"Accept pure punishment!" Sofia exclaimed, as she drank in a huge quant.i.ty. As she did so, the energy of the searing Aurora was absorbed by the s.h.i.+eld of Purity.

In the middle of the s.h.i.+eld of Purity, a split could be seen from the muzzle of the golden lion's mouth. Horrifying energies converged and tiny flickers of fluorescent lights in the air could be seen being sucked into it.

The cannon quickly gathered the power of the horrifying energy, causing it to s.h.i.+ne brightly like the hot sun. A destructive energy could also be felt gathering inside it. It seemed to be able to break through any s.p.a.ce and purify all of the elements in the air.

Stuart's face was pale, as he realized that the defence of the s.h.i.+eld of Purity could not be broken. Now, he had to face the Pure Sanction Cannon, which was even more powerful than the miniature aurorshaped charge gun he had just used.

Even someone with a level of 100% cell activation would instantly be turned to gas when hit, leaving no trace. When faced with such a crude means of killing, he was terrified. Stuart had never thought that Sofia would hide so many desperate tricks up her sleeve, nor that she would really have wanted to kill him!

"Sofia, calm down, so we can have a good talk. I was wrong just now, and I am willing to make up for it," Stuart said, as he tried to dissuade her from killing him.

"Too late! I just want to kill you now!" Sofia's voice sounded cold.

At this moment, the Pure Sanction Cannon was fully charged and there were changes to the s.h.i.+eld of Purity once again. It had now split into many pieces of s.h.i.+eld armor, making it appear as if flowers were blooming out from it, all of which were ready to attack!

The Pure Sanction Cannon, after all, was a weapon that was even above the E-cla.s.s. Its explosive power could cause a huge recoil, one that was enough to cause serious injuries, even to one with a level of 100% cell activation!

The cannon fired, sounding as loud as the roar of a lion. Its vibrations were so loud, they shook the entire house and instantly activated the house's self-defence function.

This caused a huge energy column, like a meteor falling down to the ground, to roll in like a tsunami. The aftershocks were strong enough to cause serious injuries to all, even those with a level of 100% cell activation. If hit directly by them, one could disappear instantly, without leaving a trace.

Steve and Lucy were still enjoying having their intimate time in the room. Thus, they were startled by the strong aftershocks.

"The s.h.i.+eld of Purity is so powerful!" Steve could not help be surprised.

Fortunately, there were rules in the ranking battle. Otherwise, Sophia would have used the s.h.i.+eld of Purity to destroy him instantly.

"Uh huh..." Lucy groaned, looking over, as the two could see what was going on outside from the surveillance monitor. She then said, "Stuart! That sc.u.m! He's dead for sure."

Stuart was startled. The strong force was too powerful! It was indeed beyond his imagination. In order to survive, Stuart fought with all his might.

Suddenly, the Dark Eclipse Machine emerged, revealing a four-meter high F-cla.s.s armor. The armor was dark and looked like a monster. It had eight arms, four legs, six red eyes and big teeth, which cut like a sharp knife, in its huge mouth. Most importantly, it had a peculiar flame skull seal on its chest.

More than a dozen missiles and energy cannons were immediately loaded when the Dark Eclipse Machine appeared. Its eight arms fired numerous metal bullets, while two miniature concussion cannons burst out of its chest.

It was like a true war machine, with weapons welded all over it. The sight of it was even more terrifying than the Robot Thunderbolt Gorilla, which Steve had encountered previously.

"Galaxy Storm Combat armor!" Stuart called out, summoning it in order to protect himself.

Immediately, a silver-blue armor, moving as swiftly as mercury, covered Stuart's body. The Galaxy Storm Combat armor had smooth lines and squirting devices, which allowed the people wearing it to fly in mid-air. In a flash, the Galaxy Storm Combat armor set off sixteen layers of s.h.i.+elds in front of Stuart.

Boom and rumble...

The earth-shaking explosion occurred, the whole house rocked to and fro and the alarm sounded. The walls automatically activated the defence system.

However, in reaction to the collision energy, the ground split open, the walls collapsed, and the ceiling cracked! Even the rooms, which had been made with strengthening materials, displayed traces of damage.

Even the rooms of those recruits' with levels of 100% cell activation were slighted impacted, but were quickly programmed to repair automatically. However, the devastating damage was beyond even the rooms' autonomous defence repair system.

The Pure Sanction Cannon's terrifying cannons then collided with the missiles, energy guns, and bullets of the Dark Eclipse Machine. This face-off was intense, as both were deadly machines. The Pure Sanction Cannon combined the energy of the mini laser gathering gun with a power that was more deadly and stronger than that of the Dark Eclipse Machine.

Thus, the force of the collision and explosion surged out, its aftermath destroying all of the decorations and furniture in the entire house! Finally, the Pure Sanction Cannon conquered the Dark Eclipse Machine.

Boom!!! Boom boom boom!!

A loud thunderbolt-like was then suddenly heard. The Dark Eclipse Machine had been instantly destroyed by the cannon, the terrifyingly loud explosions creating a crater on the ground.

Even though the Pure Sanction Cannon had finally halted its attack, the aftermath of the explosion still was being propelled towards Stuart. The sixteen layers of defence s.h.i.+eld that were set off by the Galaxy Storm Combat armor had been shattered, layer by layer.

"I must stop it!" Stuart roared, while activating the Galaxy Storm Combat armor's defence system to its most extreme level.

But, he was soon overwhelmed by the aftermath of the explosion. The aftershocks of the explosion also swept over to Sofia. As she was protected by the s.h.i.+eld of Purity, the aftershocks couldn't hurt her.

Before the rest of the aftershocks subsided, no one could know Stuart's fate, whether he was dead or alive. Sofia's face grew pale. She could feel the effects of the Heart of the Deep Blue serum fading away. Moreover, her use of the s.h.i.+eld of Purity had consumed all of her strength.

If Stuart survived this ordeal, it could only mean disaster for her.
