"Who dares to steal my treasure?" Tonya asked.

In the lakes of the Magical Beast Mountains, Tonya could sense two smells, one of which was Collic, and the other was the scent of a human who she had yet to find. Ares Tonya had followed the scent of Collic to make her way here.

Demon Collic did not dare hide any details with regards to how he had lost the Star of Hope, nor did he conceal any of Steve's involvement in the process. He even showed Steve's picture to her! Looking at the teenager in the picture, Steve looked exactly the same as the human being she had seen at the lake.

"My treasure is in his hands now?" Ares Tonya looked at Collic coldly. She then said, "Since that's the case, you should die for your wrongdoings!"

"Great Ares, you can't kill me! I have the latest news about this young lad! Keep me alive, so I can help recover the lost treasure for you," Collic begged in horror.

"What information do you have?" Tonya looked upon him indifferently, while he was still kneeling down on the ground, begging for his life.

Collic quickly reached into the compressed capsule and took out a bottle of the seven-colored liquid. As he did so, Tonya found the scent that exuded from the liquid to be quite familiar.

"The power of the Star of Hope can be found in this bottle of serum," Tonya said in surprise.

"Yes! This is the latest mysterious serum from the human beings. It is called 'Fantasy Serum.'' I a.n.a.lyzed the serum and found the energy component of the Star of Hope within it," Collic said.

Ares Tonya looked at him coldly, not saying a word.

Collic hurried to spit out what he knew. "The time when this serum appeared was almost the same time that the Star of Hope was lost. Thus, my guess is that the human being who took the Star of Hope knows its real purpose."

He then added, "I also heard that, in the near future, a large Pharmacist Forum will be held in the Stanlos Base Camp. As the young lad will likely make an appearance, I can take that opportunity to kill him, then seize the Star of Hope!"

After listening to what Collic had just said, Tonya thought about his plan in silence. Ares did not usually make their moves in public, as they could easily be detected by the human beings. Thus, sneaking into a crowd of human beings was not an easy feat for Ares.

"I will trust you just this once, and only for the time being." Ares Tonya's voice revealed her misgivings, yet she really had no better alternative at the moment.

Collic breathed a sigh of relief.

"Here's a bottle of the ancient serum. This will help you to sneak into the crowd of human beings. Drink it, and it will help to conceal your scent as a mutated demon. It will also enhance your power, transforming you into a level-two mutated demon." Tonya took out a bottle of black-colored serum and handed it to Collic.

As it was a great joy to be promoted to a level-two mutated demon, without hesitation, Collic received the serum and drank it immediately. Sure enough, after drinking the serum, Collic felt a powerful force surging out of his body, while his strength increased several folds in an instant!

Seeing what happened to Collic, Ares Tonya smiled and said, "This serum is called the 'Guardians.h.i.+p of Hades.' After a demon drinks it, it can increase the power of that demon by an entire level within a year. However, unless the demon drinks an antidote within that same year, the demon will die."

After hearing this, Collic's joy disappeared, and his eyes were instantly filled with fear.

Ares Tonya saw this and laughed. She then said, "You can rest a.s.sured that, as long as you retrieve the Star of Hope, I will give you an antidote. But, if you fail..."

Naturally, his failure would lead to his death!

"Great Ares, you can rest a.s.sured that I will bring back the Star of Hope!" Collic said in a determined tone. After all, this concerned his very survival!

Ares Tonya waved her hands at Collic, indicating that he was allowed to leave. Currently, almost all of the Ares on the Blue Star Continent were eyeing the ancient relics of the Southern Ocean.

As such, n.o.body would notice any of the happenings going on in the territory of the human beings. Their distraction gave Ares Tonya the confidence that she could successfully retrieve the Star of Hope.

While she knew that the ancient relics in the Southern Ocean were important, with so many Ares competing against one another there, she was confident that there would be no results within a short time.

So, instead of wasting her time there, she figured that it would be wiser to take this opportunity to retrieve the Star of Hope. On top of recruiting Collic's help, Ares Tonya commanded Demon Angelique to setup the frontline.

This way, if Collic failed, a war to destroy the entire Stanlos Base Camp would be considered in order to retrieve the Star of Hope. However, she hoped that it would not come to that.
