102 The Erinnyes Online

"How long will it take to listen to all of the introductions?" Steve asked.

"It will take roughly six hours," Nieer replied.

"That's too long. Just tell me about the deal regarding the Erinnyes, the mission acquisition, and the acquisition of prohibited weapons." As Steve was still pretty unfamiliar with the Erinnyes, the more he understood, the better.

However, it would be a waste of time for him to spend six hours listening to rough introductions, which included the entire history of the Erinnyes and so on. Instead, it was much better to listen directly to what he needed to know first. As for the rest of the content, he could read about it later.

The prime objective for his logging into the Erinnyes app was to buy weapons of ma.s.s destruction and to learn about different ways to acquire missions. After all, once he got a glimpse of Stuart's powerful last card, Steve had felt unprepared.

Even though Steve had the Sword of Purity, this weapon was too conspicuous. This was because he could only use it in the most dangerous situations, as the sword consumed too much energy otherwise.

"To learn more about the Erinnyes trading model and daily deals, you can go to the app trading page. There you will find items for sale by members of the Erinnyes and the Furies Mall. Since you are only a Tier 1 preparatory member, you can only access the lowest level..." Nieer continued to explain the details.

As Nieer spoke, the system opened the Erinnyes Mall page. It showed that a number of preparatory members, like Steve, had put up their treasures on consignment. Among these treasures were many things that had been prohibited from being sold on the open market, including items like weapons, serum, and stolen goods.

After only a few glances, Steve had already lost interest. This was because he knew that his low level would never grant him access to any of the items that he truly wanted.

So, he asked, "How can I get weapons of ma.s.s destruction, such as F-grade top cla.s.s armor, robots, or even just E-grade weapons?"

Currently, Steve had money. What he lacked, however, was a proper channel to convert his money into power!

"The items you need require Level 2 authority to purchase. However, your level is too low," Nieer said, then added, "But, if you want to buy these things, you can do so through other channels. For example, you can receive tasks in the task page. Once the task is completed, you can get the task reward, as well as a points reward. These points can then be used to purchase treasures in the Furies Mall that are not available outside."

Steve knew that this was true, as he had just seen the Furies Mall. The items there were really much better!

However, now that he knew that one would need acc.u.mulated points to exchange for weapons, such as the Beast Soul Armory, he was discouraged. This was because Steve did not even have a single point! Hence, he could only view and drool over the items, but not buy them.

"Another option is to put up a list containing the things you want to buy, then hang the list in the mall. If someone happens to be selling one of the items, they will contact you directly. Similarly, you can barter and trade via the same process."

Steve decided that the second method was more feasible, since he could use his money to offer high prices to sellers. Feeling confident in this matter, he then opened the second page on the mall site, which was filled with advertis.e.m.e.nts of items for sale or for exchange.

His eyes immediately drifted to an advertis.e.m.e.nt on the largest banner at the top of the mall, which could clearly be seen by all levels of authority. The banner read: High price acquisition of the main material for the Fantasy Serum and the Red Night's Blood!

Steve curiously clicked onto the link and saw that the entire page that popped up was filled with information about acquiring the two items. Each acquisition's information belonged to an individual or a major force that was selling it.

The price offered was different for each as well. Also, some people wanted to make an exchange, while others wanted to make their purchase with money.

Even the officials at The Erinnyes were listed as interested buyers. They also indicated that, no matter how big the quant.i.ty, they wanted to buy them all! They were obviously wealthy, as the more quant.i.ty one bought, the higher the price it would be.
