"Oh, Audrey, you care too much about him. I thought you said didn't fancy him?" Jenna laughed.

Audrey gave Jenna a stare and said, "He's a favorite for our Watt Battle Team. As such, I'm sure I can rope him into joining our team. So, how can we let him be deceived by the Death Combat Unit?"

"You don't have to explain to me whether you like him or not. You know clearly in your heart what's true." Jenna laughed.

Audrey went silent, as she had mixed feelings in her heart. Ever since last month, she had paid more attention to Steve, often going to the armored robot operator cla.s.s to observe his training.

Undeniably, Steve's impressive talent was like a s.h.i.+ning sun, constantly attracting her attention. After all, it was only when one got to know Steve, that they could begin to understand how charming Steve could be.

Less than a month after becoming an Armored Robot Operator, Steve now had the potential of becoming an F-level armored robot operator, ready to go into a battlefield as a trump card. Now, Audrey felt that, if they were to duel in their armored robots, she had a high chance of losing to Steve.

"Two ladies! Mr. Steve is in the middle of preparing for the battle. Please don't disturb him." Saint Zachary stopped them.

"I'm Audrey of the Watt Battle Team. She's Jenna of the Bauhinia Battle Team. We're both friends of Steve's. We have important things to ask him about the upcoming battle," Audrey said in a serious tone.

The recruits knew who the Watt Battle Team and the Bauhinia Battle Team were, as both teams were in the top 50 of the rankings. There were also rumors about Audrey and Steve that were circulating among the soldiers. So, when Saint Zachary heard their ident.i.ties, he let them in immediately.

After entering the first door, Audrey soon came to the main door of the lounge. Because of the time constraints, Audrey opened the door immediately and went in without even knocking.
