Sometime later after the whole conversation with Cooler our yellow friend was given his new battle suit and his status inside the army became official to everyone via the hierarchy network that the soldiers used.

In that kind of social network, every soldier could know their own rank and other things like payment and privileges. It's also the way to go to get certain ma.s.s orders like the order for every Saiyan to come back to their home planet. Things like that. The GP also used a similar way to communicate.

Banando let out a sigh after all this and was walking to the crew quarters. He had to get his stuff and pack it all up. After all, he was now a commanding officer and being around the lower cla.s.s soldiers was a certain no go.

Reaching the door to the old room he placed his datapad on a scanner. The door opened and he entered into the room.

What awaited him was three pairs of eyes looking at him. No, it was actually four pairs if someone considered the one's eyes from the last member of his group here had 4 eyes.

Banando smiled wryly. "What?", he asked them and looked from one guy to the other. Appule was also inside the room.

"So, captain? You are now elite?", asked a huge guy with green skin and black short hair.

"Don't worry about being too formal. I am still me, Burk.", answered Banando after shifting his gaze to this guy.

"Sssee, told you ssso. He remainsss the sssame.", commented the four-eyed alien on his answer. Its slithering tongue was always whipping around while it talked. It was the last member of his roommates and a reptile-like alien to boot.

It was also the one member with four eyes and also the only female in this group. In Frieza´s army, there were no real distinctions between genders after all.

Appule was kinda annoyed by the snake-woman. "Shut up, Nubia. It still doesn't change the fact that he is our superior now."

Banando slightly chuckled. "Right, maybe I should punish you for leaving me hanging like that in the canteen.", interrupted Banando.

"Ah! Wait! Don't take it like that! I was just....getting myself some more food, haha. Yeah thats it.", said Appule after hearing his voice. He knew what he meant with his words and tried now to slither himself out of trouble since Banando really could punish him now.

The other two only looked at Appule weirdly since they kinda knew it was his normal behaviour to get scared and avoid trouble.

Banando sighed. "It was a joke. I am just here to get my stuff. You know I don't really like being on those frontlines all the time. And now I got that d.a.m.n promotion for being lord Frieza´s bodyguard. I am pretty sure I will get into something akin to h.e.l.l now...And I don't even want to think about my precious vacation..."

"Don't be sad. The armored squadron is strong. Honor for a warrior.", said Burk with his deep voice and clapped on his back. Those hits slightly pushed him forward with each clap. This big fella still has a monstrous raw strength as always.

Appule also sighed. "Hey, meathead. If you like it that much why don't you change with him?", he said mockingly.

"I can do that?", asked Burk back.

"Haha", laughed Banando somewhat softly. "Sadly no, big guy. Well, it was fun with you guys but I need to hurry. Salza is probably waiting. Let's see each other time again. We will celebrate then and I will pay since I now get a bigger paycheck."

His smile that now became a grin also amde the others smile. "Ssssounds fair. You better keep that promisss.", said Nubia.

Banando nodded and packed all his things with the help of his former squad and went on to his new quarters.

"That took you long enough. Here is your room. The door is already calibrated to your datapad. The training will start tomorrow so get yourself some sleep for now.", said an annoyed Salza standing in front of the room taht was now registered under Banando. It was also two rooms from his and closer to the bridge.

That fact actually made him even more annoyed. Was this guy now getting better treatment than them?

Banando only scratched the back of his head and smiled innocently. "Sorry and thanks." That was all he answered to Salza.

Salza nodded and moved on to his own room just as Banando did after he left.

Inside the room, he looked around and saw that it was twice as s.p.a.cious than the room he was in with his roommates. Everything else was basically pretty much the same.

So he went and unloaded his stuff and then just let himself fall unto the bed. Salza would probably not just let him off that easily so he went straight to get some energy through sleep.

The next day he woke up and prepared himself like always. It was a lot easier getting everything done without his teammates being in the way with occupying the shower and such.

Being done, he went to the room Salza ordered him to meet up. There he already saw Salza standing around with his violet neoprene suit without the armor padding.

"Oh, look who is an early bird. You actually managed to be earlier than Dore and Neiz. Good, that is a very commendable trait. Then let us start with training.", said Salza and walked closer to the middle of the room. "Also, just to make something clear here. You may think you became very powerful after eating that fruit but I will tell you right now. Don't get c.o.c.ky. Right now you still stand at the bottom." He said once more to make sure

"And Lord Cooler may see your potential in becoming useful but in the end, I will be the one who decides your fate. If you don't fulfill your quota and reach the power I expect of you to reach, you will be going back to the cannon fodder. Now. The first goal is to let you reach 200k in BP until we reach the location of Lord Frieza. You have 3 months to get there.", added Salza and showed him three fingers.

Banando furrowed his brows slightly and Salza noticed that and smiled creepily.

Then Banando went ahead and wanted to start his sparring with Salza.

"Oh, and just to make sure. If you want to surpa.s.s me you need to get to 1.5 Million in Battle power.", said Salza with a grin.

Banando was somewhat annoyed "Okay, now that I think about it. I want to beat the h.e.l.l out of you for being so c.o.c.ky.", answered Banando.

A slight glimmer was present in Salzas eyes and he smiled "We will see about that." Then he went into his fighting pose and charged against Banando.

It didn't take long and Salza beat the h.e.l.l out of Banando until he only lay gasping for air on the ground.

"I...thoguht I am getting trained....and not beat up like this...", said Banando with heavy breathing.

Salza looked down at him. "No one told you that we would put gloves on. Now get back up. You are actually lucky that the others are not here or else you wouldn't need to only worry about my attacks. Lord Cooler actually especially ordered you to get the hardest sort of training...", he smirked while saying those words.

Banando only looked up at him and slowly stood back up and prepared himself for more bruises.
