The members of the Inst.i.tute looked upset. The results from each round were worse than the previous ones! Hence, none of the 450 people had qualified!

"Sure enough..." Quentin looked unhappy, as Vanessa's jinx effect seemed more powerful than usual.

"Lieutenant, I believe the next round will be better!" Vanessa's voice sounded very sure.

Director Derek and Sergeant Spencer trembled a little. They wanted Vanessa to shut up quickly. If she went on like this, they were afraid that all of the soldiers would be eliminated!

Leopold then said, "There are more than 4,000 people, so there will surely be some people who will qualify. Only three rounds of tests have been completed, and there are many people still waiting for their turn. Start the fourth round of testing!"

Subsequently, the fourth round of testing began. Before Derek started, he looked at Vanessa. This girl seemed to have some kind of evil ability. The more she spoke, the worse the results got!

But, Leopold had not discovered this strange phenomenon yet...

As Vanessa was a Sergeant Major, who had recently been transferred from Wander City State, she possessed great strength. Although her rank in the military base camp was one level lower than Leopold's, she was just as strong as him.

"Lieutenant, the rest will definitely be better!" Vanessa affirmed.

Quentin, Derek, and Spencer, together with the other researchers, looked at Vanessa with surprise. At the same time, they also gave a strange look to Leopold.

Leopold, still unaware, said calmly, "Start the next round!"

Vanessa looked to be in her twenties, but no one really knew how old she actually was. Looking at her physical appearance, she looked like a beautiful girl who was slightly thin. Her sunken cheeks appeared to be almost three-dimensional, causing the contour of her face to look near perfect.

Although her face looked thin, her chest was a size D. She was also quite tall, which made her look like a model. No one could not understand why such a beautiful girl held the power to jinx everything!

In all of the thirty-three tests, once she opened her mouth to speak, the outcome was much worse than before! In the last round, only five people entered the second round of the Brain Wave Fusion Test, and their fusion levels only reached 3%!

These poor results were not only miserable, they also broke the record in the military base camp as being the lowest! Out of 4950 people, not even one was qualified! No one had ever seen such a tragic outcome in the military base camp!

Quentin and the others even began to wonder whether Vanessa was sent by the enemy camp to thwart the testing!

"Reporting... Lieutenant, there are only 50 people left..." Derek reported. "If they also don't pa.s.s, I'm afraid there will be no qualified recruits..."

"No, Steve is quite a strong soldier. Maybe he..." Vanessa responded immediately.

"Shut up!" Quentin and Spencer could not help but both shout the exact same words at the exact same time.
