The people were beside themselves, as Steve had reached 90%, which surpa.s.sed even the Wander City State's highest record! They suddenly felt that they were witnessing the rise of a legend!

Among the shocked people, there was one who couldn't be happy. That person was Stuart.

After discovering Steve's Brain Wave Fusion Level, Stuart was also overwhelmed by shock, but his shock had now been replaced by a deep and dark jealousy.

"Why? Why is it him again? He used to be just trash. Why does he always surpa.s.s me?" Stuart was muttering under his breath, his jealousy nearly driving him mad. Not only had Steve surpa.s.sed him, but Sofia and Lucy, whom he'd never taken seriously, had now surpa.s.sed him as well!

"You are but my servant, so how dare you question me?" The evil spirit of the Erinnyes grunted furiously.

Stuart suddenly felt a sharp pain in his soul and beads of perspiration appeared on his forehead. He felt as he had fallen into a pit of fire that was burning his soul.

Only then did he wake up from his jealousy and anger. He now realized that he was only a servant of the Erinnyes and did not even have the right to question it.

"Without me, you couldn't even achieve 70% of Brain Wave Fusion Level!" the spirit of the Erinnyes said in a cold voice. "This is only a small punishment. If you dare to disrespect me again, I will let your soul fall into h.e.l.l, where it will be unable to escape for all eternity!"

Stuart was frightened and begged for mercy immediately, "I will never dare to do that again. Please, let me go..."

The Spirit of the Erinnyes then let go of Stuart's soul and said, "You trash, I have spent a lot of effort cultivating you, but you can't even settle a small ant."
