186 Fame Spread Far And Wide

Audrey frowned, as it was not easy to compete with Jenna. While every team was competing to attract the capable ones to join their teams, Steve's ranking had jumped directly to the fourth level!

The veterans were amazed that Steve had entered the fourth level. Very few recruits were able to pa.s.s the first challenge on their first day!

Now, Steve had gone already pa.s.sed two challenges! As such, he was considered to be the most outstanding among the geniuses of the military base camp.

Audrey was calm. As she knew that Steve had single-handedly defeated Antonio's five-man team, she figured that his strength must be more than a basic cell value of 320. Thus, she felt that he might be able to complete challenges of a higher level.

"What level do you think he can reach?" Jenna looked interested.

"My conservative guess would be…He should have no problem completing the fourth level. As for the fifth level… That is very difficult to say..." Audrey a.n.a.lyzed Steve calmly.

"You think so highly of him?" Jenna looked at Audrey with some surprise showing on her face.

At the fourth level, one would have to face 10 magical beasts with a basic cell value of 340 points. Even a soldier with a basic cell value of 350 points might not be able to complete such a level!

Jenna felt that Audrey was exaggerating. After all, it was not easy to pa.s.s the fourth level. Hence, she felt that Steve would not pa.s.s.

...

Meanwhile, Steve had entered the fourth level.

"Ten decadent blood cows are indeed difficult to handle, but this challenge is manageable," Steve said calmly.

The force of gravity of the fourth level was a little stronger than the third level. Hence, Steve tried to adapt.

Though each level increased the force of gravity by only 10%, the body's adaptation to the force of gravity, as well as the benefits of accelerated training, both played a part in determining whether a contender pa.s.sed or failed.

Even a 10% increase in the force gravity placed a heavy burden on the body. Moreover, by increasing the speed of training for each level by 10%, the benefits would become more and more obvious over the years. More importantly, the force of gravity could squeeze out the potential of one's cells, stimulating more potential and accelerating one's genetic evolution.

Steve figured that as long as he had enough contribution points and could adapt to the force of gravity and train in the third level for one to two months, his basic cell value would surely reach up to 320 points. Much of this ability had to do with his possession of the Fantasy Serum.

As ordinary soldiers did not have this most precious Fantasy Serum, it was extremely difficult for them to maximize their potentials under normal circ.u.mstances. Hence, to achieve a basic cell value of 320 points within a few months was considered to be very fast.

Of course, as time went by, the speed of ascension became slower. Sometimes, someone with a basic cell value of 400 points could not even increase 10 points, even after an entire year!

Steve observed that when his basic cell value reached 300 points, his training speed would decrease dramatically. In the past, his basic cell value could be increased by dozens of points in a day, but now, it could only be increased by five points in three or four days.

Even with the Fantasy Serum, it would not be an easy feat to reach a basic cell value of 1,000 points. In fact, it could take up to several years to achieve!
