Landing on solid ground Dark looked down at Vegeta that was mostly now a solid lump of meat under his left arm. He raised a brow in slight surprise that he is still out cold.

Shortly after he noticed the others approach him. Albeit somewhat with caution. Dark smiled and tossed Vegeta´s body to Gohan.

"Catch!", he shouted together with his action.

Gohan was somewhat surprised but still dutifully caught Vegeta as instructed. His main focus didn't remain on the body that was tossed to him but back at Dark.

The first one of the present people that dared to talk to this person with fiery red hair was actually Pan. "Are you grandpa?"

"Not exactly, Pan.", denied Dark and walked closer to her. He put a hand on her head and softly rubbed it with a smile on his face like Goku used to do. "But your grandfather is part of me. So you are not entirely wrong."

Trunks and Goten both exhaled in relief. "So you did it? Who are you? And who is the other half of you that is not Goku?", asked Trunks now.

Dark stayed silent and walked a few steps backward, away from the group. "My current name is Dark. And about my other self. Just ask him. It is about time we defused anyway."

And just when he said that his hair turned to black and he started to glow for a short second and defused into two people. One of them being a small child Goku and the other being Darc.

"Urgh...." Darc gritted his teeth because he felt an unbelievable amount of exhaustion a.s.sault him after they defused from their fusion state. And he was not able to stand much longer and just collapsed and sat down on his b.u.t.t. Goku himself was already lying on the ground with all his limbs outstretched not even trying to fight the exhaustion.

"Is it always so tiring after the fusion expires?", asked Darc now and glanced over to Goten and Trunks. All the while he tried to get his breathing back under control.

"Yeah, mostly. And you guys did fuse in a very damaged state so it is even worse?", answered Goten after nodding to it in acknowledgment.

"You are a human, right?", asked Vegeta now from the side. He finally woke up and was leaning on Gohan´s shoulder.

Darc looked at him and smiled. "I am. Right, my name is Darc. You asked about it."

Vegeta only remained silent after he got his answer and looked to Goku. "Kakarot, you finished him?"

"Nah, without his help we would not have made it. But..." Goku now pushed himself back up and looked at Darc. "That G.o.d form we used is really something else. That there is an entirely different path...Well, now I know about Super Saiyan 4 and about the Saiyan G.o.d form. I am getting excited to try and learn it myself." Goku smiled and his eyes vibrated with a happy shine.

"Tsk" Vegeta clicked his tongue. He felt defeated and left behind again.

"Hehe, what are you so hurt about? Your own SSJ4 form gave us a run for the money and we had to use the fusion technique in the end. Don't tell me you are still bitter about Goku having a slight headstart now?", said Darc to Vegeta when he noticed his clicking.

"What do you mean?" asked Vegeta back.

"Don't tell me you really think Baby was only able to use those forms because he played around with your body?"

"Are you saying I can achieve them as well?" Vegeta got a little bit excited on his own now after hearing his words.

"Sure, why not? Just get regrown your Saiyan tail like Goku and it should be an easy matter."

"My tail? That will be somewhat of a problem. It got damaged by that d.a.m.n fata.s.s Yajirobe years ago when I came with Nappa to earth. It couldn't be saved. Normally our tails grow back but that only happens when we are still young. After we are fully grown it won't regrow.", grumbled Vegeta now a little after thinking about it.

"Goku also got the help of the old supreme kai. Just ask them to help out." Then Darc slowly stood up. "Now then. Since I did what I was here for I should leave. Playing around even more with this timeline is going to be bad otherwise."

"Huh? So you are just like Trunks?", asked Goku. "Man, I would have liked to have a go with you. Even if you are not yet on our level when we go full power but I can feel it. You already improved, didn't you?"

Darc only smiled at Goku his evaluation. Clenching his fists he could feel his ki slowly being recharged naturally. "Maybe we will have that fight when I come to visit sometime later. How about that?"

"Sure, that's alright as well. I will have learned the Saiyan G.o.d by then though. So be careful." Goku smiled sheepishly.

"Just take care not to perish before that." Darc took out the scroll "Until then." With a flash of light, Darc disappeared.

Vegeta crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Do you think we will see him again?"

"Probably? I hope so at least.", grinned Goku now. "Alright, everyone. Let us fix this mess Baby did."

"Dragonb.a.l.l.s?", asked Goten.

"Dragonb.a.l.l.s.", nodded Goku in confirmation.

Meanwhile in the original timeline somewhere in the northern quadrant of universe 7.

Two people were walking a corridor. It was Salza with Banando. And right at this moment Banando suddenly stumbled and nearly fell to the ground. He still could grab the wall as support and started breathing heavily.

"What is wrong?", asked Salza with a frown at his sudden weird behavior.

"Nothing. Sorry, I somehow got sudden nausea.", answered Banando and smiled wryly while getting his bearings back.

"Don't get all weak and stuff. We are going to meet lord Frieza after all. Can you not act it out at least until we are done?" Salza was more concerned about him falling ill at such bad timing.

"I will try...Don't worry."

´Dammit. Original. What the h.e.l.l are you doing? That energy fluctuation just now was absurdly dangerous. I barely could remain transformed just now. My ki reserves are nearly at their bottom. What happened that our energy was drained that much? I hope nothing serious is going on.´, thought Banando in his mind.

After all, it was not even that long since the new clone appeared that gave him his next orders to tackle. So this little accident worried him even more.
