Suddenly this feeling of weightlessness disappeared and he felt as if he was falling from the sky.

'Bam!'

"Ouch that hurts"

s.h.i.+ Yan complained as he ma.s.saged his rear end.

"Wait a minute, I can feel pain, I'm still alive and I still have my body, what's going on."

"Please let it be like one of those transmigration novels that I've read when the main character gets sent back to the past, please, please, please."

s.h.i.+ Yan continued to feel hopeful as he looked around his surroundings.

"Th-this does not look like the past"

While looking around he quickly realized that he was in a majestic throne room.

The throne room was decorated with large black columns and blood red curtains draping down from the windows. The floors were made from a obsidian like material with various patterns printed on it, that when stared at made s.h.i.+ Yan feel as if his mind would be turned to mush if he continued looking.

He quickly stood up and continued looking around the room.

In front of him s.h.i.+ Yan saw seven majestic thrones each corresponding with a different color of the rainbow, decorated with diamonds and black gemstones. The throne room itself had a very sinister feel to it.

"Where am I?"

"That information is of no importance to you at the moment"

Suddenly a man dressed in a tight fitting black full body suit, white epaulettes and a black commander hat with golden leaves appeared before s.h.i.+ Yan. The man was so lanky that he looked a lot like the mythological creature slender man but the strange thing about this slender man look alike was that s.h.i.+ Yan was unable to clearly see his face. It seemed as if his face was being blocked by a thick layer of fog. s.h.i.+ Yan decided to see if he could get any information out of this guy.

"What are you, no I mean who are you and do you have any idea where this place is?"

s.h.i.+ Yan could not see this creatures face but he felt as if he could feel its emotions and right now he could clearly tell that this guy just got very angry.

"How dare you, you should know your place and speak when spoken to, the council of G.o.ds has already decided your fate"

"What?"

"We have decided that your powers might become a threat to the existence of the council of G.o.ds. We are not able to kill you because your time and s.p.a.ce power protects your soul, so we have chosen to seal you in purgatory for a thousand years and torture you daily to break your spirit so we can use you as a weapon of the G.o.ds"

s.h.i.+ Yan was indignant at the way he was being treated, it was if he was worth nothing in this creature's eyes.

"Wait who are you guys to think that you can just determine my fate, I'm a human being I have rights and I demand to be treated fai---"

Suddenly the air froze, the man creature thing slowly turned his head and looked directly into s.h.i.+ Yan's eyes.

He felt as if the creature was looking directly into his soul, suddenly a powerful pressure fell down on s.h.i.+ Yan's body, it felt as if a mountain was placed on his shoulders. It pushed him flat onto the floor of the throne room but he still continued to stare defiantly at the man in front of him.

"Hahaha" "Who are we to decide your fate you ask, if you truly must know, we are the G.o.ds who rule this world, we can do whatever we want, this world is ours and all you pathetic beings in it are our playthings."

The creature's speech began to turn crazed as he stretched both his arms out wide and continued to speak.

"We are the ones that decided that your family should decline and we also facilitated their oh so wonderful, beautiful, b.l.o.o.d.y death." "You want to know why?" "We did it because we felt like it and there's no one who would be able to stand in our way, if there is someone that is or will be able to stop us we can either just get rid of them with the snap of a finger or imprison them and break their spirit."

"You don't have the right to decide your fate, if we say you are to be sealed you will be sealed, we control your fate and the fate of all the other ants in this world, we are the absolute authority, we are the rulers, we are all knowing, we are all powerful, we are the G.o.ds, no one can and no one would dare resist us!" "Now enjoy your time in purgatory, foolish being that dares to question us"

s.h.i.+ Yan did not even have time to protest before the man waved his hand and he felt as if a wall of wind slammed into him and he was sent flying into the air directly into a red portal. As he was travelling through the portal s.h.i.+ Yan felt as if his whole body was being ripped apart, he quickly lost consciousness due to the sudden pain.

When he opened his eyes s.h.i.+ Yan realized he was in a small room on his knees chained to the ground unable to move. He could still feel his power inside his body but it seemed to have been suppressed and trapped within his soul.

"Please tell me I'm not really in purgatory"

As he looked around he realized that he was in a plain looking room with red walls which seemed to have been soaked in blood for thousands of years. On the walls were a mult.i.tude of sharp weapons that still glinted within the dim lighting to show their lethality.

"This is definitely purgatory"

As s.h.i.+ Yan continued looking around the room his eyes happened to catch sight of a red colored fog. As he continued looking at the red fog a completely red silhouette started to appear before him. s.h.i.+ Yan could feel a large amount of bloodl.u.s.t coming from the figure in front of him; he knew that this thing must have bathed in rivers of blood to give off such an air.

The silhouette then started to speak, its voice sounded as if it ate nails for breakfast.

"Welcome to purgatory I shall be your best friend for the next one thousand years".

"F*ck my life"

s.h.i.+ Yan felt cold sweat run down his back. He knew he was in for a world of suffering but he felt no fear, he just swore to get revenge on the G.o.ds in the future.

