somewhat buy time Darc started to figure out some options to use. But his body became sluggish and his mind was starting to get fuzzy from the wounds he received. He could even feel some blood flowing down his forehead from a wound at his head.

Even though this little battle was shortlived he did receive a tremendous amount of damage. Vegeta being knocked out just shows what a hard puncher this Kakarot was.

"Grandpa!" Now even Pan joined and actually got closer to Kakarot.

Kakarot stared at her tearful eyes and something switched inside his mind. He stopped forming his energy ball and recollected the energy.

´Huh?" Darc was confused.

But the next moment Darc could only stare in surprise and shock. Kakarot aimed a hand at Pan and pulverized her into ash. He completely forgot that this is not a world where the good always win. Just now a child died by the hands of her grandfather. Darc had a complicated look on his face and cast his eyes to the ground. He was. .h.i.t mentally and had to process something.

"PAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!" Gohan, on the other hand, saw this action and cried out in rage. At that moment his heart was broken and all his rage started to flow out of himself like a tidal wave. His ki erupted and his hate took over his mind.

Gohan never really had a very perfect relationship with his father since he always treated him second to martial arts. Even Piccolo was more of a father to him than Goku. And now this man even dared to kill his daughter. At this moment, his heart was only filled with rage. And this helped Gohan to reach his utmost highest power once more.

He entered straight into Super Saiyan 2. But his eyes were completely white from his anger. His body also started bulging and the aura he emitted changed slightly with blue energy mixing into his golden flare.

The others that also arrived at this moment could only look in shock at this power that was shown. Trunks who was also one of them saw his father lying on the ground with wounds and went over to him.

"What happened?", asked Trunks the still affected Darc. With that question, Darc actually regained his composure.

His face and demeanor became dark and cold. "This Kakarot...needs to perish. I am sorry but there is no way to return him to normal..." Then he looked up to Gohan. "Just gotta make sure that Gohan doesn't die as well. I will prepare something. Get Vegeta and everyone else somewhere safe..."

"What do you mean? We can't just...."

"DO WHAT I TOLD YOU!" Darc glared at Trunks. The more he looked at this kid the more he saw Bulma in him. That made his mood even worse.

"...Alright." Trunks was a little bit scared by that and picked up Vegeta. He flew over to the other and told them that they need to get to safety. Some of them argued to stay and help but Piccolo seemed to talk some sense into them.

Kakarot looked at his son's new transformation and actually began to smile once more. "Well, look at that. You always seem to surprise me."
