Vivien hid behind Steve in fear. Steve was furious. He felt helpless, as he couldn't bring Vivien around with him every day to protect her.

"Sir, the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s you wanted is here!" A woman's voice rang out, and Lina, the pretty sales clerk, came running out happily. It had taken her all that time to find the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s!

However, when she arrived, she suddenly found that there seemed to be something wrong with the atmosphere at the scene. It was quite tense!

"So, you came here to shop..." Michael sneered. "Bring me the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s!"

Lina looked at Michael, then at Steve. After a moment of hesitation, she handed Michael the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s. "Manager, this is the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s that this gentleman bought."

"Sorry, the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s has already been spoken for," Michael's said icily.

"Manager, I've read the record. No one ordered this Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s…" Lina said, confused.

However, halfway through her sentence, she was interrupted by Michael, who scolded, "If I said that it has been spoken for, then it has been! Do you want to lose your job? No? Then shut your mouth!"

Steve frowned, as he didn't expect Micheal to do such a mean thing.

"Even if you don't sell it to me, I can still buy it somewhere else." Although Steve was desperate to cultivate his spiritual power serums, the Black Tiger Store was not the only place that he could purchase his ingredients.

"Only the Babbitt Group provides the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s here in the Stanlos Base Camp." Michael sneered. "Even on the black market, you won't be able to find it. This plant in my hand is definitely the only one that hasn't been sold yet!"

He shook it in Steve's face, then added, "As long as you are willing to let Ms. Vivien withdraw her lawsuit, I will give you this Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s plant. I will also give you two million on top of the agreed upon compensation!"

"If you say it's the last one, it has to truly be the last one!" Steve said. "Don't you dare underestimate a pharmacist! Come on, I won't buy the Blood-Sucking Gra.s.s today!"

After he spoke, Steve pulled Vivien away and prepared to leave. Jim looked pale as he watched Steve leave. "What should we do now, Michael?"

"The result of the lawsuit will not be decided so quickly. It will take two or three days at least. Only by forcing them to withdraw during this period can we set things right." Michael's expression was gloomy. He clearly felt trapped into a corner now.
