The Heart of the Universe continued, "The second way is that once your basic cell value reaches 450, the strength of your body can absolutely withstand this pressure. Third, when your brain development reaches 30% and your basic cell value reaches 400, the combination of the two can also sustain the pressure. This third method is by far the fastest and most effective method."

Hearing the a.n.a.lysis report, Steve looked calm. Apparently, it was not easy to fully withstand the pressure of an armoured robot. After all, there were no more than five soldiers, whose basic cell values were at 450 points in the whole military base camp.

Just then, a voice was heard near Steve. "Brain wave fusion is about to begin. This will cause a serious pressure on the brain and will be accompanied by several side effects. Please be prepared, soldiers."

The second round of fusion was finally about to begin. Steve took a deep breath, put the previous problems behind him, and began to prepare. The people in the Inst.i.tute of Technology also quieted down to focus their attention on the testing.

"Start the second round of testing!" Lieutenant Leopold gave the order.

Technicians immediately started linking the student's bodies' pressures to their brains. Suddenly, their bodies were subjected to tremendous pressure, causing a tremendous load on their brains.

This could possibly lead to brain damage! Therefore, the fusion process would always slow down at this point, thus allowing the students to adapt gradually.

1%... 2%... 3%... 4%... 5%... 6%... 7%... 8%... 9%... 10%...

The numbers on the big screen showed that the brain wave fusion data had reached 10%, and none of the 50 people had experienced any adverse reactions yet!

"Ha ha! Good! 10% has pa.s.sed, and no one has been eliminated yet!" Spencer gave a big laugh.

According to the records, most people were being eliminated when it reached 5% and at least half of the people were most likely to be eliminated when it reached 10%.

15%...16%...17%...18%...19%...20%...

At last, the data reached 20%. Two of the 50 people were pale and distorted, as if they had experienced some kind of unspeakable pain.

"No. 19, you have already reached your limit. You can stop testing!"

"No. 12, you have also reached your limit. You can also stop testing!"

Although two of them were eliminated, Leopold and the others did not show any signs of frustration. Instead, they only became more excited!

Only two people had been eliminated when the fusion level reached 20%. These were so far!

To drive an armored robot, one must be able to withstand a minimum fusion level of 50%. Because of the tremendous pressure that was placed on the body and mind when operating the armored robot, this pressure might lead to the decline of the operator's combat status in all aspects. So, one also had to achieve 50% of the daily combat state in order to be qualified.

Even though the number seems low, it is not to be underestimated, as this 50% combat power of an armored robot is extremely powerful. Even with 50% of combat power, one could easily defeat another with a combat value of 300 points!

That is to say, soldiers with a basic cell value of 300 could defeat those with a combat value of 600 by operating an armored robot. Hence, to be able to increase so much combat power was indeed a fearful thing!

However, it was important to remember that 50% was only the qualifying mark. The higher the percentage, the more capable the armored robot was considered to be.

However, only the top armored robot operators could fully exert their power. These were the geniuses among the geniuses!