After awhile heart wrenching screams could be heard from the room s.h.i.+ Yan was imprisoned in. The screams sounded as if someone was having their soul forcefully dragged out of their body then roughly stuffed back inside of them.

Five hundred years slowly pa.s.sed by as s.h.i.+ Yan suffered extreme torture eighteen hours a day every day with no one to speak to save for his torturer and the b.l.o.o.d.y walls, lonely and sealed in a damp dim room, he began to build up resentment against the G.o.ds for throwing him in a place like this with barely an explanation.

He had so much resentment and hatred bottled up inside him that it manifested itself physically as a black cloud that surrounded his body. He swore that if he gained another chance he would not allow the G.o.ds to control his fate; he decided he would become strong enough to get revenge for all the suffering they've put him through and completely destroy the G.o.ds.

'Whooosh'

Suddenly there was a strong gust of wind within the room and a cloudy man like apparition appeared in front of him, the apparition was black with tiny specks that looked like stars scattered within it which were continuously blinking in and out of existence.

"How much are you willing to give up for revenge?"

s.h.i.+ Yan slowly looked up at the being that appeared in front of him, he could tell that this thing was very powerful. He felt as if this beings power extended beyond the creation of the entire universe but at the same time he felt as weak as an ant that he could crush with his pinky finger, it was a contradictory feeling.

"I would give anything but I have nothing more to give"

s.h.i.+ Yan felt as if this man would be able to help him but he knew that there is a price for everything, there are no free meals in this world and if there is one thing that being in this place has taught him it is that he should never completely trust anyone.

"The law of equivalent exchange states that you cannot gain anything without first giving something of equal value in return, the chance that I will give you comes with a small price"

"You just need to give up all your positive emotions except for hope and I will give you a chance to be reborn and a weapon powerful enough to completely destroy the G.o.ds."

s.h.i.+ Yan held his head down and thought about the offer, it was a small price to pay for revenge. He knew the being in front him would be able to do what he said. He had no idea why he believed him but he was grasping onto straws right now, this was the only way out.

He quickly made up his mind.

"Go ahead I have nothing else to live for anyway".

"Good, good, good, I knew that you wouldn't disappoint me"

"Now lay your eyes on the weapon that was able to completely destroy the seven original G.o.ds."

As the being stretched out his hands slowly a pitch black metallic arm guard began to materialize in his left hand and a completely white metallic arm guard appeared in his right hand. The arm guard in the left hand was so black it seemed to be absorbing all the darkness around it, while the arm guard in the right hand was so white it seemed to sparkle even in the dim lighting.

They both had very complicated design and writings that s.h.i.+ Yan was unable to understand. The designs made it seem as if a black and white river was running through each respective arm guard and was constantly on the move. There were three empty sockets on each arm guard that seemed to have once held some sort of precious jewels.

"The black one is called Konton and the white one is called Chūmon. The weapon can change its shape according to the will of its user. During the Great War the gems that were in each of the weapons and what gave them their world shaking powers were scattered across the three realms of heaven, h.e.l.l and earth. You are currently in the astral realm where the seven main G.o.ds stay. You will need to find all six of these gems to bring the weapon back to its ultimate peak."

"As soon as you equip the weapons your positive emotions will be drained away'

He then threw the arm guards into s.h.i.+ Yan's hands. s.h.i.+ Yan took a deep breath and quickly equipped both weapons onto his arms.

As soon as the weapons were equipped he could feel a large amount of power rus.h.i.+ng through his body, the restraints that were holding him down completely broke away and the black cloud of resentment that surrounded his body was absorbed back into him, but as he gained this power s.h.i.+ Yan could feel as if he was also losing something very important.

As he stared at the arm guards on his arm s.h.i.+ Yan decided that this form was not convenient enough for him, so he used his mind to turn the arm guards into two cuff bracelets that fit perfectly on his wrists with three sockets in each bracelet.

"You shall now be reborn as a pure blood vampire of the s.h.i.+ household on the Ketsueki continent. I shall seal away your presence from the G.o.ds so that they will not be able to find you, I hope you succeed"

The being then waved his hand and s.h.i.+ Yan slowly began to disappear. As he stared at his slowly disappearing body s.h.i.+ Yan thought about how he was finally free and then a blood chilling smile appeared on his face.

Within the beautiful throne room the council of G.o.ds was having a meeting. Suddenly they all felt a tingle go down their spines. Suddenly the G.o.d in the red throne known as the blood G.o.d Ketsueki stood up with sweat running down his forehead, all heads turned towards him.

"The calamity has escaped"

Everyone in the throne room drew in a cold breath of air. As soon as all the G.o.ds were about to start panicking a calm voice came from the water G.o.d s.h.i.+mesu in the blue throne.

"Don't worry, the only way he would be able to harm us is if he got his hands on the divine weapons and they are sealed deep within the abyss of death where father Chaos is sealed. If he even thinks about getting revenge on us the only thing that awaits him is an eternity of suffering. Now calm down and let us get back onto the topic of declining sacrifices."

The throne room then began to settle down unaware of the calamity that was approaching them step by step.
